"All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" Sorry Mel, couldn't resist it !!!!
Ann, I just can't believe TWO people could collect so many of the same THINGS. Were they Cleptermaniacs (sp) ??? All these music centres, Couldn't you pass them on to a local youth club or OAP club??
You will never believe what Ros has bought for JJ a Reindeers outfit for a dog. Antlers and all. :-D :-D I can't see him being allowed to dress up in that. He won't let her.
Dinner was very nice, I can feel it sticking to my ribs ;-) ;-) I bet that has put a pound or two on me.
At last I have a scab forming on my finger. Thanks for all the advise Girls. xxx
Paul O' Grady is on again tonight 8.30 pm I do enjoy his trips to Battersea. I didn't see the first episode of the 9.00 pm prog. so no doubt I will read my book while that is on.
I see tomorrow is going to be like today Jane/Ann. Miserable and damp. It's about time you sent your sunshine up to us Mel !!
Going for a mooch round the web for an hour or so while the soaps are on.
Might get back later.

Evening all,
It's been raining here too for most of the day ,it was only dry for about an hour just before lunch and when the sun came out it was quite warm .
Yes Mel Lacey's hog was the same color as the one i knitted for you ,i'am doing the one for the school in that color too. What a shame the Heron got to your gold fish ,did it have a go at any of the big fish ? That's not to bad then having three teeth out instead of the six all at once .
Hubby and i have a check up tomorrow at the dentist ,i wonder if i will need a little work done as one tooth on the top right has been a bit sensitive at times . And i agree with Ann the best bit is the walking out !! LOL
Jane i have had that zigzag flashing lights in my eyes , i find if i sit with my eyes closed for a while it passes ,i wondered what the heck it was too when it first happened as it was so bright , son has bad Migraines ,they were getting so bad he couldn't work so he now has tablets from the doctor .
Perhaps you should try the vaseline on your finger Frank it seems to have worked for Mel . Hope you've enjoyed the suet onion roll ,it sounds quite tasty .
I wonder what plants Gill has bought today .
I have little seed pods on my Canna plant two have dried out and when i opened them up the seeds are like little dark brown peas ,so i have put them in a pot to see if they will come up. There are lots more seed pods on the plant but they haven't dried out yet they are still quite green ,but if they dry out if any one wants some seed let me know , this Canna has green leaves with red flowers ,not the bronze colored leaved ones .

I hope you don't have indegestion tonight then Frank after al that lovely Suet :-S My dinner was a success :-D Three empty plates :-D
Mandy it is horrible isn't it to get the flashy zigzag things. It must be quite a common thing .I'm just glad I know what it is now.
Well Thomas and I have been playing again. He has had the Devil in him this evening. I am hoping now that I have tired him out.I caught him trying to jump up to reach the toggle thing at the side of the blind on the big window on the stairs just now. That was about 3ft above him !!!.He has eaten 3 small pouches of food ....so I am guessing there has been no mice on the menu today. The Unforgotten is just about to start ,so I will say Night Night now x

I have counted 16 fish in the pond but they have all gone sown the bottom and not having the filter going on that pond cos oh was using it on the pool when his fish were in there, it has got quite murky and greenish so they can hide down there. It seems the heron stood on one of the plant baskets as it has squashed the plant where it stood or landed.
Jane I used to get migrain like that with the lights but no headache and sometimes numbness in strange parts of the body like up your little finger or down the side of your foot but onoly ever on one side. I used to lay on the bed with my head hanging over the side that used to help. Or put my legs up the wall with my head lower than the rest of my body. Could'nt do that now though.

