Fabulous morning here! Dogs walked, Washing pegged out, hoovering done, watering done so we're both sitting outside with our morning coffee! Poor you Frank, with all those soaps!! It would drive me up the wall having to watch them at all never mind two hours of them!! Luckily it's not an issue here. I've got the hygienist this afternoon. My appointment wasn't till October, but they've had a cancellation, so I've snapped it up! Goodness, this sun is hot, I think it's doing us both good! Hope everybody is well this morning and that various difficulties will sort out satisfactorily.

Morning all,Evening Kim,
My word it is hot this morning, the stat for the heating is showing 25 degrees and that's on the coffee table.
I have been out to put the line up, Bed wash today. It only seems a couple of days ago when it was changed. I also looked in the greenhouse. You can hardly get through the door with all the growth. I have had to run a wire across the plants to pull them back. Looking at it we should be in for a bumper crop. We have had the odd one or two.
Our bed is a lift up with storage area under. When Ros remade the bed this morning she had the bed up to fit the bottom sheet, she then made the rest of the bed, and pushed the bed down. JUST BEFORE IT CLOSED a paw popped out. The stupid cat had jumped under the covers and was in the storage area. If Ros hadn't seen her, we would never know where she had gone. All well that ends well.
It's the Canal Festival this weekend, so we are all hoping for fine weather. It's open from 11.00 to 5.00 Sat and Sunday. There is always a massive crowed that attend, and all types of Canal Boats selling their wares.
I will do down with Ros first thing Sat Morning, then onto the pub for the football at 12.45 pm. She will no doubt stay down there looking around.
I think I might be on my Lounger in the garden later. This weather is to good to miss.
Just heard that Jenson Button and his wife have been Gassed while on Holiday in France. No more details yet. Will have to look at SK# News.

I've just noticed about Jenson Button online, isn't it awful, the engagement ring was worth a quarter of a million pounds but it probably meant more in sentimental value to his poor wife.
No I'm not going to get another cat Jane, we haven't had a holiday for over 12 years and have no one to look after a cat should we want to go away.
That was lucky with the cat at yours Frank, inside a bed isn't going to be the first place you'd look to find a cat, mind you you'd probably of heard it cry.
The weather here is wonderful today and my washing is drying nicely. I'm just chatting with Michelle online at the moment.
I've been in contact with the granddaughter of my husbands relative I was telling you about the other day and she has given me access to her granddad's tree without the living relatives hidden so now I can check my tree against his and update mine a bit more later.
I've done all my housework for today, in fact it was all done by 10am and I was wondering what to do for the rest of the day once I'd finished chatting with Michelle. Now I have something to occupy myself with for the rest of the day.
Just heard another message come through from Michelle so I'd better go and read it BBL

Afternoon all,
Been busy this morning, stripped the bed and that has been washing away. Oh went to our little car man as his exhaust pipe was rattleing so he had that welded up so that saved a bit of money and he only wanted a drink for doing it so oh gave him £20.
I saw the fox again last night eating the hopg food and I had the camera out but hav'nt looked at what it took yet.
Hope MIL had a good night back at home without any accidents. did you get a better nights sleep last night Ann and G? What news this morning? Hope the boiler can be fixed and the pipe had just fallen off so not a big job to have it done.
Right I am going to have a quick look at the camera now as I forgot it was out there and have only just brought it in.
Frank is this little cat just a visitor???

Ooh that is a long time not to have a holiday Gill.I totally understand not wanting another cat or even dog.We hadn't planned on any more either as it is just so nice not to have the worry of who or where can look after them. But we were chosen by you know :-D :-D.Typical LOL
Yes that is dreadful news .Fancy being gassed and robbed like that .Chris was just saying that kind of thing(with the gas) has happened before in St Tropez.
My Pizzas are in cooking. You should see the state of them.I had a real problem unrolling the Pizza base as it was so sticky.I think I might have put too much topping on as well so I'm just hoping everything is cooked before the base burns :-S :-S As long as it tastes ok I don't really care what it looks like :-D
That was lucky Ros saw the PAW Frank !!!!!..I think there would have been a lot of miaowing and scratching going on if he hadn'r been seen there :-D
Fitz has just arrived with his Saw Horse.(Chris needs to borrow it) and we have just discovered a bird in the Summerhouse so have opened it right up .So I am hoping it will find it's way out before Thomas gets in there. He is roaming somewhere.
I think I shall find it too hot outside .I might just take my flappy fan out with me :-D

