It took me a long while today to go up the High St and then to Morrisons. I hav'nt been back that long and have unpacked everything and had a COT oh made me.
That is an unusual name Jane and I have never heard of it before either.
We've had a beautiful day here today just like a summers day and I even went out without a heavy jumper on and a sleeveless instead of a coat. Got the three scripts from Boots and then went up the High St and in the Poundstretcher shop where I treated myself to a new bird feeder with four branches with oak leaves on and eight hanging points fo r outside the kitchen window as the one there is rusty and its the oldest one I have so that can go somewhere else. As long as I can see up the garden ok when I am washing up or at the sink for any length of time it will be ok. It even has a bird cutpout on the top of the pole and the pole is in a sort of black and bronze colour and the four branches are green. It was only £9.99. I call that a bargan.
Frank you may find that the company you got in touch with will rotavate your little plot for you. Do you have to walk backwards with your little rotavater?
Mandy a plastic bottle to play with when he has all those expensive toys you bought him!! they love the noise they make son't they and they are so light to play with too and they bounce well.

We have had a lovely day here too, after taking Amy for her walk I did some gardening mostly pulling up weeds which seem to appear overnight.
That is an unusual name Jane but she may well like being different when she's older at least when she goes to school she should be the only one called by that name. I hope Zenith are able to move those marks for you, they certainly give good service.
Frank I hope you and Ros are on good terms again. do you think she is doing too much for everyone else so she is overtired and this has made her irritable. At least you seem to do more than most husbands do and I'm sure she appreciates you.
Mandy, Max is just like little tots who prefer the boxes rather than the toys inside.
Mel your bird feeder sounds a real bargain buy perhaps it will attract the blue tit
Toby has just launched himself on my lap so as he has a habit of walking on the key board I will post this before I lose it.

Not everyone David, we've got wooden frames, but then we live in a log cabin! Been a beautiful day here as well. Ian's done a lot of planting in the greenhouse, also mowing with the ride on!! I've been doing my usual task of weeding!! We're growing dwarf runners this year. Not sure how they'll turn out, but no bean canes to fiddle about with will be nice!! We rescued a huge bumble bee in the greenhouse, I think it was grateful!!!

O I meant to say I had let the banties out and they were quite happy scratchin gin the corner of the back garden where I could keep my eye on them and oh was outside having a cig suddenly the bungalow shook to a very low noise and a huge helicopter flew right over the garden and oh said it could have only been a hundred feet in the air. You could see all the bits underneath it clearly but the poor bantams scattered to the four winds all over the garden. I think they thought their time was neigh and a huge bird was coming to get them. It took them ages to get back to normal and group again.

Morning my beauties and evening to our Kim,
Got up this morning at 6.30 to a nice frost. Ros came out about 7.45
She has to take Carolyn to the Hospital from a blood count. John has decided to go along as well. Ros said she can't be in his company for most of the day, while they do the tests and then Carolyn sees the doctor. I've told her to tell them I NEED YOU AT HOME. and for them to ring when they want to come home. It wuill be worth the double trip, rather than Ros getting herself all worked up being with him all day.
I'm still smiling over the banties and the Helicopter. ;-) ;-) I bet they thouht their time was up. We get those big double bladed type come over here in formation of three or four. The ground really shakes. I have no idea where they come from or where they are going.
I have just booked the Canel side restaurant for Sunday lunch for the pair of us, so J & C will have to make other arrangrments for getting fed. Yes Jane you are right. They could easy get one of these companies to supply their meals. BUT THAT WOULD COST MONEY !!!
The other morning when Carolyn rang in floods of tears, he decided to get someone to take him to buy a new Lawnmower.. When Ros bought Carolyn back from the doctors, all John could talk about was his MOWER. Not that he will ever use it, as he has a man in to do the garden.
We have a Blackbird nesting in the front garden hedge. The pair are taking the old stringy bits from the palm we have in the centre of the lawn. Ros has hung some fat balls close by, and sprinkled a load of meal worms. They are likely to get peckish with all the house building <3 <3 <3 <3 I will have to keep an eye on the Neighbours cats. Water pistol to the ready ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
How did Fitz find his daughter and the new baby last night Jane ?? all's well I hope.
Yes Anne, she is very busy looking after everyone else, and still does all the things a wife has to do, apart from preparing and cooking diinner, which is my domain. On top of looking after these people, she does the gardening, sewing these covers for the babies, and choir practise, Stitchery Do. On top of this, there is the shopping, washing and ironing. No wonder she's tired in the evenings. I must try to be more considerate. SMACKED LEGS FOR FRANKIE BOY ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Time for my shower and shave, see you later folks.

