Morning all and evening Kim,
Bright and sunny morning here and I had a good lay in.
Pleased you managed to move the greenhouse ok without any mishaps Gills. I hope the glass replacement was only the panes broken before you took it out. Bet the garden looks really different now. It will be so nice to see Michelle when she comes on the 23rd. Hope you both like the boyfriend!!!!!
The hog is still alive but still has'nt moved around its box at all. It just seems to be asleep. They had a big bonfire up the top yesterday and I am wondering if it was in that before they lit it. It dos'nt show any signs of being burnt that I can see and I have seen both its front feet this morning. It does look thin though. It has'nt touched the water or food left for it but I did wipe a little water round its mouth with a cotton bud.

I've just lost another post, without any warning. So will try again.
Morning all, evening Kim,
Another bad nights rest, knowing Ros had to be up early, I was clock watching throughout the night. But, true to her word Carolyn rang at 7.00 am. Ros, bought me in a COT and left about 8.00 am.
I got up soon after and got another COT snd looked through the Paper.
Ros has rung to say they are in the coffee house, but is very anoyed that the coach parked over a mile away, and they had to walk through a field to get to the house. (COMPLAINT WILL BE ON IT'S WAY, WHEN THEY GET BACK.) She and a lot of older passengers were struggling to walk that distance. She did as I asked a took a stick with her.
My "buddie" was Jimmy Powell, Looking at the film sent my Mel, I would say he was the one the "G" string. He has /had lost a lot of weight and had a grey beard, but had the same voice.
Sounds as though you had a good evening out Anne, I bet the doggie bag went down well ;-) ;-)
I see Auntie Mel has turned into "NURSE " Mel. I hope with your care that the Hog survives, and joins the rest of your group.
What time are you off Jane, Don't forget to take a "CORK SCREW" lol lol. Have a nice break and BEHAVE YOURSELF !!!
So Michelle won't be staying with you Gill. I do hope you have a nice day with her when she does come. How many relatives does she have around your ara ?? It sounds a lot of time to give up on visits. The post is jumping around so I am going to post this NOW.

Afternoon All I'm still here :-D. What a performance we had getting Thomas in the pet carrier. He was kicking and struggling so much, but got him in eventually. Then it was the journey to the cattery .He was scrabbling desperatley trying to get out and yowling :-(. Anyway I got him there safely but then realised i had forgetton his bed.(there is one there anyway but I always think it nice to have his own which he loves. So I drove back home and took it back for him.I feel quite exhausted now LOL.I think he will settle fine and the lady is really nice and she spends time giving all the cats a bit of special time :-D
So now I just have to put my charger leads in my case for the camera and my kindle and then zip it up. I need to do my legs too. Can't go on holiday with a 5 o clock shadow on my pins.James will be home in time to take us to the station .I told him if there are any hold ups just to let us know and we will get a taxi.I just want to get going now. Oh I need to sort out my handbag!!!.Nearly forgot that.I have so much rubbish in there that needs clearing out.I need room for a bottle of water and my kindle plus all the other bits and bobs. We will just have a snack for lunch as we will have a fairly early meal tonight at the hotel in London.
Frank I hope that long walk for Ros won't do her in.I guess they will have to walk back to the coach too !!!!!.That does seem a long way to have to walk though.Sometimes they have those buggies for anyone who can't walk too far.I hope she has a lovely day . Oh Mel it does sound as the poor old Hog was suffering a bit.Is he still here? That tic might have been on him for a long time :-(
Anne sounds like you had a smashing time with everyone at the Smokehouse :-D
Gill what a bargain the cupboard was.Great idea to use the money your Mum gave you. I'm glad Sandra liked the pics I sent :-D :-D
Ann I bet it now feels like weeks ago that you were down in Cornwall. That the trouble once you get back home and down the normal stuff again.
Gill ,It sounds like MIchelle is doing what Hannah does when she comes home.SEES all her friends. But even though you won't see much of her it will still be lovely for you.
Well I think I had better crack on now and get the things done I need to do.So I'll sat tatty bye for now.........Don't need a corkscrew Frank. The waiters will do that :-D :-D I am sure we will be having plenty of stops during the days for a glass of Vino /Coffees.
I will not be offering to help with Podges injections !!.I don't think I could do it.It will be a twice daily thing for Fitz.I really hope that he can do it.I don't mind doing the spot on flea /worm treatment. Now if it was a person I had to inject that would be no problem at all :-D
See you all again on the 24thxx......I don't want to hear of any disasters FRANK ;-)