What's happened to all the sunshine ??? It's turned very cloudy here. I must keep an eye on the sheets.
Ros has gone to pick up her new Glass's (MORE EXPENCE) then going on to Morriso#s to spend more. I'll never be rich !!!!
The cat is the "RAG DOLL" that Julie bought a few years back, we have it when Harvey goes to France each year. We do have our uses !!!
Tony next door has decided to TRY to stop smoking. I think the damage has already been done, from the sound of his CHEST COUGH. (BARK) Q!!! I would like to think he will, but we will see.
I don't think you will be too hot sitting out Jane. I'm warm in doors as I can't leave the doors open. I would get shot if the cat got out. It is a house cat, but I think it goes in the garden at home, for a sniff round.
Not sure where she is at the moment, under a chair somewhere no doubt.
Off for a bit of lunch.

O now I know about the cat Frank thank you.
Well the suns gone in a bit here too as a lot of white clouds have come over. First lot of bedding dry enough to iron and I am just waiting for the secon d lot to finish and that can go out.
The bl**dy camera only took 12 pics and vids last night so I did'nt get the fox. I suppose it needs new batteries again!!!!! Not cheap as it takes 12 and they ahve to be those lithiium ones, the most expensive. I wish I had had the same camera as I had the first time now as I am sure this one is'nt as clear as the last one was.
Wonder how Ann and G are getting on today? Hope they don't have too many phone calls from MIL. They need a stressless day together to have a bit of time to themselves. A little escape...........................for a few hours at least. <3 <3 <3

Afternoon all
Well I had a lovely few days at my daughters weather wise. Plenty of walks along the beach Sat and had a lovely glass of wine in one pub right by where the ferry crosses over to Southsea. Makes a change for us to have a lot of sunshine while down there
Nothing else has been done in the house. Very disappointing.. The builders grandson has been very ill and he has been consetrating on him. So that is 10 days now. We have had to let our buyers know the build may take longer. One of the walls they didn't rebuild it was there already has been waiting to be waterproofed with some special black sealant so my daughters oh has put 2 coats on that to save time. We still need the proper roof to be put on. And the floor to be levelled. Until that is done the inside walls can't be put up. I'm stressed so is my other half
We all Seem to be stressed one way of the other on here lol

We have discussed everything from the problem with the immigrants at Calais back to the Spanish Civil War !!!!!...Germany ,China ,you name it we have talked about it . I feel quite exhausted now .
Shame you didn't get pics of the Fox Mel.Did you manage to get any interesting pics?
Frank I know it is a Rag Doll cat,but what is her name?? Chris has just put the collar with bell back on Thomas .I took it off as he seems to scratch his neck a lot when the collar is on....He has gone off in a huff now :-S The sun has definitely gone now for the day.It has been so hot all the windows in every room have been open and the curtains drawn .
I hope we hear from Ann soon .

Teeth all cleaned and the hygienist was very pleased with the way I'm looking after them :-D I'm so glad we don't have any neighbours any more, our nearest is the farm the other side of the field we're running the dogs in, so they're quite a way from us. We only have two more, in the lane, both farms and well spread out! Taking Merlin out this evening. We shall take him down to the village for a potter round. This is why we have started eating at lunch time, it leaves the evenings free for 'whatever'. Washing dried and put away, that's that job out of the way for a while!!

I assume it's Thomas that has gone off in a huff not Chris LOL. We've lost the sun here and it's gone a bit cooler too. Thankfully I got all my washing dried. Glad to hear the pizza's went down well Jane and that you've had a very interesting afternoon with Fitz.
What a shame you didn't get any pics of the Fox Mel, maybe you'll be luckier next time.
It doesn't sound good with the build Pat. How did your buyers take it when you told them. I hope they understood and don't mind any delay that might happen with the sale. Maybe you could record the argument then you could get it translated online......Only joking LOL.
I've been taking a look at my husband's relatives tree and think there maybe a few mistakes. He has his daughter's first husband married to her second husband and there is a mix up with one of the children's names, so I'm having to check everything to see where everyone goes.
Going to have a bit of a break now and watch casualty with OH and Sandra while he has a bit of time at home and before he falls asleep. He gets so tired with the early morning's that sometimes when he finishes at 2pm he'll have a sleep in the afternoon.
Hope things are going alright for Ann and family......Thinking about you <3

I was in work this morning but we didn't have much sun. It is just humid now I bought another jigsaw of 4 cavaliers that I will start sometime. Yesterday I looked out some old cross stitch I had started but the holes kept jumping lol. I just needed something to do. The dogs are going for a trim etc on Monday. Our old place has closed done. I hope Millie will be alright as she is a bit feisty at times. Just cleaned all the dog hair up again.

