Pleased to hear Cas is back home Liz, she will be having a good sleep tonight.
Frank AKA Spencer again good job it was in the shallow end of your pond. What will you be up to next I wonder.
David have you thought of purchasing an ex mobility car, the one my nephew has is given back after 3 years when he then gets another brand new car and the old one is sold through the dealer it came from.
Still no Jane with news about Thomas I do hope he has turned up. No news from Gill either this must be the longest time she hasn't added to the posts.
It's raining here now but still very warm

Evening All
Yes Thomas decided to saunter home about 8.30 last night..I would love to know where he goes.I think I might have to keep him in on Saturday night ,as I need to take him to the cattery on Sunday morning. That will be fun (NOT) if he is wanting to get out.I don't really want to hear a lot of miaowing all night. But Ican't take the risk of him not being here .He is off somewhere now after dozing all day :-S
Ann what a shame you have had the rain. But at least you have been able to spend some dosh in the bead shop :-D :-D.It feels a bit muggy here tonight.I think we might have rain forecast for tomorrow . So you have had a DIP in the pond Frank LOL.I would have loved to have seen it :-D :-D.At least it has been a hot day so you didn't get hypothermia :-)
Liz I expect by now you have Cas home.I bet she will be a bit sleepy after her op.At least it is done now :-D
Frank we are off to Avignon for 4 nights and then Paris for 3 nights .We go on Sunday. I think the Maldives /Seychelles don't sound very cheap holidays!.Although beautiful places
Been to the hospital and had an arm full of blood taken (6 vials) and X-rays of my feet ,hands and chest..I don't think the consultant thinks I have Rheumatoid Arthritis But OsteoArthritis. I have an appointment in 3 months unless anything bad shows up in bloods or X-rays.. I must get on with dinner now.

Anne, I love you, that never occurred to me.
I've no idea what they are worth after 3 years, but it's worth finding out.
I'm having a new bathroom installed, after I approve his estimate, so funds are not unlimited, but a three year old car is a great deal more affordable than a new one.
I will phone Motability, and if I don't get the help I want I will phone a Ford dealer.
Thank you

Evening all,
Marcella is on and I have missed the last two weeks, so can't get into it
Glad Cas is home safe and sound, getting plenty of cuddles and fuss.
David, I was going to say. Ring MOTORBILITY They will have (or use to have) a list of all cars that are coming to the end of the three year contract. They all have service history, and nearly all are VERY LOW MILEAGE. It certainly will be a good buy.
Well I did a good forecast then Ann. ;-) ;-) It looks like the southern half of the U.K. is in for more rain tomorrow, and the North are in for Sunshine. Jane you certainly kept that quiet, and didn't ask my permission to go on Holiday this weekend. Good luck with keeping Thomas is Saturday night. It might be a good idea to get something from the vet to quieten him down Saturday night/Sunday morning, before taking him for his "HOLIDAY"
I did say I was day dreaming when I looked at those holidays.. ;-) ;-) ;-) I don't think for one minute that we could run to that expense. !!
Haven't I been a good boy, I sat two hours of soaps, even if I did moan about the story lines throughout. Who writes all this rubbish.
Nurse in the morning to have my BP tested. She wasn't happy with in last month. Lets hope it's better tomorrow.
I'm ready for my bed and the radio for a while. My back and legs need to be laid out straight.
Sleep tight all, see you in the morning. xx

I googled 'used mobility cars' a little while ago David and lots of dealers and cars came up but I wasn't sure if some of the modifications would be what you want?? It's a good idea though like Anne has said and you could always ask for more details if you found a car you liked. On some of the sites you can specify the make and model you want to filter those out you don't.
That's good you have Cas back now Liz. I bet she will sleep well and be glad to be at home tonight in her own bed.
It must be worrying when Thomas goes off like that Jane, especially with him having been a stray. Was he hungry when he got home? It's good it doesn't look like you have Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Morning my water babies, Evening Kim,
I got out at 4.45 this morning and is was hammering down. Still raining at 7.00 when I got up. in fact it's still in the air now.
Ros will take me to the nurse at 11.30. then she is going out with Carolyn. So a nice quiet day for me.
I just took my cup in the kitchen and Ros has prepared dinner for tonight. She said if I can find the Steak and Kidney out of the freezer she will make me a S & K pie for tomorrow. I am being spoilt, or what ???
Glad Cas is feeling a bit better today Liz I suppose she will sleep a lot today, getting over the operation. Give her a cuddle from me xxx
Davif it looks like you are going to be busy, looking at a the models and extra's on the Ford range. It will keep you out of mischief ;-) ;-) ;-)
Poor Ann and G. if they have this rain down in Cornwall. Can't be good trying to find places that you can visit undercover.
Enjoy your Donkey day Mel, don't forget your brolly !!! How's Thomas today Jane, tierd out from all his travels ?? I wonder where they go too for so mamy hours ??
This Rain has bought lots of blossom of the cherry tree. I have a white lawn and pond. I will have to pop down the garden to see how the beans are after all this rain. It should give them a good start.
Ros has set her Tomato plsnts in the BIG pots. I must remember to keep my eyes on them and keep them fed.
Going to get my shirt on now and see about getting up the docs.