Do the think the hog might have a bit of smoke inhalation Mel, which might explain it wanting to sleep and not being interested in eating or drinking? Hopefully it'll be okay in a day or two, especially with you looking after it. We have a hog who comes into our garden of an evening, eating the left over nuts that Rosie and her friends have left behind. OH said he saw two hogs down by the apple tree and that one might of been the baby. We saw a bat the other night and the heron keeps flying by, there's so much going on here after dark. Yes, the glass replacement was only the two pieces that were already broken Mel and luckily no more broke, although it did take us most of the day to move it and put the glass back in. All these jobs that seem to take forever, I'll be glad when they're finished and I can make a start on the pretty stuff LOL. At the moment we're just trying to make it look presentable for when Michelle and her boyfriend visit. Unfortunately it's forecast to rain on Wednesday and OH is out all day on Monday and back in work on Thursday, so we only have today and Tuesday to sort everything out if it rains Wednesday. So lots to do and not much time to do it all in. We haven't even got time to watch the F1 so I've had to record it. Don't tell me who wins as we'll watch it tonight. Hope it's a good race.
No Michelle can't stay with us this time Frank as we haven't got a bed for her to sleep in. We're using the spare bedroom as a storage room for the boxes we took out of the loft that haven't been unpacked yet, so the bed has been taken apart to make room. She is visiting my mum and picking the rest of her stuff up out of mum's loft, the van is arriving on Friday so she needs to pack everything into boxes which she's doing on Tuesday as most of her stuff is only in bags at the moment. She's also visiting OH's mum who lives in Ellesmere Port on Thursday. Monday she'll be travelling here and Friday she goes home so not a lot of time to spread around everyone. OH is working on Tuesday so mum said she will pick Sandra and I up so we can see Michelle at hers, but I'm not sure as that will be there time together, plus Michelle will be busy packing so I don't want her to think she has to talk to us when she's so busy, which is why I think seeing her on Wednesday will be better as we can all have a chat. OH is only off on the Wednesday that week and then again at the weekend, but by the weekend Michelle will be back in Leeds. She always makes lots of plans when she comes down and normally she stays with us, but unfortunately this time round, like I said there's nowhere for her to sleep, which is why we're not seeing much of her. I think she is coming back in October so things will be different then, hopefully.
We've cut down 4 trees so far today to give us access to the fence behind and have secured that too as it's one of those fences that slides down into a concrete post so they wobble around a lot in the wind. We've now added some new wood and wedged it all into place so we can add more wood to make the fence higher. We want a six foot high fence and at the moment it's only three foot.
The sun has come out but it's windy and not very warm, at least the rain has kept away so that's good.
Anyway I'd better get back to it, OH is waiting for me, see you all later.

Sorry Jane didn't see you there. So Thomas wasn't to keen about going on his holidays then, I'm sure he'll be okay and soon settle, the woman you take him to sounds really nice. Have a great holiday, see you on the 24th or 25th.
The sun has gone in now and it doesn't look very warm. I think OH wants to get this job finished so he can have a bath and a sit down. He got cramp in his leg at 7am this morning and didn't bother going back to bed after that. I was already up so we both decided to get on with the jobs.
Oh hubby is shouting me so I'd better go BBL

Afternoon all,
Safe journey Jane have a lovely relaxing time ,i'm sure Thomas will be fine .
Cloudy here the sun keeps trying to break through and i can see small bits of blue sky.
Hubby is watching the F1 ,it all happenes at the start Gill :-0
Mel i hope the poor old hog will pull through , he might have had some smoke so hopefully a few days will see him perk up , he's picked the best place to come to be looked after by you.
Max had his first walk out today , what fun and games we had ,he was trying to pick up stones , a cigarette end and a piece of chewing gum , he walked quite nicely really for his first time out, he wasn't to keen on the long grass in the churchyard as it was still a bit wet but he'll soon get use go things.
Poor Ros thats quite a way to have to walk from the bus spend a day walking round and then have to walk all that way back to the bus , she will be warn out when she gets home.
Gill i hope the weather holds out today so you can get all your jobs done .

