Well I have had a tidy up in the garage, but with all the bending my back is playing up. So I have cleared a space to the freezer moved loads of stuff and stacked it high to the roof. Hope I don't need anything soon !!!
Loads stacked by the door to go in the bin. I have found THREE TUBS of VANISH that she must have bought on offer, and forgot about it.
I have half tins of paint in assorted colours, I might just as well throw them away, as we will never use it again. She will want a colour that I haven't got, typical WOMAN. !!!
I suppose the girls and Fitz will be looking over the MENU now ready to fill their lovely faces <3 <3 <3 <3 I hope you enjoyed it. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Shower and shave now. then my book, while I have the house to myself.
Sheep's Sh## pie tonight with sweetheart cabbage and broad beans and of course MY RUNNER BEANS

My runners are coming along nicely now Frank. I have picked one last week.
Been to the docs and have to go back in 6 weeks now but he was pleased with my hands and how they look now to how they were a month ago. He said he may give me a shorter dose of the cream and ointment I am on at the mo then.
I started to clear out half the double cupboard in the kitchen. I asked you to guess how many tins and things I threw away out of date. So far it is 7 tins a whole packet of special K breakfast bars, a pack of dark choc biscuits which the birds will have, a solid pack of icing and mazipan, 2 jars of chicken tonight sauce and a huge pack of shelled walnuts which had gone mouldy even though they were not open but two years old!!!

Afternoon All I'm sitting here filling still full to the brim after a great lunch with Ann and Fitz.As usual Fitz was in high spirits causing plenty of laughs.I think we must have been the noisest table in the restaurant !!!!! .We were the last customers to leave and I think they were probably waiting to reset our table for Dinner. So no cooking for me tonight .James and Chris have easy meals which just pop in the oven.I will just top and tail some of our beans for them.
The farmer has been harvesting the field across the road yesterday and today and the wind has been blowing all the dust this way :-S.I had to shut he front windows and also not hang any washing out which was a nuicance.I just put it out an hour ago so hopefully it will be dry before we get any of the rain that is heading this way.I think that is tomorrow late in the day and then Friday.
Frank i could do with one of those Vanis* pots.I finished the last of mine today.I must rememberto put it on my next list.
Was it today or yesterday Gill was going to the funeral ? It is 2 days now since we heard from her.
Pat I hope you manage to sort out your email probs. Its so annoying when things play up.I wouldn't have a clue how to fix anything on the lap top :-S
I'd best get these beans done before its too late.
Hope you got home ok Ann :-D

Evening All,
Yes, I'm still full too Jane! Couldn't eat another thing! Thank you again for the flowers........they are in a vase now, cheering the place up nicely. :-D Yes we had a very nice time and were chatting and laughing about all sorts! :-) Luckily my back wasn't too bad after a night's rest either, but I was careful with it!
You must be fed up with your hand trouble Mel, but it's good the doctor can see some improvement. I bet I will find some more out of date things when I set to again, maybe tomorrow, but you are beating me with what you have found up to now.
Oh Frank, do one job and make another eh? It's so annoying when that happens, I could do with some more Va*ish too!
I hope you soon get your emails sorted Pat. They always seem to be fiddling with things like updates and then it causes problems.
MIL seemed much more comfortable when OH saw her today. She can't eat so is on a drip and she has a morphine pump now too. She's also on antibiotics and they've done some kind of scan to see what is happening and what else can be done to keep her comfortable. She's so weak she can hardly move her arms today, but was still fretting about OH getting and sending birthday cards for her! The hospital have said they are treating her as a FAILED DISCHARGE.
I forgot all about the meteor shower last night......maybe I'll have a look tonight. I shan't be waiting outside like Chris though.

Well two no three little stuffed piglets now I see. :-D :-D :-D So glad you enjoyed your lunch, and had a good chuckle. You must feel a bit more relaxed tonight Ann. It's great that the hospital has put it down to a FAILED DISCHARGE. Will that mean if they find her (IF) a bed somewhere else, the NHS will be paying ???
Severn so far Mel, I will plumb for 12 in total. What a waste. I haven't been to the back of the tin and sauce cupboard for ages, so how many I will find I don't know. I did do Madams Crisp and Biscuit cupboard a few weeks ago and threw out lots of opened packets of biscuits and these bar things, that had gone soft. The birds had a good feast.
Well I did my deed for today. Reminding two of you that you need Vanish. !!!!
You might be right about Gill, something was mentioned about a funeral, but like most men I didn't take that much notice ;-) ;-) ;-)
That Meteor storm tonight won't be showing very well, there are clouds due this evening. I am still smiling when I think of Chris sitting out there till 1.30 am. Did Thomas keep him company ??
Well dinner was very nice this evening. I went back for seconds, and there will be enough for my lunch tomorrow.
Emmerdale has finished just Corrie. Then I can look at Foyle's War. I have always enjoyed those, and don't mind watching the replays. Then I suppose it will be bed and book again. Life get's a bore doesn't it :-D :-D :-D
Spoke to Conrad on SKYPE, It was 34 degrees last night. He has sold TWO VILLAS TODAY. So is very CHUFFED. !!!! Jan is still there till next Friday. She thinks she will go back in September for another visit. It must be nice for Conrad, otherwise he only has his own company most of the time. He is not the type to go out and mix with others. Not like me ;-) ;-) ;-) (WHO FANCIES A NIGHT CLUB TONIGHT ????)
I had the sprinkler on the night before last, but everywhere seems dry again. IF it rains tomorrow/Friday as promised, it will do a lot of good. I know we haven't had that much nice weather but it certainly has been dry. !!!
Might pop in to say goodnight later. Enjoy your evening.

