I'm surprised at her, but she is probably taken up with everything that has been happening for her today.

I think it is really off to ask me to pick her up in my lunch break, many of which I don't even take. They are only off out spending money again :-| I'm really annoyed now so that will stop me sleeping as I will be having some arguments going on in my head!!

Oh well, I don't have to bother much after tomorrow, other than to take V's card to R;s so that they can give it to her when they see her.

Right, I'm off, LG. Another morning rush to get tidy as I have to nip down to the office in the morning for a short while, What a week!!!

Sorry, I disappeared!!

C phoned and I thought it was to say thanks for her present, but no mention of it :-| She and her Mum want me to have Poppy tomorrow until tea time and asked if I could pick her up in my lunch break. They do my head in as they are going to Leeds shopping as if enough hasn't been spent over the last few weeks, and are going mid morning. I've said I'll have her but they will have to drop her off.

I have white in my craft room as it is north facing and needs extra light.

I've loads of spare paint in the shed, but it's mostly masonry paint for the front of the bungalow, white satin and emulsion. I could use the white for the bedroom though, so am hoping that now things are calming down with all the work that R has been doing for M's brother and V, he may find some time to fit it in for me as some point.

My Uncle was a painter and decorator and some customers let him keep any left over paint so when he had loads he would mix some colours til he had the right shade then decorate whatever room needed it.

My word woman you are falling apart at the seams ;-) ;-) :-D :-D :-D. We are freshening the place up using everything we have in stock so there will not be too much cost involved

My bedroom is desperate to be done, but needs a new carpet and a new bed. I want to get a blind as well, so that all the windows are done then. A new washer, two birthdays, Christmas and new specs has set that back somewhat!! In the middle of all that I need new teeth :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

:-D :-D :-D good excuse for not painting. What a bummer missing that after getting all dolled up. We have been busy starting to decorate the downstairs toilet at long last.

Well, I put my skates on when I got up this morning and was all done up and had just logged in to the webinar, which was an international event, and the bl**dy delivery men arrived with the washer, so I missed the whole thing!! :-D :-D :-D

I have given the sides of the two base units a good clean and the floor, so it is spotless now waiting for th engineer to install it tomorrow. I was going to emulsion the wall as the council left bare plaster when they refitted the kitchen, but I couldn't be a**sed tonight and you can't see it anyway when the machine is fitted in. Me being a bit over enthusiastic, but the thought of doubling up to get under the worktop to do it and my knees soon made me have second thoughts :-D :-D :-D :-D

Maybe V will change, H did eventually but boy for 18 years of life she gave us hell. K was no problem what so ever he is very level headed thank goodness

It has to come though, doesn't it, and I think once she is up and away, they will settle into a well deserved peaceful time as it hasn't been easy for them. Both girls have had their individual issues, very different from each other, but difficult for R& M to deal with. C is settling now but still has anxiety bouts now and again, but V doesn't really improve. The only benefit is that she is not at home now!! She will lurch from one crisis to the next for most of her life I think!! :-D :-D

I know the feeling seeing our babies growing up fast and making their own way in life