James rang and said he has got a bit snarled up on the M25.He will ring again in half an hour and it if it is still difficult then we shall ring for a taxi.(must fine the number !!)
Oh I would have loved to have seen Max on his first proper walkies Mandy. Bless him all these new things for him to investigate ..Fag ends and chewing gum :-D :-D :-D I bet people you met along the way loved him :-D :-D Just done my nails and waiting for them to dry now.I think I am ready :-D. The sun is really shining here, its a beautiful afternoon.I just remembered to pack my sunglasses.
Chris nearly had a fit when he brought my case downstairs :-S..He just said don't expect me to lump it around for you LOL.Luckily it is a case with wheels on all corners so it runs along the ground really easily . James just called and he hopes now to be back by 3.I have told him we need to leave the house by 3.15 ,so it still may be a taxi.
Turning of the computer now.

Just finished our Sunday roast, now we're going to have some ice cream. This is the second night we've eaten really late.
I've had the worse day ever, nothing has gone right and I feel like we've done hardly anything. OH was suppose to be going out all day tomorrow but has now decided to stay here to help me finish off the fence. We want to make it taller but unfortunately the original fence is neither straight or the same size between the posts so we've decided to just put up a bit of wire and cover it with some sort of screen. I've got some bamboo but not enough to cover the whole fence, so we'll have to buy something to fit when we get some spare time. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
Well, I'd better go my ice cream is melting, see you all tomorrow if I get the chance. Night Night

10.30 just turned the outside light on and looked out the back door to see the fox eating the hog food just off the patio on the grass. Clapped my hands and it ran away.
I had already seen it run across the garden earlier when it was still just light as I was washing my hands at the sink.
Saying night night now. Hope Jane and Chris got o their hotel ok and have a good journey on.

Good morning all
It's very sunny again today but still chilly outside, will be taking Amy out soon as Shadow is fast asleep in the conservatory and might not join us which means Amy gets a longer walk.
I hope you have a better day today Gill and everything goes smoothly for you. You did eat your Sunday roast very late there is no way I could do that without getting chronic indigestion and then there is the clearing away afterwards.
We have a fox living near bye Mel, sometimes when Richard has come home latish having bought a kebab from the burger van he has shared it with him and you do hear them at night as they make a very distinctive noise. How is the little hog today and your poorly chicken ?
I expect Jane is in a holiday mode now I hope she has packed everything she needs and a lot more beside by the sound of it :-D :-D
I've decided to have a lazy day today and just potter about in the garden. I finished putting all the plants in yesterday so just some watering and pulling up weeds as they spring up overnight. :-| :-|

M, so off we went to find a reaorning all, Evening Kim,
Well trouble will be well on their way now. Does anyone know what time her train was..
We found a nice restaurant last night. Very good menu, and not over priced.
We got home in time to watch the "QUEENS BIRTHDAY PARTY" What a great show, especially if you love horses. The training they must go through is a wonder to me.
Slept well last night. 12.00 midnight to 7.00 am this morning. Quite a bit of cloud around this morning with a light breeze.
I have indigestion right under my right shoulder blade. Whst ever I do I csn't move it. This is when I could do with "Andrews Liver salts" I slways found that helped move it.
I MUST get those seeds in today. they will stunt his growth Hope the hog is alright this morning Mel. Mandy how nice for Max getting all those new smells on his walk. Tell him to give up th "FAGS"
It's at it again (the computer) see above.

My morning post has'nt come up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Afternoon all,
I am not sure if it is us and our pc's or GR and their workings why our posts are disappearing not getting there at all or being muddled. I had a job to work out Frank's post on the first line this morning and then when I posted it has'nt come up.
Well Frank I am glad you had a restfull nights sleep but sorry you have indigestion this morning. Get Ros to give you a few hard pats on the back that should help.
So a nice long walk for Amy this morning without her little friend tagging along. Bless... <3

With every intention of planting the seeds, I went off down the garden this morning. Started to rake the ground, and fell over. Picked myself up and started again. Only managed to scratch the surfafe, not deep enough to put the seeds in. So I gave it up. I did water the beans and greenhouse before came in. Been sitting with my leg up all afternoon.
I have prepared a chicken casserole for this evening, so only a casserole pot and potato saucepan to wash up tonight.
Jan has just SKYPED to say she is flying back to Luton arriving 11.45 pm tonight. Can Ros pick her up. Kerry'e baby Alexandra has caught chicken pox, and is so poorly they have addmitted him to hospital. He is on a drip which contain antibiotics. Thet are not sure how long he will be in there. Kerry is so distraught ,that is why Jan is coming home. She will stay as long as needed. Then go down to Devon to pick up her car,. She will stay in the area with Kerry or us until we all fly to Spain on the 1st June.
Mel,Ros took her frustration out on my back this morning. A few hard thumps, lots of loud burps, and I think is has been removed. Just left me with a sore shoulder blade. What will you do with hoggy. Just leave him, and see what happens. We have a lot of calling cards on the patio, so I have started to put food down for ours.

