Mandy.I think you are right and that is the programme that Janice saw.I forgot she mentioned grated cheese too. Janice won't break the egg(something to do with the blood spot) so that is why she sais about breakingthe skin on the yolk. She is very funny when it comes ot eggs !!
I have had a bit of a mad day with cleaning. Chris asked if I was feeling alright :-S.After doing the outside front I gave my hands a rest and then decided to attack the BIG window and BIG mirror on the stairs. The window must be about 6ft high and is halfway up the stairs so a ladder usuallt has to be used. But I don't do ladders so after I squirted thw window cleaner on I got my new long handled mop and wrapped the window cloth on the pad and cleaned it off that way.Same with the mirror. I think I have managed a reasonable job :-D :-D.Bet no-one will notice though :-S.Then it was the inside of the kitchen windows which were covered in water splatters from the sink.Did the outside of them then as they were filthy and I couldn't see how clean the inside was LOL. Had enough now as my hip is killing.
How is our Frank today? Hopefully managing to do the excercises a little easier.
Still no Gill !! I hope she is ok.
It is a lovely evening here.Nice and warm with a little breeze. Not looking forward to the high temps expected next week again. This suits me just as it is now :-D

You sneaked in there Frank without me seeing. 2HOURS is a very long time to be sat on the loo!.Bet you still have a red ring mark around your bottom. Yes Big Jobs was what it was called when I was a child :-D Are you taking any laxatives to help you go? You should do.You don't want to start getting too uncomfortable being bunged up and coping with your pain .Keep on with lots of fluids.
James has just pulled up on the drive. I forgot to put his dinner in :-S

Sounds as if you've had a busy day Jane ,funny how some days you feel like really getting stuck into cleaning then another day you don't ,bit like when i had all my curtains down to wash i was just in the mind for it .
Jane you want to try one of those window vacs for your windows and mirrors they are brilliant i bought one a few weeks ago, i saw the Vileda ones in Tesco for 29.99 but Chris looked on Amazon and found the same one on there for 19.99 ,just charge them up and away you go.

Are they long handled ones Mandy?I seem to have so many electrical gadgets for various things but they often just get forgotten .Bit like Kitchen gadgets.I do use my carpet cleaner (bit like a hoover) .That was a good buy. No house work tomorrow :-D. I just need to pop to Tesco in the morning to get some nice bread to take down to Fitz when we go for lunch. Also I see that Youngs Jumbo Whole tail Scampi is half price so I will get a few packs for my freezer. Then it is down to Fitz at 12.30 and probably not home until late afternoon. It is very handy him just being down the lane :-D :-D.Also it will be very strange not to see dear old Podge mooching around :-(

I saw that on Eat Well for Less triesd it but I don't like cheese with egg so a no no with me. I often do scrambled eggs in the micro. Also if I have abroken egg or I break one I always do them for the birds. The blackbirds take beakfulls away when they are feeding their babies.
Had a call for two dozen eggs from Em next door today for tomorrow evening as she's not in during the day because she is looking after her sisters two young boys as Sophi is going to a funeral.
I did that horrid job of cleaning the shower doors this morning. I hate it because I have to stand in the shower to do it and it puffs me out. I did them with Cif this time. I usually use washing up liquid as that cleans the grease off. They do look nice when I have finished though and I am about to go in and muck them up again.

Morning all,
Have a nice lunch at Fitz today Jane and don't drink too much of the white stuff or you will be no good for the rest of the day.
I have LIBRARY this morning and I have remembered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!now that must be a first. Books are all ready to go back and I am hoping they have some thing nice for me to bring home.
Oh had to wake me this morning, in fact not long ago!! Slept like a log last night and had a dream about going to Jamie Oliver's house which was by the sea and there being broken glass on the sandy path along where I had to walk and picking up a baby Robin that coudl'nt fly and taking it with me. We also past a tree absolutely covered in mealworms and suddenly the birds went crazy for them and stripped the tree bare not leaving any for the Robin but we managed to find a few and they were huge.

