I only have a top coat of emulsion to do on one side of the stairs and that will be it done. I can then put the border up and start the deep clean ready for the end of next week.

I have often had a cold after painting, but I can't even blame that this time! I did escape last year when R did the lounge for me an##d I was labouring for him :-D :-D

Oh well, some hot milk and a couple of paracetamol might sort me out overnight. I have lots to do tomorrow but will be indoors thankfully.

We have had dodgy throats but ours is caused by the paint.

I know, LG, but I hardly go anywhere! I have been out a little bit more this week as I had to go to the office but apart from that it has just been the local shops.

I hope the sore throat gets better. The trouble with this time of year is that virus and bugs are always about.

Evening LG. I just nipped to the hairdressers in my lunch break but haven't been out since, except to the waste bin and that was enough!! :-0 :-0

I did start of gift wrapping before tea, but then got waylaid looking online for something for V and wasted a lot of time, so have only managed to get 4 easy ones done.

I seem to have a bit of a sore throat tonight, so I am hoping it doesn't develop into anything more. I am going back to mask wearing every time I go out now as I got through last winter with no colds and with the warning about this new variant I am taking no chances. Our rates are much lower here now, but I don't want even a sniffle!!

Evening YG, it has rained on and off all day here. We weren't planning to go out today but we ended up in town sorting out some banking

Yes, so did I at my line manager's funeral on 15rh January. It was a beautiful service, but the walk from here to the crem through all the snow and fog was surreal and we all had to stand outside for the service.

I had better get off to bed! I forgot the news started later tonight and I'm sitting here as though there is not early rising tomorrow!!

We stood in the snow for our funerals at the beginning of this year and it was awful.

I will be thinking about Maz tomorrow. I hope the weather is bright and dry, if cold, as there's nothing worse when it's wet and miserable. <3 <3