I am so pleased you still have your hog Frank. Or perhaps you have more than one and don't know it.
Silly boy falling over again. Would'nt it be easier for you to plant your seeds in cells and then pop them in the veg plot?? Thats what we used to do when we did the veg garden years ago.
Is'nt it quiet without our Jane and she has only been gone a day!!!!!! :-0

Ros has just realised she's short of petrol for the journey to Luton Airport tonight. So has gone to Tesco and will pick up some bits while he is there.
Dinner won't spoil, all I need to do is put the spuds on when she gets back.
Yes Mel, I might have more than one, but the security light needs replacing. I have bought a new one, but can't reach to do it myself. I will have to wait for someone to do It does frustrate me when I have to rely on other people. But as things are I can't trust, I won't fall off the steps .
It's been a lovely afternoon here, and still is, with plenty of the "Yellow stuff"
I expect Jane and Chris, will be enjoying a G & T or a glass of wine by now.!!!
Have you finished in the garage now Gill. One of these days you will come on here and say "You have nothing to do" lol lol
I expect Ann has cleared all the washing today. Now you have to Iron it ;-) ;-)
Ros will have to get the spare bedding out later, to make up a Bed for Jan. Our sofa is the size of a single bed. Good job it is, or she would be sleeping on the floor. I also have a bed chair in th conservatory. So when Conrad stays, we bring that in as well. Thats the trouble having done away with our second bedroom, but the space we have created is better for us on a day to day basis. Where would Ros do all her sewing. ?? in the shed or garaGE i expect ;-) ;-) ;-) <3 <3 <3

Evening all,
It's been quite a nice day really , little cloud and quite warm in the sun ,took Max for his walk this afternoon and went a bit further than yesterday but he got a bit fed up and began to twist and turn on the lead so i think we will do a shorter walk again tomorrow.
Oh Mel i hope the hog is ok , do you think he's an old one ? can you tell how old they are ?
Frank i think you can still get Andrews Liver Salts in Tesco's, hope your ok after your fall ,as Mel said it might be easier for you if you had the plants to put in rather than the seeds . Hope the little one soon gets better ,the antibiotics should help ,its a worry when they are little they soon get dehydrated.
Ann how did OH get on today at the hospital ?
Anne i don't blame you having a lazy day today ,putting plants in can be quite back aching .
Bet Jane is sitting in the sun now enjoying a glass of some thing .

Evening All,
OH didn't get on at all at the hospital Mandy! He set off but then I got this sheepish phone call from him to say that he'd been told he wasn't due there till Wednesday!! lol
They'd sent him a second copy of the the letter he'd had before stating when his appointment was due, but there was a second page he hadn't read saying it was now cancelled and showing another date for Wednesday!! :-) I've never known him not read something properly in all the 30 years I've known him so it's most unlike him. It's usually me that does these things. He said he is getting more like me!!! lol.
I love your kitties when they were kittens Anne. Did you get them together?
Frank, you will have to do some waist high beds like mine. It's much easier. It must be worrying when a little baby is that poorly. I'm sure Jan's daughter will appreciate having her mum home. All the washing got done Friday when we got back and was dry by Saturday lunch time. OH does the ironing, except for a few things.
We enjoyed the Queen's 90th Show as well, but I do wish they'd keep the camera on the actual horses they are talking about. Shirley Bassey looked good and still has that fantastic voice. We also enjoyed the Victoria Wood prog before it.
We went to see a local windmill that had an open day yesterday. It's the one I sent a photo of a few years ago that we thought would make a good painting. OH amazed me by climbing the other 4 storeys right to the top!! :-0 Me and another lady didn't go up as she had dodgy knees too. The chap who lives there and was doing the talk had a very long wispy beard and long hair and had a very posh voice. Me and the other lady went and had a free COT and biccie that had been laid on instead. Then we went to look at the miller's stable and the cart shed. The toilet with twin wooden seats (one larger than the other) was in the next building and just had large buckets underneath!! The pigsties were brick too and had a large metal bowl let into brickwork with a fire basket underneath. I suppose they cooked potato peelings for the swill in there.
I wonder what happened to the hog Mel. It doesn't sound good if it won't eat poor thing. At least you got those ticks off it.
Gill, you are giving me exhaustion with all you do!! I bet you are glad the greenhouse has been safely moved now. It must give your garden a whole new look!
