We've got solar panels on our roof, which produce electricity. This reduces our electricity bills. I would like to have some more, and be independent of the power company, but they are expensive to purchase.

I hate wind farms too, they look disgusting, are noisy, and are a blot on the landscape. Our Gov't (Oz) always seems to put them on our beautiful coastline, and ruin it.Windfarms don't even produce a lot of power. They are very overrated,I think. The only people who really like them are 1,the
Wind farm companies and 2, the farmers who are paid compensation by the wind farm companies for putting their great noisy monstrosities on the farmer's land.

Don’t think its just about a alternative source of power, we have Wind, Solar and Wave power to keep us going, but what will happen to the atmosphere, so clean from all the pollution we now pump into it, it will change dramatically we could all burn up from the Sun or it could be the opposite and we could all freeze.

We would be forced to use renewable energy. The technology has been around for years but the government won't put the money in to properly develope it.

Build better insulated buildings so we don't need to use valuable energy just keeping warm.

And, the odd-bods will have to either invent,or discover, another way of propelling us all from a to b. Just think, nobody had heard of electricity until about 160 yrs ago, there must be something else out there.

I like the wind farms............there should be more energy taken from the power of the sea , it is constant afterall .

I sometimes wonder about what weird and wonderful ( ? ) substances are being re-created in the landfill sites that we , in our infinite wisdom , have caused . I wonder if , in the future the powers that be will decide to investigate what all our rubbish had turned into ........most of it is the residue of fossil fuel ( ie plastics etc ) .

One possibility is once the oil, gas and coal run out the greenhouse gases will reduce. Then the climate will probably get colder and head towards the next ice age, this will be an even greater challenge to the world than global warming.
