I bought 500 blank cards and two plastic boxes.
Then thought it was such a shame to spoil the clean, pristine, perfect surface of the cards.

My son looked at my "paperwork" and then at me and commented -

"I hope you are going to sort that lot out before you fall off your perch "

So I assume we can't expect to see the novel yet then Jill????

I have lots of files, and stuff..... all very organized.

Shame most of my notes don't make it into them, lolol lolol

Good point Uzzi - I do that too! Get carried away and scribble down the notes and forget to put the surname in 'cos I'm away down another twiggy branch ...

Tell me about it Rose!

We spent half the weekend shifting the PC from one room to another - and then all the paperwork ... I put my hands up! Guilty!!! Most of the paperwork is mine.

I am going to work out some sort of project plan and concentrate on sorting out the files. So easy to get distracted into all sorts of sidelines though. The London records on Ancestry have been brilliant but the amount of info I now have is a bit overwhelming.

And when I do start a tidy up and concentrate on one bit of the tree then I get a hot match message that is for real, or somebody I've been in contact with contacts me with new info etc. Murphy's Law isn't it?

Focus - that's my word for April!

I was trying to sort mine on Sunday Jill ....the floor is covered by half-remembered notes about people and no idea who half of them are lol.... they may well be from other peoples trees I have done look ups on

I'm not doing any more research on my tree until I've sorted out the files.

Picked up one of the folders yesterday and a heap of scrappy notes fell out. So, yes, the notes are in the right file, but ....