LOL Gill ,yes Ithink Thomas went off in a huff..Chris has now also gone off (I think in a bit of a huff). We got into a converstation he wasn't comfortable with ,so off he goes.Better that way rather than ending up having a argy bargy lol...
Pat hopefully the weather will continue to be good so the roof can get going on Monday. The dogs will look smart after their grooming day Pat :-D.I'm sure that they will be able to cope with Millie if she gets feisty :-D :-D.One of my Sisters dogs is a nightmare when it comes to grooming.I think he has to have a muzzle. She has tried to do a bit of hair cutting on him ...he looks a bit of a state lol.She has given his coat a bit of a trim and managed to do one front foot. The other foot is still waiting for a trim. :-S
Busy time for you then Mandy !!!!.What would they do without you?????.I hope the weather stays good so you can all get to the coast.
No news from Ann yet today :-S am sitting here with fingers crossed that nothing drastic has happened.

Hope everything is ok with MIL as Ann has usually posted by now.
Forgot to put my third lot of washing out today. Am wondering if its going to rain tonight or should I chance it??
Yes it was a nuisance with the camera last night. I do wish I had had the same one as I had before but there is always this Christmas...................
Pat they shoudl get on now if they are back on Monday. Lets hope the builders son is well now and they can get on with the job. Once the roof is done other things will follow quite quickly.
I am missing my little glitter light on the keyboard. I keep looking for it. Silly I know but it's been there a long time till I hoovered it up.
Jane oh is a bit like that, he just walks off if we have words.

Evening All,
MIL soiled the bed just after OH left yesterday and straightaway had rung the neighbour to come and sort her out. The neighbour told her to wait for the carer who would be there soon, as they needed to eat as his wife is diabetic, so I don't suppose she liked being told to wait a little while. She said she'd had a bad night, nearly fallen out of bed...... she struggled to get in it and the bed doesn't 'suit' and she thought it was different to the hospital one she tried, but OH told her it was the one they supply. We had to dash out this morning and buy a load of fitted sheets as the carers had run out of sheets already and don't like the flat sheets MIL insisted we get and then OH had to take them to the house this afternoon along with nappy bags, so that was his day sorted again! He was hoping to catch the district nurse who was calling today, but she hadn't been by the time he left. MIL was dressed and sitting in a chair, but can't keep most of her food down and said she thought she'd be much better at home than she is. The discharge letter says the sickness and diarrhea is under control, but it wasn't, even when she was in hospital. OH has tried to persuade her to have the phone with her by her bed, but no, she doesn't want that, so it's in another room, as is the commode!! Neither seems sensible to us, but she never listens to anything we suggest anyway. :-S OH said she told him the hospital she was in was no good as they don't do nursing, just caring!! I bet the nurses would be impressed with her saying that. The weekend will be worrying as staff just aren't there to contact if needs be. The macmillan nurse is going on Monday, so OH will be there to speak to her and make sure she is told how things really are.
Those round batteries are expensive Mel and it's a shame you didn't get any fox pics. I bet he's enjoying his free suppers!
Join the stress club Pat! I hope they can soon get moving on your new place. Once the roof is on there is so much they can get on with then and the weather won't matter. It is such a shame about the builder's grandson being ill, but he needs to take someone else on to help do the work if it goes on for long as you have commitments to the people buying your house. OH used to have a chinese family living next door and it was clear they argued a lot. The chap used to just roll his eyes at OH when he was being told off. OH said he wished he knew what the arguments were about too!!
The chap who services our boiler managed to come round this afternoon and put the pipe back on. He's left it like that now as he says the liklihood of a problem is negligible. Apparently it is a combi boiler and not a condensing boiler which I thought it was. We've only had to open the tap to top the water up about 3 times in 15 years Jane. I think it's to replace the bit of steam vapour that vents outside. I had asked the man to service it as well as it was due anyway and it only cost £35 so that was good I thought. He also said the readings he took were good for it's age which is nice to know, as he said replacing it would cost £1800. He's coming back to do the cooker and fire when he's less busy. Hopefully that's it for a while now 3 things have gone wrong, OH's laptop, the phone and the boiler!
I had to get some different stuff to kill the ants today as the stuff I have used before with great success doesn't seem to be doing the job this year, even a new tin I got. They've been flying today so we had to close all the windows.
I've picked some runners today Frank!! :-)
Off to bed and to see what tomorrow brings! It's felt like Saturday to me today.