Morning all
Dull day here, lots of clouds and no sun at all, quite cold too :-( :-( At least yesterday was sunny and dry, although just as cold as today though.
Well, yesterday started off bad, we went all the way to a garden centre we know the other side of Chester which is normally really good, only to find they had hardly any plants and what they had weren't up to much so we didn't get anything in the end. It's only a small family run business in the grounds of their house. The plants are very cheap and normally they have lots of good bargains. It could be because of the time of year, we've never been there this late in the year. They have what they call a 50p shop there too, so I managed to get a few bits of shopping there, just general stuff for the house. Sandra spotted a kitten calendar so I got her that as a stocking filler. She writes all the birthday and anniversary dates on them so she's happy.
After that we ended up at the Outlet Village in Ellesmere Port, again we couldn't find anything we liked, apart from a coat OH fancied, but unfortunately they didn't have his size. So we went onto Ellesmere Port itself and I ended up buying lots of things there, including a lovely coat for OH and lots of other things for him for Christmas, so that's him finished. We also found a CD player for Sandra for Christmas, she said she'd like one but in pink, I didn't think we'd find one but there happened to be the perfect one in As*a. You should of seen the look on her face, she was made up with it, I also found her a wordsearch book with 365 word searches in, one for each day of the year. She loves them but they are quite hard to find with the bigger ones in, normally they have two or three small ones on each page and she's not to keen on those. So that's another stocking filler sorted for her.
I finally found the cream twigs I was after with the light on, so that pleased me and I ended up buying lots of sweets for Christmas too which have now been put away for the big day. Our boot was full to the brim after all the shopping and I was happy with all our purchases. OH is going to take me to a local garden centre on his next day off so I can get my plants then. I'm after some more winter Primula's. They did have some in the garden centre in Chester but they didn't look that good I know they are much better around here so I thought I'd wait and get those instead.
We finally got to MIL's around 6pm and spent an hour or so with her, that was nice as we haven't seen her for a while. She told us that OH's aunt and uncle are having a party on 31st October for their Ruby wedding anniversary so OH is hoping to get the day off so we can go. It'll be nice to catch up with all the family again, we haven't seen much of them since OH started this job as he works most days and doesn't get in until around 9pm.....bit late to visit anyone at that time of night.
After we left MIL we took Sandra to another Garden centre near us so she could see all the Christmas trees lit up, she loved that. We don't buy plants very often from there as it's very expensive, plus it was dark by the time we got there so you couldn't see any of the plants outside anyway. We were hoping to grab a bite to eat there but they didn't have much and were closing, they only really had snacks available, so we didn't bother. We did ask when the Christmas night was on and it's the 12th November so OH is booking that day off as we love to go there. They have carol singers, food, mulled wine and even a snow machine outside, Sandra loves it and we go every year, so that's something else to look forward to.
As we were leaving MIL's we couldn't believe how many people have got Christmas lights in their gardens already, we spotted three within five minutes of leaving......I like Christmas lights in garden but in October????? Even that's a bit early for me and I love Christmas LOL.
By the time we finally got home it was 8pm we had dinner very late and watched Paul O'Grady then the second Apprentice with Alan Sugar. We were all so tired we went to bed after that, so I didn't get a chance to post on here yesterday after all. It was a very tiring day but it made such a lovely change from staying indoors all the time. <3
It looks like you were all chatty on here yesterday.
Glad to hear your friends op went well Frank. Hope your finger is feeling a bit better today.
Sorry to hear about your fish though Mel :-( Are the rest of them ok and safe? That was good that you only have to have 3 teeth out now, hopefully your mouth will be healed in time for Christmas.
A clean cat Jane means good fortune, so if you win the lotto remember us all won't you? :-D :-D :-D
Sorry to hear about your eye sight it must of been so worrying for you at the time, at least you know what it is, so have peace of mind now.
So it was back to all the sorting again yesterday Ann, have you got much more to do? It sounds like they really liked to hoard things, doesn't it?
My nan was the same, so once my mum and her sisters got through it all my mum sorted her place out saying she didn't want my sister and I to go through the same situation. The problem was mum got rid of almost everything. It's good for us when the time comes to empty the place, but it looks a bit bare now for mum. She seems to like it that way, so I suppose if she's happy then we're happy too.
I hope it's not to much longer for you and Gordon now and that you'll soon have the skip arriving, which will be the light at the end of the tunnel for you both then ;-) ;-) <3
The Canna sounds lovely Mandy, I'd like some seeds if you're still offering, thanks, I love red flowers they are my favourite ;-) ;-)
I'm chatting with Michelle online at 11am and I have some washing I'd like to do before then. OH needs his uniform doing. I wasn't here yesterday to do it and he'll need it for tomorrow, so I'd better get on.
See you all later <3

Morning all and evening Kim,
Gosh Gill what a long post but by the sounds of it you all enjoyed your day out very much. So Sandra likes pink soes she? A new cd player is going to be a lovely present for Christmas.
Weathers not so good here today dry but the skies are a bit grey and cloudy. Oh is on Heron watch. He is out there ready to scare it away if it comes again.
When we last went to our garden center in Launceston they were getting the Christmas things out but nobopdy round here has lights on yet that I know of. October is a bit too early I think as it spoils the magic of Christmas.

Morning All
Gill you did have a long day out yesterday .What a pity you couldn't find any decent plants but at least you managed to get a lot of lovely Xmas things.Sandra will love her pink CD player :-D
Mel when we had our fishpond I always knew when the Heron had been as there was a greasy kind of film on the water :-S :-S.I hope yours doesn't manage to get any more fish.
What a Grey day.It seems so dark and seems like it is going to saty like this all day.I might get there going later just to cheer the place up.But first I have to go out and buy a new Kitchen Bin.The lid won't stay down on this one :-S. So that is where I am off now. BBL

morning Mel
Yes I was surprised to see the Christmas stuff in the garden centre I thought it might of been Halloween first, but Sandra was made up seeing it all. The place was empty by the time we got there so she had a really good look around and was so excited.......bless her.
Hope the Heron stays away and leaves your fish alone. We had one around here when we had our water feature on once, I think it was the sound of the water that attracted it as we don't have any fish, so it couldn't of been that.
I'm chatting with Michelle online at the moment and have just heard another message come through so I'd better go and read it.