Hi all
Just to let you know why I've not been on thread for a few days. I was at my mum's yesterday, my sister was visiting so we spent some time together and it was the funeral today. I'm out again tomorrow but should be back on here sometime in the afternoon.
I've just come on to check my emails, Thanks Frank for yours, I have replied. I'm really tired as it's been a long day so I'm going to bed now. I haven't read any of the posts yet, so will do that tomorrow.
Hope everyone is ok? Night NIght for now <3

I'm pleased you had a good chuckle today while you were having lunch Jane and mostly Ann. You needed that little break in the routine to get back on track. Good about MIL too so does that mean the hospital will pay for MIL's care? Oh said she would be on morphine. I am pleased she has someone around all the time to be there when she needs them. Much better than being on her own and waiting for the carers to call. The time must have passed so slowly for her.
Wonder how Maureen is? We hav'nt heard from her for a while now.
Gill it must have been very upsetting for your mum and Sandra today. I hope Rosie gives a call in tomorrow to cheer Sandra up. <3 <3
Signing out now so see you all in the morning.
Night night sleep tight.............

Morning Mel and All
I have most of the day to myself today as Chris has gone to Cambridge :-D.I think I might clean the kitchen ,entrance hall and hall floors (how exciting :-S).I got a new mop thing where you put the cleaner in the top of the handle .So you squirt and mop . I bet it is rubbish as I never can seem to find a mop or squeegee that I like.
Gill,it must have been a difficult day for you all yesterday. It seems to have been a busy few days for you.
I have washing in now .I have it on a quick wash so maybe I can get it dry outside before rain. I think a fancy a cuppa now and then I need to pick more beans.

Morning and evening my sweet things,
Not much of a start to the day, very cloudy just waiting for the rain to appear.
Ros is in the border cutting out the dead stuff. I keep seeing her head appear so I know she's alright :-D-D
Tony and Val next door had a delivery of top soil last night. A very big JOHN DEER tractor arrived with a trailer. Sam (the driver) managed to back it into Tony's drive and tip the lot. AND I MEAN A LOT !!! He's having to carry it through by the bucket load, as my barrow won't do through his garage. He will have arms dragging on the floor by the time he is finished. NOT TODAY ME THINKS :-D :-D :-D. He has asked me if I want any SOIL. :-| :-| :-|
Glad you are O.K. Gill. See we do miss you, !!! Yes, where's our Maureen. ???
Don't you get up to any mischief today Jane, while Chris is away. ;-) ;-) ;-)
For some unknown reason I only slept for about TWO HOURS last night. My little brain box would not go to sleep. !! I am now feeling I could sleep for a week. :-S :-S :-S. I wonder what's happened to my time clock again. ??
I have sent some photo's of the cat. Yours are on there way Mel. <3 <3 <3 I keep forgetting you as I don't often send things to you !!!
Going to have a nice relaxing shower now, and get shaved.
See you later.

Morning all and Frank and Jane and evening Kim,
Wet out there today and I did'nt see any shooting stars last night as it was cloudy.
Washing is all ready to go on but with the rain I am wondering if I should bother to turn the machine on.
I have the Dyson man coming this afternoon to test the hoover again but when I got the filter out yesterday to wash it it was quite bunged up so I am hoping it was'nt just that that was making it put the leccy out!!!!!!!!
Must clear the kitchen up a bit now so it's tidy for when he calls.
See you later............ :-D

Forgot to mention my Wisteria is blooming again, quite a lot of heads over the garage roof.
I had a phone call from a Dyso# Service Company the other day, offering a home service for the Dyso# for £14.99 inclusive of VAT. Not bad price, I just wonder if that's where it ends. You know the old story, it needs this, it needs that. Before you know it, It's cost you £100.00. :-D :-D :-D It's working fine, so I will leave well alone !!!
All showered just having a sit, then I will shave and get dressed.
No activity next door, so he might have packed up for the day. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Mel has your Dyson man been yet? Frank that doesn't sound bad for a service for the Dyson. But as you say they might get you spending more on something or another. We have never had an offer for that service. The wind is picking up here ,but no rain so far.I still haven't cleaned the floors as I couldn't work out how to fit the mop bit to the stick !!!!!.In the end I rang Fitz as I was getting exasperated .So he came up at lunch time and after 20minutes or so managed to get the thing to fit.It was quite a job I can tell you. So Fitz ended up staying for a bit of lunch. He has just gone and Chris has just got home from Cambridge :-D He bought me 2 more of these very difficult colouring books......I will never get to finish them in my lifetime !!!!!!!
Frank Puss is such a pretty cat.I love Ragdoll cats. She looks like she has the colouring of a Siamese Cat. Thomas has been in nearly all day (unheard of) but has now woken up and gone off on one of his jaunts. He didn't wake me until almost 5am today :-D
I think we might have a few spits and spots of rain starting so have got the washing in .It's almost dry. Mel have you had lots of rain now? Did you do the washing?
Chris said the art exhibiton he went to see was ok but the place was so hot it was really uncomfortable. He had a nice lunch so will not need feeding tonight :-D.i will just be doing Sausages and Potato Wedges for James and me.He will have Spicy Italian Sausages ,and I will have plain Pork ones. I have to take Thomas to the Vets tomorrow for his second jab for vaccinations.I don't think he will be impressed being shoved into the cat carrier again lol I can see it is now raining more than spits and spots....Thomas is back in LOL..I better put the litter tray down now as he isn't going to be keen on going out again .