Frank I don't know about the bantams I thought my time had come.
Oh informed me this morning that he needs a Sock Maiden to put his socks on for him in the morning!!! It made me laugh.......I said to him what you really need is to lose that belly and then you would be able to reach your feet.

Wow Mel, you are taking a chance saying that to your OH.!!! I know what he means though. I think you can get a bit of kit that helps put your socks on. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Had a phone call this morning from Ros to say John didn't wany to go to the hospital, so Ros is staying with Carolyn. No idea what time she will get home.
I have stood a scraped a saucepan of new potato's, have done runners, parsnips and brussels. The lamb shanks can either go in a saucepan of boilng water, or the Microwave.
It's a beautifull afternoon out there, but that wind is rather chilly.
I haven't attempted the rotavating, I might wait untill these men(Garden Buddies) come and see if they will do it for me. I can then plant the seeds and runners, and care for them.
Roger (our friend) who is doing the tiling for Tony next door has just returned from two weeks in Japan with his wife. He couldn't believe how polite they are and bowed every time they served you. The owner of one shop had his staff on the pavement teaching them how to bow to the customers. He was so impressed.
Just had a large portion of Fish Pie for my lunch. Now I have indigestion !!!!

Afternoon All
Oh my goodness that is a shock about Victoria Wood :-0 Did it say how she died? I wonder if she has been ill for some time as i haven't seen anything about her for ages now.
What a beautiful day again. The only problem is the high pollen count.I have had to stay indoors all afternoon :-S (just heard Victoria Wood had Cancer)
Frank that will be nice for just the 2 of you to enjoy lunch together on Sunday.
As far as I know all is well with little Ottilie and Mum.I bet Mum and Dad are still on cloud nine and not knowing if they are coming or going lol.I bought a lovely little outfit this morning for baby. There are such lovley baby clothes these days it is hard to know what to choose.
Mel your poor birds !!!! Those Helicopters are really noisy.I wonder why it was so low over you??? Years back when Hannah was little we had the fighter jets that would suddenly scream over our house.Hannah would go into meltdown and refused to go in the garden. She would climb up on her bedroom windowsill and just stay there watching us all out in the garden.
I must get the Meatballs in the oven .I hadn't realised that it is 5pm already.

Mel ,you will have to get one of those long handled grippers that people use to get stockings/tights and socks on !!!! LOL
Frank I meant to say that your friend John seems like a right pain in the bum :-S.He sounds rather self centered .
We are having second thoughts about Vienna in September and now thinking about a cottage in Pembrokeshire .I just don't seem to be able to get Chris to sit with me and decide what exactly where we will go.It's a nuisance :-S..Lots of Cottages I have just been looking at are booked up.(well all the ones I fancy)
David ,no you weren't the only one to think the nights are a bit close.I have been getting up and opening the windows further. We always disagree about having the big window open a bit at night.I am for open and Chris is for closed. But then when I wake in the night I see he has thrown back his half of the Duvet. So I sneak out and open the window right by the side of his bed :-D :-D But if the weather forecast is right they will have to be shut again in a day or so as it is going to get a lot colder.I have had sleepless tops on for 2 days now.Looks like jumpers back on for the weekend. Great our British weather :-D :-D

Lovely day here, but a cold wind. Washing dried outside, folded and put away! (no ironing!!) Mel, if you're having persistent indigestion it might be a good idea to have it checked out, just for peace of mind. Ian's just taken Cas for a walk round the block, so that's her done for today. She's in her crate flat out!! Cold meat, smash and salad for us tonight, easy!! Very sad about Victoria Wood, only 62!! It was cancer Jane, but I expect you know that by now.

Evening all,
Another beautiful day ,lovely and warm in the sun and not a cloud in the sky . Went to see my sister this morning she's doing fine we didn't stay long as i could see she was tired and also we had left Max in his crate ,when we got home he was having a good old whine and yelp as they do, but he will have to get use to it as on Saturday hubby has an appointment at the hospital to have his ears syringed out so Max will have to be left then.
Goodnees that helicopter was low Mel your poor girls they are not use to all the noise in your garden . We get them come over as they go down at Swanyon Morley camp ,hubby only said yesterday did i hear the helicopters in the night they were having a fly. And we get the Jets go over to as they are at Marham.
It will be nice for you to have a sunday lunch out Frank ,you'll have to keep it quiet or you might get J&C tagging along .
So sad about Victoria Wood i didn't know she had cancer, there has been quite a few stars that have died these last few months .
