sorry, I borrowed the drill, then I had to find the drill key... it had fallen in the stew, so I borrowed someone's fishing pole to get it out...

Deck is lookin' good, I watched Tim's tool time for advice.. ignored it and did my own thing.... sweet as... us Kiwis are all into DIY it is in our DNA.

Drill is under your throne in that little drawer where you keep your Arsenal score sheets...

Strawberries are very nice.. my grandson likes them trouble was he dropped it in the grass and then he had greenery to eat along with the strawberries... I much prefer mine with cream, mascarpone or quark...

Silly me I have just realised what I had not done :-0. Off up the turret now to install the supa dupa catapult .

Just been out and planted my mushrooms in the field outside the castle. Mole traps laid and ready for the next batch of stew. Few chooks in a pen for the fresh eggs to make my omelettes. This place is starting to feel very homely ;-)

Banana fritters!! Yummy!!! And some pineapple rings dipped in demerara sugar and grilled on the barbie!! And of course, the well stocked wine cellar!! :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Edit: Penthouse, Maz!!! Oh, go on then! At least you will be able to rock'n'roll with frog, without disturbing the rest of us!! Get the idea?!! ;-) ;-)

well LG ive ended every thread mentioning my strawberries, ive shelterd them from the wind that whistles from the north i suppose that has to do with the srouts down under :-P :-P

if i dont have to cook i will try anythig once the staff quaters look fine .I see l has the penthouse again lol

Moreton Bay bugs. Google it. Difficult to describe but delicious to eat. We also have yabbies but they are more of a fun, go catch them yourself, type food, rather than buy.

The castle looks lovely with its decking and pergola. Does this mean a barbecue area. Ah yes Persie has that under control.

Nice idea with the multiple thrones LG. Good try. However I will bet the main, superior, proper, authenic throne is still fought over in the wee small hours.

I will decorate my room this evening, and put some Australian food in the pantry. I think the Arsenal Ark Royal needs to be moored in the river connected to the moat by a lock. We can bring it up to the castle moat for loading and unloading. Are the staff quarters comfortable. I keep thinking Upstairs Downstairs, and there is quite a crowd of them now.

Cooked bananas!!!! Don't you dare! Well only if you are putting them in a curry. Bananas are for eating fresh and adding to smoothies. I suppose you could make a few cakes and scones with the over ripe ones.

Well I need to think about getting ready for work work. Nope, reprieve, OH has just occupied the bathroom. Off to have a lurk on the boards. If there are any of them left after Persie has completed her renovating.

It's alright for some, sitting all day!!!!! I hope you have planted the strawberries in the garden at the castle, Puss!!

If we get a couple of cows in the fields, we can make our own cream and butter!! The cream will go down well with the strawberries and I can have oodles of toast for breakfast every morning!! :-D

I have been busy finishing my room too! Beautifully furnished, with lots of lovely drapes, plump cushions and a carpet to sink your toes into!! All in lovely pastel shades. And a secret door for my groundsman, cum fire officer, come whatever!!

well ive spent the whole day sat watching my washing dry and planted my strawberries, ive never seen ones like this before they were all withered and dried, but sprang to life when planted and watered xx

I think you are right Pauline, I have just finished putting the finishing touches to my room. Very tastefully decorated with walls that cannot be repainted,papered or in other way defaced. A good sized cabinet for all my weaponery and the broomstick of course. Lovely wardrobe for all my finery with loads of hooks for tin hats in various colurs and designs. A huge lock on the door to keep out anyone who tries to disturb me or my CP Gunnersaurus.

Hmm my new throne is soooooo comfy.

I have placed several other thrones in the anti chamber so that you may all take your pick and upholster them as you would like (hopefully mine will be left alone :-|). Just off to make a nice mushroom omelette and stir the Mole stew.

I must have had the same sort of day as you LG because I didn't spot anything wrong with drying the washing line...... :-D :-D I was even going to say that I got mine dry as well. :-) :-)

I see you've all got the castle fitted out with some very tasteful additions.

The dungeon makes a very good wine cellar.

And Persie's doing a grand job with the spare planks of wood and nails.

We can all start moving our belongings in now I think.