Afternoon to you all, I see it's only you who has been on today Mel. Glad you found enough meal worms for your ROBI don't put me through tN. Where did that one come from ???
Iffy sort of night again last night. In bed and settled down by 11.00 pm, awake with pain and wanting a wee by 2.30 am Slept again until 5.45.and laid until 8.00 am. Ros got up to make tea while I went into the bathroom for a wash and shave. Got dressed this morning in trousers and short sleeve shirt.
Haven't done much this afternoon. Ros had to leave me while she went to Tesco. She has just got home. We will have a COT and leave for the hospital about 3.40 pm. If they don't put me through the wringer too much, we might stop for an early evening meal, to save her cooking tonight. I bet I will get told off for using the frame instead of the sticks. But I just can't balance on my sticks. If it takes a few weeks longer to heal, then so be it !!!
Big line of washing blowing in the wind. Ros is just going out to bring it in. Should be nice and dry, with that lovely fresh smell.

Afternoon All,
Better the frame than struggling with the sticks I would have thought Frank. I hope the physio is bearable for you.
It rained for ages here last night, just what the garden needed! I felt really off colour the past few days, probably a bug, but woke up feeling so much better this morning. You don't realise how bad you feel till you feel better do you? :-) I had my hair cut and lowlighted this morning so that feels great now. I have noticed it gets less and less busy there, just me and a medical student this morning, so I hope they don't close! :-S They have just opened a 5th salon so I could go to one of the others, but this one is only 5 minutes away by car and so handy!
We've been to the fav carvery today and they had done an apple, ginger and almond crumble which was very nice. :-)
Mel you did have a busy night in your dream! Yes, I always do scrambled egg in the micro too......much quicker and easier to clean the dish after!! I must have a go at doing poached eggs like that though. I have a feeling I tried them with sticking a pin in the yolk years ago, but they still popped so it wasn't too successful.
I hope Jane had a nice time at Fitz's. I remember seeing Podge when I went, so I can imagine it would be odd not to see him anymore.
When we got home after lunch, Hello Kitty was waiting at the end of our drive and gave me a loud miaow when I got out of the car and then trotted over for a few tickles. His owners are out at work in the day I think and he seems to hang around looking for a bit of fuss.

Been to Holsworthy this afternoon as I said and bought myself two more pairs f the plastic sandles, a gold pair and a silver pair as they were all they had in my size. I bought a pair for Di too. You can't go wrong at £3 a pair. I also bought a different style pair in black and silver with a cros s over on the front as t hey were comfy too. Now I can have one on, one off and one in the wash like I used to with my sons school shirts as mum did with mine too.
Ann Hello Kitty is getting a regular visitor to yours Ann.
I really enjoyed last weeks Full Steam Ahead. I wish they would do more programs together those three or I would also watch repeats of Victoian Farm and the other programs they did.
Bought oh a rubber mat for parking his mower on in the winter as his lent to only has an earth floor but he said it would be good when he has to lay under the mower to change the decks or work on them so I think he was pleased with that and it was only £10 and is cushioned a bit too.

Good morning all
A bit overcast at the moment, Fluffy blue eyes was in the garden this morning until Amy decided to bark at him.
Ann it sounds like you are also having Kitty visit you for a fuss, I think some cats do get lonely Your pudding yesterday sounded delicious
Mel you bought some bargains yesterday when you went to Holsworthy. We don't . have any of those spiders but a fair few flies about | when I was removing some pond weed out of the bottom pond the tiniest little frog hopped out.
Frank, I don't blame you for using the zimmer frame it must make you feel more secure as you are less likely to trip over. I had to smile about you doing a big job as it reminds me when Mark was about three and just learning about colours, when we were shopping in M&S announced very loudly that he wanted to do a "Brown One" because of the Aspergers he became obsessed for a while with the colour of everything.
The hairdresser came yesterday and put some low lights in my hair this was after Sainsburys had delivered the weekly shop and Amy had her walk. One of my SIL'S rang me and we were chatting for over an hour although it didn't seem that long ..I have felt so tired for the last couple of days and if I sit down I have been falling asleep, I don't know why because I have been sleeping well at night.
Amy is now rounding me up for her walk and then I must start hoovering through the house as I haven't done it for a couple of days :-| :-|

M ornin g Anne and all,
Grey day here too and I don't know why we get one good day and then a horrid miserable one. I'm hoping it brightens up later.
Friday and I don't know where the week went again. I keep saying this that the weeks are passing faster or is it I just sleep longer so the days are shorter?
Still hoping Frank had a better night with less pain and want to know how he got on with his physio please?
Mady how's the toe? Have you spoken to Niko lately or has he gone from the churchyard?

