I don't blame him, LG, even with a fur coat on!! I'm getting my hot water bottle filled tonight, even though I have put the heavy duvet on!!

This lunchtime my young buddy that I used to work with popped in for her annual visit. I love to see her and she stayed for two hours!! I just kept having a quick look to see if any e-mails were coming in, but all was quiet, more or less. I really enjoyed the natter and catch up :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

It is not very pleasant out is it, even the cat went out and flew back in a couple of minutes later. :-D

I've had to nip out for milk and it's raining and freezing cold!! I went up to the shops at teatime as I needed a screw for one of the window catches in the kitchen, called in at the minv market knowing I wanted two things!! Could I remember what the second one was ............................NO :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|

I use O'Keefe's working hands which I find brilliant. I used some earlier and they are feeling a bit less sore now.

Sore hands are awful, especially when they start catching on clothes and items when you are ironing :-0 :-0 Mine have been touchy since using brillo pads while I was cleaning the oven shelves. I bought some Body Shop Hemp hand cream on the recommendation of a friend last year and it is really good. She said her husband swore by it, so I got a small tube, £4 I think, a bit pricy but it works well

ZZzzz, I was waiting in at teatime for a delivery that was due between 5.45 and 7.45 so avoided going to the fish'n'chip shop in case he came. Then checked the tracking and it had been moved to 7.45 to 9.45, It was too late for the chippy so I just cooked some chips with scrambled egg and ham, I was half way through cooking the eggs when the door bell rang!! Time; 7.15pm :-D :-D

Evening all, I have been a bit busy today pottering about and listening out for a delivery which didn't happen, it will be here tomorrow while I I'm out of course but hubby will be here hopefully.

Evening YG, I'll let you off this time but don't let it happen again. ;-) :-D. My fingers and hands are really sore from all the Holly. I have made 5 of them now although the one for a baby is artificial as it is made much smaller than the others to fit on his little grave.

Well done with the wreaths, LG. I finally managed to get a Christmas posy for Mum and it has been sitting outside for a couple of days. I will take it either tomorrrow lunchtime or on Friday when I leave the hairdressers as it is only up the road from here.

The last gifts are all done and dusted, just one birthday gift to wrap tonight. It was only delivered half an hour ago!

I am sitting with feet up for the whole evening now. I have changed the duvet over tonight as it has turned so cold and it is trying to sleet now. A very comfortable night's sleep ahead, I hope, as I have started waking between 2am and 4am again on a regular basis.

Evening Maz, I have been busy finishing off the wreaths for the churchyard. They are now ready to deliver tomorrow after shopping.How lovely to be spoilt with gifts :-)

Where are the elves ? Hopefully not being too naughty ,,
I felt like a teacher today as i was given flowers,chocolates ,a plant and a gift card today .
We were busy too but it was a good day .
I see the black cats got beat last night ,the bus got back about two this morning so all were tired .

Morning all, bloomin cold and frosty here but thank goodness we are in for the day except for me dropping a card through a neighbours door and getting the bin in when it has been emptied.
