Yes it does Puss. That's how the 2 year waiting list for hip replacements was cut to six months, because they sent the likes of my mum to a Bupa Hospital for hers.


To be honest, I spent my last night in hospital in a private room, after my own hip replacement, and I hated it, all on my own. I'd rather be on a ward, at least there's company there.

i'v had two ops in private hospitals paid for by the NHS don't knock it it's lovely having your own room , ensuite and all

I had one similar the other day but they wanted payment. It was a genuine letter.

come from what i thought was a private hospital saying i have to go monday for a MRI to find my brain, is this whats happening now with waiting lists are NHS patients being sent to private hospital to cut waiting lists ? does anyone know thanks xx
