Still snow on the hilltops from last week's blizzards in the far south east, but a beautiful bright sunny day today. |

Very wet here but snow forecast tomorrow, hopefully it will only affect higher ground. |

It's been a beautiful afternoon here with the sun shining. Spring is definitely on it's way, even if it's struggling to shove winter aside to let it in. |

Never thought on that as an excuse not o garden, but it's right enough. |

Rose, leaving all the debris around the garden, is not an excuse, though I use this phrasiology myself. It is one of the best things a gardener can do. I have large ferns, for instance, in my Tropical border, but always leave the old rusty fronds on until well into spring. If I were to push them to oneside and have a peep, I would find new green curled up fronds, that the snow or frost would ruin. |

It's more or less stopped now :) really don't want it this week but I'm glad I haven't had time to tidy the garden, all the dead bits and seed heads are still there to give shelter to the bulbs underneath :) (my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) |

Rose, ditto here in Derbyshire. I was waiting to see if anyone else had it, before posting. OH just come in and said temperature registering in car is only 2.5. They have not given it good for us here, even by the weekend. |
