OH says it is a crime to get old :-D :-D :-D. I have back ache tonight after bending about at strange angles painting the downstairs loo. Almost done now, just a top coat of gloss on the door and a good clean up. Next week we are starting refreshing the hall and landing walls.

Been spending more money than I've got, LG :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| Went for my eye test. Eyes are doing well but new glasses have cost me a bl**dy fortune right on top of all the other expense I have had this last couple of weeks, I had better look after these well when I get them!!

That took two hours, so it after 12 when I got home. I cleaned the bedroom and kitchen windows, but that is all as I was exhausted after a busy day yesterday. I cleaned the bathroom from top to toe and stretching to wash down all the tiles upset my back, but hey ho, it had to be done and the back has recovered after an easier day today.

Old age isn't for the faint hearted :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

If they are saying that the effects of the vaccine reduce over a six month period, I wonder if we are going to needs another booster in 6 months time or whether they will decide on annual boosters, depending on the number of cases.

OH had Moderna this time and I will wait and see what they give me on Thursday. I have been up in my playroom while the F1 was on and glad of a rest after the painting job earlier :-D

My arm was a little sore but not as much as the flu jab. I wasn't feeling great the day after, but I was fine with the two Oxford jabs.

YG. I hope so too, now I have a bit of an ache in my arm and neck but nothing I can't cope with.

Evening everyone :-)

I'm not hibernating! I was really busy yesterday and was shattered by the evening, so collapsed on the sofa in the evening with awful backache.

Good today, as I haven't really done a lot other than cleaning the kitchen and bedroom windows. I had to be up early to smarten myself up for my eye test at 10am. I now need some oxygen to bring me round from the cost :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 I can't do with this on top of two birthdays, a new washing machine and the unmentionable season looming. I am mortified :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|

ZZzzz, pleased the booster jab went well. Hopefully you will be absolutely fine.

LG, you can come here when you have finished painting and do my bedroom for me!! :-D :-D

We will be popping out to the Range for a few bits and pieces. Other than that I will be hopefully finishing the paint in the downstairs loo. What an exciting life I lead :-D :-D :-D. Hoping all goes well with the jab, OH's arm is still aching but otherwise he is ok. I have mine on Thursday.

That's good because fireworks are loud for animals and they don't know what it is all about.
Edit, hubby wouldn't be to happy if I fired fireworks down the mole holes lol.

LaGooner Report 6 Nov 2021 19:30

We have a good few here again tonight so I am sitting here cuddling the cat to keep him calm. He has had his calmng treats and does not seem to be too bothered.