Afternoon all,
Phew it's so hot here today ,i just went out to do a few jobs and i could really feel the heat of the sun on the back of my neck.
Hope the physio helped yesterday Frank and that they didn't make the joint more painful for you.
Ann i liked the sound of the pud you had yesterday ,i'm trying not to have to much in the way of puds , i try only have a pud when we go out now, i have now lost nearly three and a half stone , i was so pleased yesterday i got into a pair of thin cotton trouers i haven't worn for a few years now and i was glad i hadn't thrown them out as they are so comfy to wear.
We took Max for his six month check up yesterday ,where has that time gone , he now weighs 18.5 kilos !!! everything was fine but we did ask about having him castrated, the vet thinks it might help to calm him down as he is so lively and has taken to trying to have little bites of me !! he gets worked up and then he strikes ,i try to calm him before it gets to that point by getting him in his crate . So we think he will have the chop in the next couple of months ,must get hubby back on his feet after his op before Max is done .
Mel, Nicko has moved on ,not far though, i was talking to a neighbour who has an allotment at the bottom of the churchyard and it seems he has now bedded down in there near the stream, he's using his plastic cover as a tent . Toe is much better thanks . Lewis's toe looks better not so red now but he is going to lose his nail.
Oh dear so Amy has send Fluffy off has she , was this the fisrt time they had seen each other ?
How is Thomas Jane ?still after his fresh meat i bet .

Three and a half stone Mandy thats really good. Walking Max must have helped too. They say walking uses calories.
Just going to wash up. Oh is still fiddleing with his new scarifier. It seems one part was welded on a bit low and the bit that is welded touches on the gusrd so you can't adjust it.

Afternoon all my friends,
Have just returned from the hospital, they have removed over 20 staples from my knee, the last couple opened up the flesh, and the blood is very very DARK, which she expected. She has redressed the knee, and should it get too painful or swollen, I must contact the Out patients dept.
The Physo was very gentle with me yesterday, and showing me more exercises that I have to do. I am going back next week.
Ros got the results of her MRI this morning. NOT GOOD. one disc is bulging and three others are crumbling. The specialist said years ago that they will not be able to operate on her back anymore (she's had four).
It's a beautiful day here today, and the forecast is good for the "CANAL FESTIVAL" Saturday and Sunday. I will give it a miss this year, with so many people being there.
Max is getting a BIG BOY Mandy. I though you might like to breed from him. !!!
Ros has done a small chicken casserole for tonight with fresh veg. We will have that when it cools down a bit.
I'm down to u/pants, with shorts standiny by, should we have visitors. !!!

Goodness Mandy, Max is growing into a big lad!! Cas weighs just under 10 kilos! She's with me outside running about with her ring on her head tossing it up in the air! I'm sitting at the back of the bungalow out of the wind trying to read and attempting to ignore her!!! The paddock has been weedkilled, and OH is mowing it this afternoon. Merlin has been on one small bit for the past week, so he'll be glad to have the whole field back! Hard boiled egg salad for supper, nice and easy!

Yes Mandy ,Thomas still dining out.Now sleeping off a mouse or 2 in the summerhouse listening to Classic FM :-D Good idea to get Max done.Especially if you are not going to be breeding from him.Lets hope it does the trick and calms him down bit .
Nicko sounds like he a good spot in the Allotments by the stream.Good time too for fresh veg and fruit :-D :-D
Anne maybe you are a bit under par and just need to have a few 40 winks when you have a sit down.I expect it will pass and you will feel full of beans again :-)
I wonder how Frank got on yesterday with his check up.Hopefully we will hear from him soon.

Afternoon All,
Mandy, he is big now isn't he! :-0 Yes they say it's a good idea to neuter male dogs as it reduces some health risks as well as calming them down. Congratulations on losing so much weight!!!! <3 <3 The most I managed a few years ago was 2 stone but didn't keep it off. I bet you feel so much better for it and how great to be able to get into more of your clothes. Maybe I should get a Labrador? lol. The fav carvery has a pud as part of the deal, so it's the only day we have puds now. Next we need to cut out the cake we've started having when we go round the gardens!!! I never bother with cake at all normally, but these things soon become habits. :-S
Frank, I hope your knee feels a bit better without all those staples!! :-0 I'm glad the physio wasn't too painful for you. No wonder Ros gets trouble with her back with the damage to it. I hope they can do something for her.
Cas sounds comical with her ring Liz. She really loves it doesn't she.
We are off for a walk around the quarry now. BBL.
