Whoops, missed you there Aunty!! You weren't anywhere to be seen when I posted!!

Have a good run, walk or crawl!! At least it's not too hot!!

Snowmen!! Lovely!! Well, it used to be when I was a child!! Not so sure now I am in my dotage!!

Still updates to do, but they can catch up day by day cos I am bleary eyed looking at this screen constantly!! It's time to chill and enjoy the result of all my hard work restoring it all!!

Lucky YG (not!) At least they have a chance to clear the roads before you have to go back to work. Its due to reach us about 10pm and stop about 8am - what fun to wake up to a white world (if it does actually happen)

Snowpeople? You are Soooo P.C. Aunty. Snow men? Yes, it has been known, but only as the resident youngest wants to play in the snow at the tender age of the mid 20's. :-D

If you are fit, it tends to bring out the child in you :-D (I do put my foot down to Snow-Angels, lying down in it and spreading your arms and legs wide)

Good luck with the 'walk'. 5 km should be a doddle, despite the inclement weather.

Evening everyone.

Well the snow started here around 2pm and is still going strong! At least the gritters have been busy all afternoon and have even coated the side roads!!

My son has been to bleed the radiators for me as the one in the hall was totally cold and the lounge radiator was tepid at the top. He has done them all, bless him, and they are working great now. I also have a vent in the lounge and it was blowing a north pole wind through it, so a bit of cling film has come in very handy!!

Morning all!! It is four o'clock morning time. I am sitting here eating my porridge out of the saucepan. Have been awake for ages and too scared to go back to bed in case I sleep in.

I need to leave at 5.30. This morning's walk/run starts at 6.30, to escape the heat. It is cold, overcast and windy. Forecast is for rain, rain, rain. Hope it holds off until I am finished. Only 5km this time. I'll do the ten next time.

Our lovely weather has actually fallen in a heap. Low to mid twenties with lots of rain for the next week. Remnants of cyclones from up our norf. Wish they would keep their weather. Your white stuff is making our news. Do you actually go outside and make snow people???!!! Yuck, ugh, it is horrible, wet and cold. Give me sandcastles any day.

What a hive of activity this thread is. Moving, searching, restoring, advising, viewing, participating, exercising. Phew! Need a rest just thinking about it all. Off to shower, if I sit here any longer I will fall asleep and have to do my 5km with little squares imprinted on my forehead where I have rested against the keyboard.

Hope you enjoyed the panto, a different production to the earlier one?

OH is the one to get involved when BM moves flats. He (OH) is insisting that any new one has got to be on the ground floor or have a lift as he isn't getting any younger :-D

Oh well off we go again :-D. Off out to a pantomime with Brownies and Rainbows this afternoon. Oh yes I am :-D :-D :-D :-D. Then over to collect last 4 large crates to take to new house. I hopefully will get back on this evening if I don't nod off in the chair.
Have a good day and keep warm <3

Once a parent always a parent :-D. I think I have worried more about them as they have got older than I ever did when they were little. It's easy going when you know who they are with and where they are, now they are off out all over the place.

Ah, the supervisor - the best job to have. After all, someone has to see the bigger picture :-D

PC has decided that this year, if we say 'don't come home' she'll stay put. I think she has learnt her lesson after having to be dug out at the end of our drive! She was going to drive down to Deal this evening after a course she is attending, to watch her Boyfriend's band, but as of yesterday had changed her mind. She's got a shovel in the boot, just in case.!! I don't think we ever stop worrying about them even when they are technically adults.

If it snows I will go into hibernation. :-D.

Morning DET, I am not doing too much have no fear ;-). I am mainly the removal driver watching the others do the lugging about :-D

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 4 Feb 2012 10:21

Don't over do it LG, or you will take far longer to recover from your current lurgy. :-0

With the promise/threat of snow tonight, we will have to retreive the wellie boots from the shed and put the shovels and grit next to one of the doors. Its unlikley that we will be snowed in, but better safe than sorry :-)

YG Report 3 Feb 2012 23:05

Boo LG!!

Been buried again under updates and backups. I'm sitting here hopping mad now as I set up a full back up, but by the time I got to disc 5 it decided to tell me there was an error! I have been waiting almost two hours for it to complete and I could have been in bed catching up on some well needed sleep!! :-P :-|

yes I had a voucher lol but have used them up now so will use GRO from now on

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 3 Feb 2012 18:34

Were are you ordering it from? I thought GRO was a flat £9.25 with no discounts. They are the base source for certificates (apart from the original issuing office)

You aren't (shock, horror) ordering through Ancestry, are you??????

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 3 Feb 2012 18:19

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 3 Feb 2012 18:13

Do we detect a bit of 'pworrah going on YG? ;-)
