thought it was very good and very well acted.Nice gentle old fashioned drama and typical of what our parents/grandparents would have liked.
Lets have more of the same!

Recorded the first part but missed the beginning of the second part; i do hope this will be repeated.

Brilliant casting, they all work so well together. We could do with more of this sort of programme.

I loved it. Managed to see (most) of both weeks. The cast really are good, very believable.

I am even tempted to read some of Elizabeth Gaskells books now.

Good too, to see the impact of the coming of the railways. We take trains so much for granted.

Yes BBC much more of the same please

I missed this both times so will watch it when it's repeated again which judging by the amount of repeats lately, won't be too long!!!

I am pleased Lark Rise is coming back as I can relate to that with my paternal family living in the area it's set in and my g.grandfather being a stonemason who was only 8 yrs older than Robert Timmins. It makes it extra special.

Diane, I too used to love Little House and the Waltons etc, in fact even my son has very fond memories of us watching those dramas together.

Thanks for the info re Larkrise. I reckon that doing family history makes it easier tto identify with the people in this sort of Drama. Just adds a little extra something.
