Most definitely chill time LG. A really easy evening tonight!

I have an early doctor's appointment tomorrow, then food shopping and the unmentionable, but it will be a quick whip round me thinks and plenty more chill time over the weekend. :-) <3

I have booked the remainder of my annual leave starting 19th March with seven working days off so it will be 12 days in total. I can't wait!!

Evening YG. I have had quite a week of it too. Glad it's over and I feel so pleased with myself today as I have caught up with my backlog of chores at last. Just finished the last one which was coquering Everest (the ironing pile) :-D. Time for us both to chill out methinks. <3

Evening all.

The end of an absolutely horrendous week at work!

Weekend!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Puss, you will need to save as much elastic as you can. Aunty makes frequent visits over here, but we till haven't managed to land her in the vat of custard yet.

Has anyone warned Puss of the botty stamping ceremony!!! :-D :-D

35!!!!! Mmmmmmmmm, I need to give that more thought!!

Morning all - lets hope Sylvia found the pink custard to her liking; she probably bounced on the skin!!

Didn't OH and his mates come back from the last fishing trip with upset tum-tums? Their hygiene and/or food storage may leave something to be desired. Are you sure the Fresh Fish haven't been infected???

Good luck with all those hours at work, Maz. Do you really start one shift at 2am, or was that a typo? The inhabitants will probably decide to kick off, so you will have a bit of company of the Boys in Blue! Did the invite to coffee with one of them come off, or was he gracefully turned down?

Our day time temperatures are supposed to get up to 8c next week, although the meteorologists are keeping their eye on a warm front coming in from the Atlantic. The water Reservoirs in the SE are at less than 50% capacity; we need a lot of precipitation to avoid water restrictions in the summer.

Aunty doesn't seem to have a good one this year, has she?

AuntySherlock Report 10 Feb 2012 10:29

Oh LG you didn't tip Sylvia into the pink custard. Not into the vat under the throne. Oh my she will be all pink when she climbs out, and very cross. And who is going to be brave enough to tell her what went on in that custard??!!!

Oh well, never mind. If you settles your botty on the throne you have to be prepared to defend your position. Flaming freezing cold in this place. Was just 17 degrees this afternoon. OH has returned home bearing quantities of lovely fish. Judging by the stories the male side of the family should all be feeling a little under the weather. Something they ate no doubt.

And speaking of eating I notice references to hot chocolate, cheesecake and other delicious morsels. You are wasting your time I will not be tempted. Aunty hastily brushes the Christmas pudding crumbs from off the desk. Well it was only a tiny little bit and someone has to eat it. Still tastes as nice as it did on Christmas Day.

I see you are all contemplating the coming of spring. All this talk about flowers and blooms is enough to start the hay fever. About March isn't it. That's when we start autumn and then we are back into winter again. Waaaaaaaa I haven't even had enough of summer yet.

Hi there Pussthingy you haven't visited Nut Lodge for quite a while. I tried to find your last post but this mob talk so much it was plain impossible. Hope you are comfortable in your suite. It has a virtual in built decorating process. Imagine what you would like and whoosh there it is. Put your spare knicker elastic in the top drawer in the throne room. Elastic is needed to propel the catapult. Saves me having to row over to attend important functions.

I must away. I am in dire need of a new avatar. I have wasted sooooo much time looking. Trying to find something refined, beautiful, tasteful, with lots of wow impact, as befitting a mature 35 and a bit year old. Aunty grabs her tin hat and water bottle and skittles off to hide from the missiles being chucked at her!!! It's true, I tell you, I am so....................35 ish.

What's oven cleaning???

One rack got scubbed before Christmas, but it was so boring, the other 2 are still black. Well, they get heated every time the oven is used, so there aren't any germs!!!

PC has said it was snowing quite thickly 5 miles away, but we have only a dusting showing up on the cars. She is rather disappointed as she was hoping to have an excuse not to go to work tomorrow. :-)

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 10 Feb 2012 00:06

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 9 Feb 2012 23:50

You can keep it there then! Anyway, if you catch the edge of the snowfall, it will give you something to do while you are looking out at the cold, white stuff :-P

Don't like the sound of frozen rain - there was an item from York about it. Yuck.

Hope Sylvia's OH enjoyed his coffee today, and replenishing his tummy ;-)
