When I was a kid we used to get a half day of school on Pancake Tuesday. Is that still the case?


Mum would make me pancakes for lunch with lemon and sugar or Golden syrup

You can buy ready made pancakes in most supermarkets, but they are not the same as the real ones

SRS........what and deprive one of ones life little comforts or needs,,,,,,,,no I wont or ever would.:}.I think its just a plain barmy old tradition,serves no purpose ....

Joy, just mentioned it to OH, and he said the same, he could eat them anytime. Only been married 33yrs, and now he tells me. LOL

I got a couple of those plastic bottles that have the dry mix inside, all you have to do is add milk to the mark and shake until mixed....simple...lol

Just a gentle reminder, if you needed it, but Pancake Day is 16th Feb, next Tuesday. Remember to get your eggs,flour and oranges when shopping this weekend LOL
