I would bite the bullet and go there if it was a lot bigger, never been one to cut off my nose to spite my face.

We have Tesco very near to us but it is not possible to do a weeks shopping there and I don't like them anyway.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 17 Nov 2021 21:36

We think they have and we think the same of Tesco and Morrisons have gone very pricey

We were saying earlier that Sain....s standards have dropped considerably.

LaGooner Report 17 Nov 2021 21:24

We use Aldi and local farm shops and sometimes the local butcher

YG Report 17 Nov 2021 21:15

I liked it because I can't stand Asda, or should I say the people that go there at weekends!! I don't like Morrisons and not keen on Lidl and Aldi, so I may to start using the only remaining one in the future. I have generally avoided Sains for several weeks and shopped local,.

I used to work there and it was a lovely supermarket but it's had it now.

I would love to use a different shop but that is nearest and hubby won't consider anywhere else because of the distance and he is stubborn and he has Parkinson's and he doesn't like being out of his comfort zone, apart from that he is ok. ;-)

Evening YG, I gave up shopping at Sainsbury a long time ago. :-D

YG

YG Report 17 Nov 2021 20:50

Evening everyone :-)

I actually managed to get to Sain*****'s tonight. Very disappointed as they had very few gift bags left, but lots of paper. I was quite annoyed to see boxes and boxes of them lining the wall as I was packing my shopping at the checkout. A fat lot of good they are there!! I want to see what they've got before I go through the checkout :-| :-| :-|

That store has changed drastically over the last 12 months and I am not likely to be shopping there very often now. There's no wonder I never have a problem parking!!

I did manage to get some of what I needed, so will have to search the stuff in the loft now for the rest and buy a couple more gift bags at the local post office.

He has said years ago that I won't be able to leave footprints in the snow because my arse would wipe them out, I was very skinny back then. We both have both have a weird sense of humour.

Hubby often calls me smart arse cos I say things like that but as I said before if something starts with smart it usually isn't and I can't see my arse anyway lol.
