ZZzzz I think I have at last found the first one of my missing fellas , I think he is using his step dad's surname and I think the CWGC information of claiming he was an airman is wrong. I have found absolutely nothing to back that up and don't know where the info came from.

I ask because I spent ages looking for a chap listed on a village memorial and eventually found that the village had chosen to honour all who had gone to fight, from the village, and all were named on the memorial, whether they had died in the war or not.
