We are still having the mole problem so we have bought more traps.

We have fireworks here now and they sound like they are in our front garden.

Afternoon Ann nice to see you popping in. I am busy indoors so the garden has to wait to be bedded down for a while.

We have just had lunch so I am now going back to the painting

Good afternoon all, I don't come in here often but I do read most of the time. I didn't see a single firework last night, I bet there will be some tonight, Saturday is usually the day for family parties. Needless to say I didn't hear any and this year I didn't have tony to tell me when they were going off.

Just given the lawn its last cut and cut back a large honeysuckle so the garden is ready as it will ever be to be put to bed for winter.

I have just booked my booster jab for Thursday so we will both be sorted now as OH had his yesterday.

Off to sort lunch now and then get some more painting done so I will see you a bit later

my brain is puddled at the moment It will be nice not to be waiting for important phone calls for two days .

The thing is he gets annoyed at the car park fees, he isn't a good passenger whoever is driving.

Morning all, it's hubbies 66th birthday today, I said he will be able to get a bus pass now but he doesn't want to, I told him to just do it as it will save money on car parks, £6 ish for a couple of hours in town. :-(

I have just cut the grass showing off now I am it will be the last ,froggy is coming over to pack the stuff away in the shed

Ours are still going off :-| :-| :-|. We have had the TV up a bit higher to block out some of the noise for the fur . I have had a headache from the smell of paint this evening so that did not help

We had some for about an hour, a lot less than last year so maybe it is not as popular as it used to be.

A petition has gone to Gov. uk about banning fireworks other than for organised displays and it is being debated on Monday.

Tonight there haven't been too many and all has been quiet for the last hour apart from an odd one here and there. I noticed that even the rockets now explode with a round of 'gun shots', so they are making them louder now.

To be honest, I haven't seen any display for sale in any of the shops that I have been in, so I guess most people or ordering them online.

Yes i agree, at least I can take my hearing aids out though.

The noise is aggravating me. :-|. There are very big ones going off quite near the house. In my opinion householder fireworks should be banned and only properly organised displays should be allowed.

they sure do It is not covid cos I am doing LFT testing regularly ,the smoke from the fireworks is aggravating my cough tonight

it is nice to be able to be here working through it all alone in many ways Froggy is helping me tomorrow with forms etc as he is more methodical than I am