Where is everybody???
It's continued to rain here, for most of the day. Clouds everywhere.e.
I've been down to see how thr beans are doing. They are all standing up behind the netting, so should be starting to grow and cling soon.
Ros has a fair bit of dental work, she has to have a bridge and a cap. MORE EXPENCE
West Ham play their Final game at their stadium tonight. They take over the Stadium where the 2012 games were .played. So I must make the effort to go and watch them at the pub.
Hope Cas is settled now Liz Bless her.
Have you found a car yet David ??? Pulled Pork, Roasts and veg for tonight.and Ros is sorting it out. NO it's not my birthday !!!

Afternoon All What a filthy wet day it has been.It has actually just this minute stopped raining and Thamas has finally ventured out. I had a call from Fitz to ask if I would go and help him do Podges Flea treatment. He held him while I did the drops on the back of his neck.I was actually quite shocked to see Podge as he is so thin :-0..I know Fitz is late in worming him,but he says he is drinking a lot of water and is not his usual busy self.I hope it is not kidneys.
Oh Liz.I love the pic of Cas.I'm glad she is ok after her op.Today will just be a dozing day and no doubt she will want to be up and about more tomorrow.
I seem to be all behind today so need to get on with some jobs that need doing.
I do hope that the weather isn't spoiling things for Ann and Gordon. No doubt if it is really wet they will have found some indoor things to see somewhere.
So Ros needs a lot of dental stuff doing now then Frank. That will set you back a pretty penny :-S
Still nothing of Gill :-(....I wonder what is wrong. It will be a week now that we haven't heard from her !!!!
Must press on. BBL

OH has spent a couple of hours this afternoon on the phone to BT about our internet problems! They were very helpful and did a full scan and finally ran the problem to earth as a loose wire in the box by our front door!! The chap seemed to think that opening and shutting the door over time caused the wire to work loose!! It's now tightened and we're up and running! I've sent Gill a pic of Cas (hope I didn't leave anyone out!)and I'm hoping she might see it and get in touch. Hope that everything is ok with her. Had a long chat with M this morning, and L just now. She can chat for England, but it's lovely to hear from them both!! At last it's stopped raining, but still a bit grey and grizzly!!

Yes Liz I wondered if you might get a reply from Gill about Cas. Maybe her computer is not working.Trouble is there is no other way of getting in touch with her.
The rain stopped for about 2 minutes. Thomas went out the back door and then appeared at the patio door lol.He must have a very full bladder by now.But hasn't used his tray.It is so miserable out there and dark in the house too now.It looks like what I call Devon Weather with a heavy drizzle.Just missing the sea mist.
I found an attachment for the lighter weight hoover that I keep upstairs(haven't used it before). But I have just used it on the stair carpet and it has done wonders. It's brilliant :-D
i don't know if i said yesterday but when I had my BP done it was sky high! 181/135 !!! I was so shocked as the highest it has ever been was 140/90.But it must have been (The white coat Syndrome).I did it this morning as Chris has one of these electronic BP machines and it was back down to normal .Thank heavens.I must have subconsciously been worrying.I was also shocked when I was weighed too :-S :-S. Must do something about that.
We have easy meals tonight.I bought some of M&S Balanced for You meals.James and Chris will have the Beef in Red Wine Casserole ones and i have a Beef Ragu and Penne Pasta.I have plenty of extra veg to go with them. Four more days of having to cook and then a lovely break from the kitchen duty :-D :-D.I think that is one of the thing I enjoy most when on holiday(other than the place). The weather is looking good for us at the moment for next week.It is showing Sun and about 24 degs.
When I was down at Fitz 's he spotted a very poorly Bumble Bee on the floor. He was just going to get rid of it,but I made him go and find a flower in the garden to pick and I scooped the Bee up and we put it on a little wall which had plenty of water on it and the flower head by the Bee's head.It slowly moved into the flower so hopefully there was some nectar and that the Bee recovered.Fitz thought I was crazy but he has now learnt a new thing :-DHopefully in future he will now know what to do :-D it is all thanks to Mel from that time she told us what she did with her Bee :-D :-D
Mandy how is Max today? I hope his trots have stopped now.

Wow Jane, that was very high BP!! I'm glad it's settled down again. I take mine at home once a week and it's fine, but the moment the nurse does it during my six monthly check up it is always high! As you say, white coat syndrome! Are you on medication for BP? I take two, + a statin which seems to keep that and high cholesterol in check!
