I haven't looked at our forecast yet but I never take a lot of notice as they are usually wrong,I just look out of the window ;-) :-D :-D

Rain is forecast for the whole week here, although temperatures are increasing :-0 It doesn't look as though I will get any walking done!!

There are not many shops open today I think so they may have to wait :-D. It is grey,dry and cold here but on our way home it was wet and then really foggy. Perhaps it will be brighter tomorrow as a little bit of brightness would lift the spirits :-D

You'll have to be a good girl to make up for that burger, LG, but when needs must, what can you do!!

I bought a joint of pork for today, so am pleased that I didn't take it out of the freezer last night. I will have it later in the week.

I might be wrong, but i have a suspicion that they have gone to the mall today, as M will be wanting to look in the sales and buy all her cards and wrap for next year and definitely have a meal before they go home.

I don't know what the weather is like for you, but it has been misty rain all day today and has been looking very murky out there. It would be a whole lot more cheerful if it was dry, sunny and frosty :-0 :-0

I could sleep for a week :-D :-D. I am not sure what we are having yet as we stopped off at the services as usual ti break the journey and had a Burger. I hope I don't regret it :-0

I think we had better sleep through next year :-D :-D

Another good night' sleep tonight, and I will be much better tomorrow :-) My eyes still feel like p** holes in the snow :-D :-D :-D

Tea tonight is going to be ham, egg and chips :-D

I am still feeling a bit off but better than yesterday evening thank goodness :-D

I'm feeling a bit better tonight, LG. I was off it on Christmas Eve evening, but was ok yesterday morning, just extremely tired and it didn't help having to get up at 6am again to be down at R's for 8.30am. Christmas dinner out was okish, but prefer home cooked and I was just feeling very miserable with myself and couldn't wait to get home. I stuck it out until 9pm then came home and watched a bit of tv, I stayed in bed this morning, got up, made some toast and went back to bed, eventually surfacing about 11.30am.

R tucked into food again when we got back, so he is back in the gym in the New Year. I couldn't face anything and as M had bought in afternoon tea boxes she gave me one to bring home for today so I had that at lunchtime.

Afternoon YG, we had a good time with the not so mini Gooners thank you :-D. I have had a dicky tum which I think was caused by rich food and different water both of which I am not used to. I hope you are feeling better <3

Maz, I'm pleased you enjoyed yesterday. It sounds as though there are lots of choccies for you to eat. I have avoided them well this year, apart from Walnut Whips which are a long standing tradition with my friend.

I have had a long lay in, then put all the presents away and had a quck vacuum round. I'm having a quiet day today as I have been a bit under the weather. Just thinking about what to have to eat tonight!

We tidied up after ourselves yesterday, there is only us two so not a lot to start with really, we haven't always been that organised for a long time.
just had the traditional Boxing Day dinner so again not a lot to do to clear up.
good that lunch was a success and that you are relaxing now Maz, you work hard and deserve to.

Evening everyone, I hope to had a good day although it can be a bit chaotic sometimes. We have been watching Morecambe and Wise, they still make us chuckle, proper comedians if sometimes they are not P C. ;-)

We have been busy one way or another today, I have just been talking to my friend in America for an hour, now I am going to have a cup of tea and make the custard for the trifle which we will be having tomorrow after dinner instead of Christmas pudding :-D

I was up with the alarm at 6.30 and at the local shops by 7.15am. What a horrible. misty, murky wet morning it was too!! The shops were quiet, but unfortunately I couldn't get the wine I wanted for my hairdresser as you can't buy alcohol until after 8am!! Shows how much I drink to not know that :-D :-D I had to go back again a bit later!!

Had a visit from my daughter in law's brother this afternoon and am sitting with my feet up now. It will be an early night for me as I have to be up at 6.30am in the morning :-0 :-0

On Sunday I am staying in bed :-) :-) :-)

Maz, make sure you get some rest. I know it is very tempting to want to do everything right, but try to get the family helping!!

We are going to have to be a bit quick in getting that throne room repainted and new furniture in there. I might have to give Christmas dinner a miss to get it done :-D :-D :-D :-D

I have the veg to prep ,table to sort and other stuff to do ,I will hoover round soon too
Cleo is hiding at present which is handy as I can get stuck in
