Probably but it was his choice as the money came in handy. The rest of the time he worked 9 hour days

He loves his new job YG and no he as left his trade. It is good that he will not be working 14 hour days for 2 months.

Is he enjoying his new job, LG? I'll bet he's pleased he won't be working all hours leading up to the unmentionable season again, unless he has gone back in the same trade, of course!!

I have started breaking my purchases down into individual portions, ZZzzz. It works really well :-) :-)

We will be having some meat delivered tomorrow, that will keep us busy packing into individual portions then hopefully other food shopping later.

I'm going to collect my new specs tomorrow afternoon!! I made an appointment for Sunday, but thought, blow it, I am finishing early without asking and changed my appointment to 2.45 tomorrow. I would have gone in the morning but a parcel is being delivered. I worked an hour over yesterday and haven't had a lunch break today so they can like it or lump it!! :-D :-D

I had planned to do a lot too but I had a rough night so I am cream crackered. I am doing some more cross stitch while I can keep my eyes open :-D :-D

There will only be R, M, C & me. Her brother is doing his own dinner at home again this year, which pleases R no end!! V will be over at her partner's parents as it is also his birthday, so peace will reign in our household!!

I did intend to write my cards tonight and start some wrapping, but that has gone for a burton now :-D :-D :-D

Poor M, I hope she feels better soon. Stress is a b***dy awful thing :-| we are getting less now and feeling much better for it. We still don't know what the plans are for the unmentionable time

I've just had M on the phone for an hour. She has very high blood pressure and has been put on tablets but also appears to have something wrong with one of the ventricles in her heart. She sounds quite cheerful and to be honest has had a huge amount of stress this last 12 months so really needs to stop taking everyone'e problems on and relax. She sees the doctor again in 2 weeks time for more blood test and bp checks and then see what's what. We are now going to be eating out on the unmentionable day. so that will be a first for me other than once when I was in Africa.

Evening YG, I have had a rest from painting today as we went to look at a new car to replace our poor old lady who is well past her sell by date,a bit like me ;-) :-D :-D :-D. While we were out we did the weekly shop so I am going to skive off WW tomorrow and get on with it.

I think you have all hibernated in the cold weather!!

Evening all, I have had a really busy day today too. A morning in the Belfry followed by an afternoon painting and then trying hard to do get on with my cross stitch. I have just had to leave it off as my eyes are getting tired

I've been working, as usual, ZZzzz. I did have a bit of a break as I had to drive down to the office as there was a problem with the lights in the communal area. I am the nearest so it is quicker for me to go.

Apart from a half day off on 17th Dec to get my hair coloured, there is no more leave now until 24th then I'm off until New Year!

I'm resting after a busy day and the only thing to show for it is that I defrosted the freezer and I am cream crackered now.
