If we could build a big enough moat we could launch the Arsenal Ark royal on it and sell day fishing tickets or boat trips :-D :-D

Ooooh, I like the idea of the evening soirees Aunty!!! And I must start now with recruiting a groundsman / fire officer!!! Perhaps he could also double as a beefeater in charge of the tower!!

Quite like the idea of a moat as well!! I'm a bit good at running round them, as I proved some years ago on a six mile obstacle course for charity!!! Very muddy though when completed so I hope we have a good efficient laundry.

Now, I must away and think up some dastardly deeds that will result in me spending some time in the tower ;-) ;-) ;-) After I have recruited of course!! :-D

Hello hope those of you that have had stuff to sort are ok, just popped in to have a look round, ive spotted a new castle is that for us to move into.

Morning all. Lovely castle Pauline, I had not seen it before. What a great idea. It will have a throne room and a ballroom for our evening soirees. We can also have side entrances and a moat for the otters and other critters to swim in. Do we change from Nut Lodge to Nut or Nutters Castle, or Castile de Nut, or Chateau Nut.

By the way I am on .com.au and the castle appears fine. YG the grounds are yours and with meerkats, prarie dogs, sabre tooth tigers, otters, and other assorted critters you will probably need to hire a groundskeeper. Someone who can double as the fire warden, perhaps!!!?

It castle probably has plenty of room for a wine cellar and the kitchen will have the custard and mole stew vats incorporated into the structure.

I washed the tat off with eucalyptus oil. Came off quite easily. I don't think Blondie's new bloke is a doer upperer. The first time she mentioned renovations he politely declined to become involved. Must have had a past experience and decided it wasn't his scene. When she told me she just grinned and said, well I know I am capable of doing it so he will have to put up with it!! Independent one that woman.

OH had another eye treatment on Friday, pleased to say he is much better this morning. He is responding well to the treatments and the time between them has been increased.

Oh I really dislike daylight saving. It is not quite 6.00 am and is still very dark. We waste more electricity having all the lights on in the morning, than what we save in the evening. Daylight saving fans don't take into account people who wake up early. I think we have a month or more of this to go yet. Mutter, mutter, mutter!!!

Err mmmm, LG, Pepi is very well trained and besides, he will be so well looked after that he won't want to escape!! The burrows might be handy for burying the mole stew!! :-D :-D

Hi YG , make sure you bury the fencing deep as Ground hogs have a habit of digging their way out.

That's a super castle Pauline - as long as it is damp and draft proof, with both aircon and central heating? That ought to cover all or most requirements. ;-)

I'm extending the garden, so that I can have a section fenced off for my prairie dog. I will build him a lovely large kennel, with separate sleeping area. It will have terrracotta roof tiles and a mediterranean colour scheme on the walls.

Aunty, I made an extension to the lodge but then something bigger and better was wanted............ so I made a castle.

It's on one of the other pages, I'll go and have a look for it. By the time I'd found all the old stone to build it.............. you had all moved on to another page. :-) :-) :-) :-)
