DON'T PANIC MR MAINWARING., I'M HERE.
Good afternoon to the fair folks of the thread. :-D :-D :-D
Third day may be luckier for me,
Yes, I did the pipe boxing in, and Ros was very impressed. No accidents !! The big trouble was. The original pipe clamps were protruding, so the clips I put on wouldn't clip to the boxing. So I had to remove them all 16 and replace them with the new ones. One hell of a job close to the floor as I had to get on my knees. My it was so hot, the sweat was dripping off me. I went straight into a lovely shower, just as Ros came home. I asked if she wanted to join me ??? YOU KNOW THE ANSWER. the 2nd word was OFF. I see you have all been busy chattering away. Glad to see Iris is staying with us. !!!
No Liz, I am not ducking out of the way. I never do anything wrong!!!, so why should I :-D :-D :-D :-D
I Mowed the back lawn yesterday morning as there was the threat of rain, then showered and walked down to see the match. BORING MAN, UTD. V Newcastle. Tony bought me home, When he opened the car it was 43 degrees inside. I thought I was going to pass out.
Ros had got me a nice prawn roll with a Morriso#s salad. She then went out to paint the garage door. Got it all done when down came the rain. Fortunately it didn't get on the door. She is out there putting the 2nd coat on now.
Iris you made me smile about your mothers bosom, before I was born my eldest brother breed Canaries, and it was said my Mum use to keep the babies down her bosom to keep them warm.
The pegs my Mum used were the gypsy pegs. Cut from sticks in the woods with a little metal band round the top. She would buy them with a little bit of "LUCKY HEATHER" when ever she needed them. They lasted her for years,
Last night I sat up till midnight, had a short read and laid on top of the bed. I woke three or four times in the night, but was still on top this morning.
The cloud is building this morning as is the wind, so I'm not sure what we might get later.
Do we call you Mrs MUD this morning Jane, I can just imagine the whole household awake and little Thomas fast asleep, I bet he thought "what are these silly people doing" :-D :-D :-D :-D
Roast leg of park tonight, I have done all the veg, just the Yorkshire and Cheese sauce to make !!!
Iris, If you are broad minded, and also like nice views/pictures. If you pm me with your email address I will add you to my list. I think the girls will agree there are some very good bits that I send through. PLEASE don't feel obliged too if you prefer not to.
Well I have got this fat without any trouble today, so I won't push my luck !!
See you later.

Afternoon All
My word it is so sticky now.Just sitting here and I am all sweaty.Mind you I have taken Hannah to the station, opped into Tes**,hung the washing out and ironed a couple of shirts. That is it now until the oven goes on later
I use my 'Happy Valley ' to keep my pack of Extra Strong mints in when I go to the cinema :-D :-D..It saves me having to keep digging in my handbag for them.So having a bit of a cleavage does come in handy LOL
You did do a lot of work yesterday Frank and in all that heat.Well done you :-D
It is really overcast here now.I would really love some rain (but not until the washing is dry).It might not even dry in this humidity.
It was nice seeing Hannah this weekend. It will probably be October now the next time we see her.As once she gets back from Italy we then go . She goes next Sunday with 16 others in the wedding party. All on the same flight. For the first week Hannah and her girlfriends including Bride to be are having a Villa or Apartment and then the next 3 days after that it will be the wedding and celebrations. It all sounds really nice.
Frank ,Thomas slept on the landing last night for some reason. It was probably cooler there .I had the big tower fan on all night in the bedroom but it didn't make a lot of difference. If I have it on too high it makes my eyes all stingy and watery and then by the morning they are all crusty :-S
I have 2 Chicken Crowns to cook.We had them the other week Memphis BBQ Style and they are really tasty. But One Crown barely does 3 people and there will be 4 of us.Jess goes home this evening.
I reckon the rain will be coming up from Mel and Liz.

