Mum's just rang she is coming out of hospital today, so that's good news, she didn't need the angiogram in the end so further good news, at least that means her heart is okay. She's on antibiotics for a bladder infection but can take those at home. She is so pleased they are letting her go home as she's been there for almost 2 weeks and she wants to sort a few things out for Christmas. I did say to her not to over do it otherwise she could end up back in hospital over Christmas so she's assured me she won't. My sister is moving house on Monday so her son is bringing a few things over to put in mum's garage for now, so it'll be nice to see him as we haven't seen him for a while. My sister is going to give her son a 4 foot conifer tree for him to pass on to me, so I'll have to pot that up until the spring as it's to cold to plant it in the ground at the moment. I believe the weather is going to turn colder over the weekend so I don't want to chance losing the tree if it goes frosty again. So all in all things are starting to look up. My headaches have stopped so it must of been stress causing them. I'm going to write the last of my cards out after lunch then I've only got a few bits of food to buy for Christmas nearer the day, everything else is finished now. We are hoping to visit OH's mum soon to give her present to her and of course his side of the family's cards, everyone collects them from his mums. So we're getting there ;-) :-D |

No Frank I have only done three which are down the shop. I must ring Erics and see if she wants one this year for her sons grave. She likes it all natural no bows or flowers and I really enjoy doing that one. |

Ros has just come in from the garden, sweeping up all the leaves. She is about whacked out. |

Mel the angel garland is brilliant, you are clever. Could you send me a picture of Sandra's Angel please, I've been telling my friend in Australia about it but don't have a photo of my own to send to her and also the mouse in the shell everyone's talking about, I'd like to see that too, thanks <3 |

I meant to say how good it was that Gill's mum is coming out of hospital. At least you won't have to go up stairs to see her now Gill. I hope she feels better for Christmas now both your minds are at rest with it not being her heart. |

Jane I think you are quite right taking a stand over the dog. Frankly it's Jess's responsibility to care for it, (shes's old enough!!) not yours!! She'll have to get it after Xmas if it's a problem, or leave it at home while she's away!! |

Kennels won't usually accept puppies under six months, they're just too much responsibility! I can see you'd feel worried about Thomas 's reaction Jane which could be catastrophic one way or the other! They'll have to sort it out between them, it's as simple as that!! Presumably her family will look after it while she's at work? What if she moves away from home? To be honest it's sounds a bit ridiculous to have a dog as she's bound to leave home during its life time, and it will make it quite difficult to find a dog friendly place to live! Can't you point that out to her?!!!!! |
