Derek, we used to say, a pinch and a punch for the first of the month, and no returns. Then you could answer, a hit and a kick for being so quick.

I have heard the too much water theory, DET. Strangely I believe my case was the exact opposite. Too much electrolyte fluid. I drank one type before the walk, then a different type during the walk. I hardly drank any plain water at all. I have been sticking to the water since then and so far so good. It may also be that I just drank too much fluid, full stop. I really don't think I need as much fluid as I am drinking so plan to cut down a bit. I will know on Sunday.

I have not reverted to my childhood. I never left it. Well think about, where I work, what my "hobbies" are and how my age is going backward and you must agree.

Aunty now has two fascinators from which to choose for the big occasion. Did I tell you I actually wore one to the last dining out experience with OH. Looked like a real lady I did.

I have had an electronics evening. Downloaded iTunes again. I had removed it from the computer back in the troubled times before the IT guru collaborated with Sweetpea and improved the machine. Found my speakers I bought months ago and connected them up. Worked out how to sync my ipod. Forgotten how to delete and add songs. Heavens the forget germ soon creeps into the brain doesn't it. Reach 35 and it's all downhill on the brain cells.

It's Wednesday here so it's not over there yet. That means YG still has a day or so to go before her computer is on the mend. Wonder if her computer person wears a uniform!!! Aunty ducks, and runs away; off to hide again.

Hi Derek - weren't White Rabbits for the 1st of March? Or is that a north/south thing? :-D

Maz, only 14 days to Valentine's day - do you think Frog will propose? Or are you going to ask him on the 29th? He/you will have to start planning a special celebration. Ah, young lurve.

18 and 21? I'm 25, dont'cha know?

Glad you had a good birthday Aunty...and resisted the chocolate and cakes.

Something cropped up in conversation the other day, which made me think of you and your feeling unwell in a half marathon.

Apparently, one of the inlaws neighbours (proper elderly) had to go to hospital as he had drunk too much water. It had washed too many electorlites etc out of his body. The chat turned to isometric drinks for atheletes, so I wondered if something like that would help you in the future? You may not be aiming for a Commonwealth record, but you are still exerting yourself and perspiring.

Lets hope Sylvia's physio turns up trumps...it'll get worse before it gets better ;-)

Thank you SilviaIC. I hope the second part of the physio's prediction also comes true.

I had a busy day at work, have heard from the rest of the family and will have visitors later this evening. OH prepared me a delicious prawn salad tea in celebration. I did not want any cake and he was happy to comply with that request.

It is mild to cool with the promise of warmer temperatures over the next few days.Only a month to go before autumn, then it will be winter and I will be whinging again about the cold. I know, stop wishing the nice weather away and enjoy it while it is there. OK! OK!!

Thank you to you all. Yes YG I have your message and thank you Pauline for my singing puppies and stylish greeting. OH has given me my next Ancestry Sub, hmm and probably my GR one as well if I am frugal. I have received a gym shirt and and iTunes card from the granddaughter, and my good friend has given me a book. And it is still only 5.45am.

And I can be 35 if I like, it will make an 'orrible hash of the family tree but who cares!!

Thank you LG. Decided to sit here and see if anyhing magical happens if one stays awake at midnight on one's 35th birthday.

Nothing happens. I am here all alone, it is quite chilly, and very quiet. Then I saw your message and it brought a smile to my face. I thank you for your hapy wishes and yes your calendar is spot on!!

I almost wish it wasn't my birthday because it means I am a year older. Strange how, when you are young you can't wait for that next birthday. When you turn 35 the birthdays seem to arrive more rapidly than you would prefer.
