She's self diagnosing the current 'not well', with a bit of help from the gp but hasn't been feeling well for the last 2 years ............................ yawwwwnnn :-| :-|

I am sure some folk have xray eyeballs and watch until you sit down to eat before phoning :-| :-D :-D

I had just sat down with a warm quiche and salad and d.i.l phoned! 'What are you doing', she said. 'Just sat down to eat my tea', said I! 'Oh, I won't keep you then' 45 mins later I am eating cold quiche and salad :-0 :-0

I don't like wrapping and miss my daughter living here as she is a whizz and makes them really fancy.

And there is usually something to put in there like the fans and take something out to go to the tip, that's the bit I like, getting rid of junk. :-D :-D :-D :-D

I like wrapping the presents, very satisfying, however I need to get into the attic to get the wrapping paper and cards :-D, only the two of us and I'm the shortest it and it easier for me to get in it and move around in there.

Evening YG, yes we are all clean and sweet smelling here :-D :-D :-D. We wanted to get it all done today as we have a busy day tomorrow. I have WW and shopping in the morning and my booster jab in the afternoon.

Evening Gwyn, I have 4 birthday cards to send for next week, one of which I have not finished making yet :-D

Gwen, we all seem to have a glut of birthdays around the unmentionable season, or leading up to it. My granddaughters certainly raid my purse and think its a never ending pot!! :-D :-D

I'm quite pleased that I am making progress earlier than usual. I just need to get motivated to wrap as I buy so I don't have them all to do in at once, or spread over a few consecutive evenings as I usually do :-D :-D

LG, have you got the cleaning done!! All nice and shiny now!! I have just booked the annual carpet and suite cleaning for early December. It all got out of sync last year because of Covid and I have missed the half yearly freshen up this year and didn't want to push for it as I really need the full clean now, so this will put me back on track. I can't believe how dirty the carpets have got without the refresher :-0

So far I have only written one card for the 'December event', but not sent it yet.
It will go in with a birthday card which will go to New Zealand for early December.

I had them weighed yesterday, when I was near a Post Office and bought some Christmas stamps too in readiness for nearer the time.
Nephew's birthday this week starts our family's cluster of birthdays over the next 4 months.

I have 3 already with another one due for delivery tomorrow. With my huge list I have to start early. We also have a mini gooner birthday next week but we will send money as she is at the age that she likes to go shopping for herself
