I have a friend who insists on staying in bed for 12 hours but most of the time she's just watching the telly.

I would have a bad back if I was in bed that long.

He says he drifts in and out of sleep. :-0

Even though I knock around for hours before getting dressed, once I'm awake, I'm awake. His behaviour is something I've had to accept, but it does irritate sometimes. Its something to do with not having anything to do with his day....hence the recent 'retirement' discussion.

Is he actually asleep that long DET?

Maz - like most things, the more you use it, the easier it gets. :-)

It's best not to rely on an online tree for all your recording. Get an off line one, even if it's one of the free versions, and make sure you source everything. That way you can back track in the future to double check/correct errors.

At least yours is up and raring to go. Unless he *needs* to go out before midday, mine'll stay there for 12 hours. Even before we were married eons ago, he was known as the Horizontal Champion :-|

~~~~ enjoy your 'outing'.
Hi everyone, I'm sitting here with my 3rd cup of coffee, trying to talk myself into doing the ironing. Mind you, I'm not trying too hard. :-)
It's just stopped raining here but it's getting really dark again, so I think it's about to chuck it down.
Barbara, we say 'shopping' but my mam's generation (and all the ones before) always said 'messages'. Sometimes my mam seemed to be stuck in a time-warp because she often said 'rations'. :-)
I get this problem every wintertime so I am used to it. I usually improve loads when the weather is better and I am out and about and in the garden etc. The fresh air is a bit too fresh for me at the mo ;-) :-D :-D
Get them to refer you elsewhere. You can't keep on like this and there may be something a specialist knows will tackle your particular strain. The GP may be assuming its an every day sniffle, when it actually isn't.
Morning DET. I don't think this a new lurgy just a revisitation of the virus I had a little while ago. My problem is if I go to doctors they cannot help me much as I am allergic to most of their lotions and potions.
Get of Maz the throne is needed for you poorly Maj. :-D :-D :-D
Any of those Bagels left Maz? 2nd cup of coffee is already to hand, thank you v much. Enjoy your weekend off paid toil.
Why are you hiding Aunty? You have stayed at home today, ministering to your beloved like a good little wife - lol
I bet Sylvia's OH is cross that his labours were in vane, but sometimes even the weather forecasters get it wrong. At least it ironed out the kinks from sitting in a plane for 11 hours!
PC has got herself in a loop with her dissertation. She needs ethical approval from her place of work, who would rather not give it until the Uni agree, who want the place of employment to give theirs first :-( Oh, and no-one is quite sure if the place of employment *has* to agree at all!
Hope you are feeling a bit better today LG. Vitamin supplements in pill form won't hurt quite as much as catapulted oranges :-D
