I'm watching Martin Clunes in French Polynesia! Wow, what a beautiful place :-) I could soak up a month of being there quite easily if it wasn't so far away :-D :-D

I have enjoyed doing it for many years and it is a good excuse to sit down with a cuppa

I was thinking of doing it but not sure that I could devote the time to do it properly. I have loads of them coming to feed, and the cheeky little ones hide in the bare hawthorn hedge watching me take the food out. I can them chirruping away and it makes me laugh as they seem to be hiding, but make so much noise it is obvious they are there!!

No not this year YG, we have too much going on and I forgot to apply. It is probably not to late but I will wait until the next one

We were lucky in that we acquired some concrete blocks that make very strong raised walls

I would be able to do that with two of the beds, but can't do the back border as it is right up to the fence, and the narrow front border again runs right along the fencing. I'm sure you remember that, although it hasn't happened for about 3 years now, it is prone to being knocked down by car thieves losing control on the bend!!