Morning Lads and Lassies, Evening Kim,
My you did have a long say out yesterday Gill. I bet you all were wacked out, no wonder you had an early night. What time did you wake up this morning ??
Our friend who had fish, started loosing them to the Heron, so he sat and waited with his GUN and managed to get it. (AGAINST THE LAW) but with fish valued at over £100.00 each, what would you have done.
I see some GERMAN hunter has just killed a 40 odd year old Elephant. I would like to set him free and chase him down with a rifle, I guarantee I wouldn't miss !!!
Jane, Yes indigestion got hold of me last night, but it was worth it :-D :-D :-D But not the after effects this morning. Turning on the tap comes to mind ;-) ;-) ;-)
Windy morning here, but at least it's dry for the time being. Oh how pleased I am that I got the lawns done earlier this week.
We never put our lights up for Christmas until 1st week in December. As we are away for Christmas and New Year, we might not even bother this year. We will see what Madam decides, she's the boss when it comes to those.
What are you all up to today. No plans here, Ros will no doubt go to Tesc# as she isn't seeing Martine this Saturday. Ros is going to a sewing exhibition Saturday morning, with Sid's wife Valerie.
We should have Jan here for Sunday, but she hasn't confirmed yet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMUEL D IRVINE <3 <3 <3
Heron,s been down again and has left me fish scales on the decking.
Have done a bit of tidying up and found a battery for oh to put our scarer on. It shoot water out when the censor feels a little movement or heat in front of it. It looks like a wicked birds head. He has also put my camera out there. Now lets see if it takes just stills for him. I did ask him ages and ages ago to look at it for me and change the length of video as he won't let me do any of that. So we will see if it works for him!!

We put our decorations and tree up a week before you Frank, on my birthday, I put on the Christmas songs and Sandra and I decorate the tree. Last year we had two to do, as I had a small one for Sandra put in her room. It's the first time she's had a Christmas tree in her room and loved it, so she's doing it again this year.
We are going to do some Christmas baking together as well, but not in November though LOL a few days before Christmas should be about the right time. Sandra is looking forward to baking some things herself, probably some small cakes and biscuits. She normally watch's me make everything so it'll be nice for her to join in this year. I got her some oven gloves yesterday so she's all ready and waiting. She chose the oven gloves herself and they have pink flowers on them.......she likes pink, incase you hadn't guessed :-D :-D :-D :-D
I recorded our soaps last night so Sandra and I are about to watch them all now before they come back on later. I noticed today that Sk* have changed one of their movie channels to a Christmas one and Sandra wants me to record pretty much every single film on there, so I need to start clearing the planner. Luckily we've seen quite a few of them before so I don't think they'll be to many to record for her. I still think it's a bit early for Christmas but she's really enjoying herself. The only reason I bought all OH's presents yesterday is because he hardly gets any time off work and the few bits I got for Sandra was so she didn't feel left out. The CD player was a surprise, as I wasn't expecting to find a pink one. She's still smiling about it today...bless her.
Better go and watch the soaps now, Sandra is waiting BBL <3

Evening All Well I got the new waste bin..what a price :-S It is the same as the last one but I got that one when it was half price. This one was £70 !!!!!!.This time I have made sure that the proof of purchase is now in the filing cabinet with guarantees as it has a ten yr guarantee.I really oject to paying lots for something as horrible as a bin :-S.
What a dark day it has been. Not a glimmer of any brightness at all.Decided not to have the fire but turned the heating on instead.
David I just wondered what I missed and see that it would have been your Dads Birthday.I am sorry but I didn't see your post <3
I woke this morning at just after 6 when I heard a loud noise(like something had been knocked over)....the culprit was Thomas :-| :-|,but I couldn't find anything out of place. He was full of it, crouching half way down the stairs ready to pounce on me.The tops of my feet are already covered in scratches where he has 'got' me.
James is off to Jesses again this weekend ,so just the 2 of us here.Hannah will be busy beginning packing and taking beds/and other things apart ready for the move on the 30th.I really don't know if all the furniture the girls have will fit in the new place. But I suppose they won't really know until they get in.They are doing a lucky dip thing to sort out who has which bedroom as one has a balcony,so they feel this is the fairest way to do it.They have booked a Van and 2 men to move them.
I am watching Jeremy Kyle !!!! much to Chris's disgust lol.Honestly some of the people he has on that show leaves me speechless ,but I do enjoy it sometimes :-D
Gill did you have a good chat with Michelle today?I hope so <3It is good to be able to keep in tough via the computer isn't it.Hannah and I often use Whats Ap for short messages .
Any more news on your pal today Frank?Hopefully he has now been moved to the ward.
You know I said I never buy anything for Xmas until at least November...well this morning I bought the Big tin of chocs. They are now hidden away, otherwise someone will find them and start dipping in :-S
Frank I couldn't bare to watch the thing about that poor Elephant this morning.I just can't understand why in this day and age people can still be doing this :-S :-S :-S It's shocking :-( :-(
Best get some grub on the go.

Your welcome David.
What have you been up to today?
I have just fed the chickens and raked some leaves up in the orchard as I want some leaf mould for the garden. I did it last year but only did the red leaves off the tree by the ponds and they don't rot down very well being the sycamore family so now I have a mixture of apple leaves and sycamore.
