I don't really fancy driving one either, LG, but its only 8 years away so you may have no choice eventually, although I don't see how they can force all petrol cars off the road. There must be thousands of people that can't afford new cars.

The world is becoming a very strange place nowadays!!

No electric car for us as OH does not like them,he prefers a proper engine :-D :-D. I spoke to H yesterday which was the first time in two weeks. These kids are always so busy aren't they but at least they call in the end :-D :-D

Sorry, LG. R phoned me and we haven't seen each other or spoken for more than 3 weeks ago, so there was plenty to catch up on. He has been really busy working all hours and is away all this week, in London, Birmingham overnight tonight, then home briefly tomorrow, before driving up to Newcastlle and back on Friday evening.

There's a lot going on at the moment with V that is throwing a spanner in the works!!

Are you going to think about an electric car or wait until you absolutely have no choice!! I am guessing that I won't be driving by then :-|

We have to park in a bay on te roadside so we are forever scraping ice off. Our old banger has started playing up when it is frosty so we are considering saying farewell to her. She has done well but it is now starting to get a good few old age faults ,I know just how she feels ;-) :-D :-D :-D. Not having the workshop anymore OH will not be able to work on her

When the frost hits, I usually get it worse than anyone else round here, as I am on an open corner straight across from the park so the car takes the full force of it, while everyone else's are tucked up on their drives with the houses giving them some protection!! It will be time to get the scraper and de-icer out soon!!

I was going to drive to Sains****'s after tea, but am stuck in waiting for an Amazon delivery that was due to come between 4.15 and 7.15. He's got 9 minutes left to make it on time :-D :-D

It is one of the delights of living in open countryside :-D :-D

Frost!!!! We didn't have that here, thank goodness, although in some ways I think I would prefer it mist and murk :-D :-D :-D

Evening YG, there were loads of morons around our back roads today. The weather conditions were not too clever early this morning with a mixture of frost and fallen leaves.

ZZzzz, I wish I had been a fly on the wall in M&S!!

It has been damp, cold and misty with that awful drizzle that you can barely see but soaks you through :-| It brightened up a bit this afternoon, but only that the murky misty rain disappeared.

Another air ambulance just down the road at the cemetery car park for another cyclist that was hit by a car 3p yards from the accident that happened yesterday :-0 :-0 I don't know what the h*** is going on............ well perhaps at least I have a good idea with these two incidents and surprised there haven't been more.

LG, you seem to having a spate of accidents near you as well :-0 :-0

I had my hearing aid review this afternoon, thought it was at 2:00 but it was 4:00, however the audiologist manage to fit me in but I go back in two weeks for a proper assessment. Also went to M&S to buy some clothes for hubby, that was a barrel of laughs for us both because the booths aren't big enough for two people but he needs my help to take clothes off and on, I bet others wondered what was going on when they heard us giggling and him losing his balance crash bang wallop.

Afternoon all, a very busy morning in the Belfry today. I had a long detour to get home too as there had been a pile up at the crossroads again. We have just eaten and cleared away so time for a sit down and feet up for a while

I was very sheltered from all the goings on in the world. It wasn't for tender ears and eyes like mine. You don't believe me, but my Mum didn't swear in front of me or R when he was a little. She would say 'Heavens to Betsy' if she wanted to swear!!

I wasn't allowed to have my ear pierced!! I was 30, married with an 8 year old son before I had them done and she very much disapproved and tut-tutted when she saw them :-D :-D :-D :-D