Afternoon all,
Lovely sunny day here ,there is quite a wind but it's still really hot in the sun, last night in bed was awful it was so stuffy and hot i woke up several times in the night because of the heat. Hubby has been laying some brick pavers round the front lawn to give it a nice edge ,it will be better when we cut the grass as he can run the wheel of the mower on the paving and get a nice edge to the lawn . At the moment he is watching the race .
Family all came this morning ,little Lewis is now sitting up really well on his own and likes to play with the toys on the floor ,he has two bottom teeth and the top ones are nearly through too, he has such a cheeky smile bless him. Chelsea is ok after having her tooth out ,the tooth fairy left her some money and of course grand dad had to give her some too.
How is Hannah's foot now ? she will have to rest up and get it better so she can get into the high heels for the wedding. At least they will be sure of good weather for the big day, and it's nice for them to have the time together before the wedding to get a nice tan so they look good in the photo's .
Think i will paint my toe nails now , just got to decide what color to have them.

Just started to rain here now .Not heavy but enough for me to dash out and get the washing in. That is good Chelsea is fine after having the tooth out and that she is very happy with the tooth fairy and Grandad :-D :-D
Hannah's foot seems a lot easier today. We have had her sat with ice packs on and elevating her foot. She just needs to keep doing that now as much as she can until she goes .She will be in Italy for a week before the actual wedding so hopefully by then it should be ok.She just needs to be sensible and not go to the Gym.I think she said she might just do swimming which sounds the best idea as it will be no weight bearing. Any more pics of Lewis ? I bet he looks so differnt now with a couple of teeth :-D
I painted my toe nails this morning too.But as Hannah said it wasn't the right colour for toes.I need something a bit brighter.
I realised just now that I have no Potatoes for dinner. So I am sending James off hot footing it to get some before Tes** shuts at 4pm.He isn't impressed LOL

Glad Frank has posted and by what he has said I don't think he would have had time to post with all the things he achieved yesterday.
The sun came out here but I have only just remembered to put my washing out from yesterday. We have had loads of rain though. All the chicken pans and feeding dishes were full of water when I fed them this morning.
Little Lewis is growing fast now then Mandy, two teeth through and two to go and sitting up also. <3

Just finished a really scrummy lunch! OH did the whole meal from picking and preparing the veg, to cooking it, serving it up, and afterwards clearing it all away, filling the dishwasher, washing, drying and putting away any surplus washing up!! It was roast lamb, potatoes, and two veg, gravy and mint sauce with mint from the garden! It was flipping lovely! I've been watching 'A life in Squares' on catch up, so I was too busy to get a meal!!! We're now both about to have a snooze! Sun's out and it's not a bad afternoon, so we should be able to sit out.

Afternoon nit picker Auntie Mel, You missed I got this FAT instead of FAR :-D :-D :-D
Ros got the garage door painted again. I was just about to get the mower out to do the front lawn when it started to rain. We had a nice steady downpour for a good hour, and it has cooled the air a bit now. Still looks as though we will get more.
How has little Lewis been with cutting his teeth.?? some poor little souls have a bad time of it.
It was my Dads birthday yesterday he would have been 129. Still missed and loved dearly.
I see madam has left the back gate unlocked. I have to checked on her all the time. !!!
Julia and Harvey spoke to Ros yesterday on SKYPE. she asked have you let the cat out yet ?? No way said Ros, she might decide to do a runner, and we would be responsible , We would never live with ourselves if that happened.
That was a terrible flying accident yesterday. My personal feeling is, "are they really safe anymore", with these planes that are over 65 years old like the HUNTER. We had those on one of the stations I was at, and there were runway over runs then, but mostly pilot errors. ( It was a training station) I could make your hair curl with some of the stories :-D :-D :-D Time to put the oven on to heat up for my joint of PORK. LOL Mel I hope Lewis gets more than TWO MORE TEETH !!!LOL LOL
Might see you later.