Here I am hooverless. The man was here for about well over an hour. Oh had had some cornflakes but I had'nt had anything and he arrived so there was no time to do lunch. He changed the head to a new one again and it still knocked the leccy out. He had the ball apart and took out another filter which I did'nt know was there and that I could wash that one too. He changed something in the ball after taking it all apart and right off the body of the vac. Put it all back together again and tried it ......out went the leccy. He had the switch out of the handle bit and replaced that with a new one tried it again and out went the leccy. So more came apart and he tried the wire to the switch.....no luck there either so we then tried the old brush head which I still had!!!! turned it on and it went for a very short time and then out went the leccy. It goes when it is upright so you can use the pipe without the brushes going round but the min you put your foot on the thing to make it hoover out goes the leccy. He rang a main engineer and told him what he had done and he had'nt any suggestions so he ended up in taking it away with him. He said he was going to try it at home and see if it did it there but I bet it won't......... They are told to try it in a neighbours house but we don't really have any close neighbours so thats why he took it home. He is going to ring me and then come back next Tuesday.
So then we had some lunch great big bacon sarnies............................and here I am.
HOOVERLESS!!!!!!!! :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

LOL Mel ,bet you are quite relieved you can have a break still from the hoovering !!!! Have you got your little Henry you can use? Does that one knock out the leccy ?
I wondered where Chris had disappeared to..Just found him fast asleep on the top of the bed !.I went up to empty the bin in the ensuite and fill the cupboard with new Loo Rolls. He woke up and said I was being a pain :-S :-S..I think he is still catching up on his sleep from the other night out in the garden !!
Frank that sounds like heck of a lot of soil next door had delivered !!!! What are they needing all that for? Bet you feel a bit cream crackered after just a couple of hours kip last night. Thomas is being a bit of a pain at he moment .He's not keen on the rain but won't settle indoors :-S

It is so dull and miserable here and its raining and I am late corning the chickens now and then have to find something I can cook forr dinner. The bantams hav'nt been out today either. I usually let them out at 5pm so they have a couple of hours round the garden.
Saw the young fox again last night down Prickly Hollow where I chuck some dried food down in the long grass for the hogs. Now oh has made the big ring of sheep netting it can'nt get at the hogs food.

Evening All,
We had just a few spits of rain here and it stopped again! The garden could really do with some now. I've watered the wall pots front and back and the houseplants.
We could have chatted on here in the night then Frank. I woke before 3.00am feeling quite weird. I'm pretty sure it must be underlying anxiety as it's happened before, so I did the breathing thing and walked around the bedroom a bit and then sat watching the telly and the feeling gradually went off. OH said I should have woken him, but he really needs his own sleep and rest now without worrying about me. I feel fine again today. I think the kitty visitor is lovely......I wouldn't want to give her back!! I could do with Ros here.....I need to do some deadheading too. I wonder what your neighbour is doing with all that soil??
I've been trying to get post redirected here for the in laws. The trouble is MIL cannot sign the form now and most of their post is in her name and it would take another 8 weeks to get her POA registered. We'll just have to do the 30 mile trip to their house to fetch it now and then, as we'll need to keep an eye on the house anyway. OH said MIL was a bit brighter today and liked her birthday cards people had sent. OH has been to their building society this morning to lodge the POA so he can pay their bills from their joint account .He's doing the same at their bank tomorrow. He also went and fetched all the financial stuff from their house to sort out, did jobs like clearing the fridge and took 4 carrier bags and 2 boxes full of old medications to the chemist to dispose of. He said it was a wonder they didn't take the old ones by mistake as he found them in 3 different rooms! I'm getting her extra nighties she wants tomorrow. It's all go!!
I've also booked my car in for it's MOT (doesn't it come round quickly?). I shall find out then if my fogging up headlamp needs replacing.
Any joy with your new place Pat? Have they managed to get the roof sorted yet?
I wonder how Jane got on with her mop! lol. I've never found one that is as good as it makes out!
So you've foiled Mr Fox Mel! He won't be nicking the hedgehog food any more. What a palaver with your Dyson. I didn't realise you had to wash the filters on them at first. I ended up watching an on line video to see how to do it with my two.
I'm joining my beading pals tomorrow morning for a cuppa and chat before class starts next month, so that should be nice for a few hours.
