I thought your troublesome neighbours had gone, Maz, or have you got them at both sides?

We had someone throw bananas at our windows some years ago and it dried on. What a job trying to remove it!!

Fortunately, we don't have any problems here. I daren't put any solar lights in the front garden though because they are susceptible to being taken. I think it is probably people leaving the pub late at night and because I am the corner plot so am quite exposed. They don't seem to bother with my neighbour's lights.

Mazfromnorf Report 19 Feb 2012 14:06

we appear to be the target at the moment with things thrown at windows .so just grinnin and bearing it they are probably from next door so we will have to put up with it

Oh dear. Poor you. May be you should step back and let them get on with it? After all, they are all adults now, although they'll always be your babies.

What a waste of good eggs Maz. Anyone else had them chucked at windows in your street, or just you?

PC has been on Waking Nights, so came in just after 7.30. I think she is planning to slob around today after having a 'nights' sleep.

Nothing too serious but they need our attention before becoming so. I'll be back soon as you don't lose me that easily <3 <3 <3

Morning - I was up early again, at 8am as I have to get up 'even earlier' tomorrow at 7 to get ready for work work...trying to re-educate the body clock. At least it means there is longer to play on the computer until OH a-rises.

I know how your Dad felt Maz. There's nothing better than having the radio on when you're having a snooze - you don't sleep quite so deeply or wake up groggy.

So the Blonde one is going to be an instant mum, is she? Hope the Steps get on with her. What every happened about that tattoo - did it wear off?? Best for them to take their time looking for a together home, even if its only going to be a rental. If they end up with a dooer-upper, at least you'll have an extra pair of hands to help this time.

RMS may moan about the rain storm, but she does keep saying that she lives in an arid area. Our reservoirs are less than 50% full. Most of the rainfall is in the autumn, which didn't really happen. Hose pipe bans and extraction from Rivers are on the cards. :-0

Do you think LG is curled in a feotal postion after the footie defeat???

morning i am always good at swoonng up here we have no choice in liking footy lol with the three major teams on the doorstep
My dad was a cricket fan he had the radio on when the matches were on he would sleep through it if you turned it off he woke up lol so mum made sure it was always on lol

You do sound very much like a very happy footy fan Maz. I am listening to the cricket. We are playing India in a one day game. So far so good. Also watched and listened to an Australian game yesterday. My team won the right to host the grand final one day game in our State comp.
No the house did not give me any expensive ideas. It was very nicely presented by I don't think it has enough room for Blondie and her instant family.

It is still 27 degrees here at 7.00 pm. Been 32 today and looks like staying in the high 20s, low 30s for the rest of the week. I need to do a bit more tidying up, putting things away, sorting out this evening. Yes it is hw but someone has to do it.

Sending over a shipment of Australian meat pies for the Arsenal soccer team. I gather it is too late, so perhaps you can freeze them for next year. They need fattening up, muscle building. Perhaps a keg of Aussie beer might also help.

I'll stick to the row boat or the catapult for transport between Oz and the UK, thank you. Flying of any description does not please me at all.

Well you know what I have spent the weekend doing!!! Work, work. No good allowing me a Friday off, the work work still has to be done. Conference was OK. Not excellent, no food provided, and what pray tell does one go to a conference for, the food of course.

I learned a few things, one in particular.... that I can not think in a conflict situation, and make wise, informed decisions, and speak at the same time. I need to go away plan my strategy, gather my thoughts, and then have an argument. So if you would like to have an argument with me you will need to make an appointment, date, time, place and topic. I will arrive with the argument all mapped out with possible solutions, compromises and points of view.

Off the cuff argument puts me to a distinct disadvantage. Brain and mouth do not synchronize.

The wings, wand and dog need to be added by the people who provide the avatar. There are choices, you can dress yourself up to be any number of different people. It is fairly simple but quite good fun.

Daughter is picking me up so we can go look at a house she and her bloke have interest in. No they can't buy it, a bit too early and the deposit will probably need a lotto win at this stage. It's nice to look. Gives me great ideas of what I can do around here.