Afternoon All,
It rained just a bit here right after I put some washing out......so I've left it out now. The sun is shining again so I still think it will dry.
I bet Chelsea soon forgot having the tooth out when she saw what the tooth fairy and grandad had for her!! I expect not so little Lewis will be itching to get on his feet soon so he can join in and cause havoc for the other children. Many is the time my brother and sister would be into my things if they could once they were crawling/walking. I wouldn't be impressed to find one of my books with creased pages and spidery scrawl over the pages. I can hear mum's voice now, 'It's your own fault for leaving them lying about'. Well, how was I to know when they were being 'let loose on the rampage!'lol She didn't think it funny when they got hold of her lippy though or got the saucepans all out of the cupboard!
I thought just the same Mandy about the girls getting a bit of colour for the photos! Times sure have changed with hen/stag dos and weddings abroad now. My hairdresser recently went off for a week's holiday abroad on her own and thought nothing of it. Not sure I would want to do that. Your lawn will look nice with the pavers round the edge. When we had a lawn we had a concrete edge for the mower to run over so they didn't need trimming.....saves a lot of work.
Pat I bet you are fed up with the builder, I know I would be. You'd think he'd want to get on so he gets his payments quicker. It sounds like your dogs don't mind the chihuahua then. They can be feisty little dogs too.
Frank, I'm so used to OH doing any locking up since he retired I am always double checking I've done these things when he's out. I nearly forgot to lock the gate the other day when the gas man went. :-S Ros did well getting 2 coats of paint on the door in this hot weather. I don't think I could have done.
Liz, my mouth was watering at your roast lamb with homemade mint sauce, especially if one of the veg was runners!! lol.
We should know Tuesday night whether the boiler will be fitted Wednesday and Thursday or Thursday and Friday. I've just realised that he will need to go in all the rooms after to bleed the radiators so the clearout will be on hold while I do a bit of cleaning and tidying up!!! I had the cobweb brush out this morning and went all through. I suppose I'd better get some biscuits in too.......that will please OH! :-)

Pat that Chicken is lovely isn't it :-D :-D :-D :-D.Have you had it before? I think your Builder is just trying to drag it out now Pat,and make any excuse :-S.I wouldn't be happy at all.On my 'High Horse' comes to mind.
Don't you get too hot with 2 dogs on the bed? My Sister has 3 sometimes :-S :-S
I am going outside again to get away from James and Jess and them having all this talk about where to go for a few days in Germany.I feel like I need to bang their heads together right now !!!!

LIZ I live in hope LOL But can't see anything happening in the near future .Jess still has another year to do for her Masters so not earning and James really need a big hike in his pay to be able to afford to move out.So no change here for some time by the look of it.
As for the girls and tans.I think most of them use these moisturising creams with something that gradually makes the skin look slightly tanned.Gone are the days of Sun Beds and Spray tans. But yes a week in the Italian sunshine will just be good :-D
Ann I always have a fit when I realise that the men /man need to go around every room to check the radiators. But when I apologise for any dust /muck and grot the answer is always the same....They have seen FAR WORSE :-D
Mel I did reply to your email :-D.I think the onions should be fine .He will be keeping a good eye on them.
James and Jess have eaten and it is almost time for James to take her to the station I will dish up 'our' dinner then. Just waiting for the weather forecast now on Countryfile.

Well thanks for that Liz !!! :-P....I have even heard it can go on until the 40's !!!!! I think the best thing for us to to do is to move to a one bed place . James will be 30 in January so I will just give him a bit longer .It would be nice now to just have the place to ourselves, but also I know James would love not to be living here.It just isn't feasible for him to move out at the moment.
Mandy I must have missed the hedge on Countryfile .Dishing up dinner then I think . I am just getting myself organised , and ready to watch Casualty again.I think tonight is going to be quite something .Is it just me and Gill who watch that programme?

Sorry Jane, I don't mean to wind you up!!! I'm sure they'll find somewhere when they feel able, it's not easy these days, but it is nice having the place to yourselves! A friend of mine's mother used to say after a visit from friend and offspring, ' Come again soon, but not too soon'!! I know the feeling!!!
