Morning all
It's very cold here today with a light frost, looks like the mild weather has gone now.
Sorry to hear you have another leak Jane, is it from your bathroom? Hope you manage to get it fixed soon before it causes anymore damage. Your tree, or any other electricals, aren't underneath the leak are they, you might want to think about moving them if they are?
So Mel has a wipe clean cardi now LOL :-D :-D My mind's been all over the place lately so you're not on your own Ann ;-)
Pleased to hear you had a good day Frank, did you manage to get to the pub for the match?
Have the pups been born yet Anne? We're all waiting in anticipation.
Catching up with more programmes again today, I'm getting there slowly with emptying the planner. Sandra had me putting more recordings in for Christmas last night so I need to make sure I have enough space on the planner for everything she wants to watch.
She said it's seven sleeps to Christmas last night, so the countdown has started with her now ;-) :-) <3 It had gone midnight so I didn't mention the sleep she needed last night as she was so excited I didn't have the heart to say it was eight :-)

Morning all,
O its a cold and frosty morning here in Devon.
I must say a wipe clean cardi would be a good idea! I must have worded it in a strange way. The cardi is blue marle with a big collar and a zip front. The BAG it came in has the hedgehogs on it.
Must go and feed the birds and defrost the bird baths.

Good Morning All
Another very foggy morning here and it has turned a lot colder too
Still no news from Sasha about the puppies, every time I go upstairs I check my emails,
Pleased to hear you had an enjoyable day yesterday Frank and hope you also had a good night's sleep.
Oh Jane, poor you another leak I hate anything like that that you can't fix yourself and have to rely on a plumber especially this time of the year, are you covered on your insurance to pay for a call out?
Mandy, I know just how you feel about your Kitchen knife, have you tried looking for a similar one in shape and size? I use to love going into Norwich when we were on the Norfolk Broads, a favourite holiday of ours for a few years, I first went with Mum & Dad when I was 14.. I haven't got a roast to cook today as it will only be Paul and I as Richard is going to his god daughters 16th birthday celebration and the girls are visiting relatives of their Mum's. We are going to the garden centre to buy a Christmas arrangement to put on Peter's plot at the Crematorium and then get something to eat out, hopefully
Watched Strictly last night, I didn't have a favourite over who would win as I liked them all but I was a little surprised at the final result. Michael McIntyre was also very good

Good morning my friends, and of course our Kim,
Have decided not to cook today, so have booked a table at a very nice restaurant about ten minutes away. Darby and Joan day.
Tomorrow will be all go" I have to be at the doctors at 8,45 for my injection. Ros has to be at the hairdressers for ten then onto the nail parlour. The car needs cleaning and filling with petrol. Tuesday morning will be spent trying to get everything into the car, before setting off to Devon. Depending on the traffic that can take 4/5 hours including wee stops,
We're you able to get your leak sorted Jane ? Or will that be after Christmas. Have you thought of naming your house "leaking Hallow". Lol
Still no news on the puppy front I see, nature always takes it,s course .
Have spoken to Jan and Conrad this morning, they are busy getting everything ready for when we arrive.
I had better get my backside into gear and get showered and shaved, and sort out what I will wear . Lol
Have a good day all xxx

Afternoon All
Frank, the queues at the petrol stations here are LONG!.I think everyone must be filling up ready for the get away. Yesterday I had to go to 2 stations as there was no Diesel.
Mandy I have a favourite knife for doing everything.Even though I have so many knives I always use this one.Chris and James can't understand it lol. A couple of years ago Chris bought me a new potato peeler as the one with the wooden handle I had was rotten and the blade thing kept falling out the end.But I carried on using it until one day I couldn't find it.....Chris had chucked it out !!!!!.. I was fuming :-S :-S
The source of the leak has been found.Chris had the side of the bath off earlier and it seemed it was a loose nut or something somewhere .So he has tightened it up and it's fingers crossed now :-D. The drips were just landing on the carpet behind the dining table so nothing other than the carpet got wet. I have to say my heart sank at the thought of yet another leak. We have had far more than our fair share of them.
Larry had his eye injection ,He said it was not very pleasant at all and got a fit of the shakes afterwards. So Janice took him to the costa coffee shop in the hospital for a coffee until he had recovered.. I don't think he is looking forward to the next one :-S He has gone up on the train to Leeds today to visit his Mum before Christmas ,and will be on the train home again this evening.
We are all like expectant Grandparents here aren't we ,waiting for the pups to arrive :-D..I hope Mum delivers soon. Nice not to have any big meal to cook today.
I have a deboned Chicken defrosting for tonight. It is one of my favourite things from Waitrose. It has a Parmesan and Sunblush Tomato Marinade.I might do Saute Potatoes and stuffed Pepper.
I cried last night at the results of Strictly. It was so blooming emotional. I think he was a deserving winner after his performance .It was just brilliant.. Laughed my head off at M McIntyre after that . He does get on my nerves a bit but I did think it was funny last night.
Liz did you watch the last of Modus? Great or what !!!!!!!. I am so glad you mentioned that programme otherwise I doubt I would have watched it. I think I have finally managed to get to grips with Subtitles now :-D :-D BUT was the killer dead or not as he was carted off in the ambulance!!!!!... After so many stabbings I thought he must be dead.
FRANK,I meant to ask if you ever stop off at GLOUCESTER SERVICES on the way down to Torquay?...It is just the best service station .I think there is only one more like it in the country. You must stop there for one of your breaks. Have a look on Google and you will see what I mean.

Yes Jane we watched the last of Modus! What an ending!! Goodness knows if he survived or not, like you I wouldn't think so! I hope they show another foreign drama they're often so much better than ours and the sub titles are really no problem when you get used to them. We've had a bit of a drama over the last few days so I haven't felt like posting. Don't think I shall till after Xmas now. I just don't feel like it - sorry,

Oh Liz. I hope whatever has happened or happening will resolve by Christmas. You don't need Drama now <3.You know where I am if you need to'unload'
I had great plans to do some stuffed pepper thingy with dinner tonight. But that is on the back burner now.It seems too fiddly and I just can't be bothered.
All the wrapping paper etc will be put away this evening :-D..Just wrapped the puppy's present and so all is done now :-D..Thomas can have his unwrapped LOL .Not that he will be bothered . Chester used to have so much fun helping unwrap all the presents with us on Christmas morning. He would get so excited and grab each present as we unwrapped and shred the paper to bits :-D..I do miss our dear old boy :-(
It is feeling really quite cold outside now.Lots of dew on the lawn. The fire is blazing and we are almost out of logs again. So that is a job for tomorrow ..order more.I just hope we are in time to get them in before Xmas.

We had an enjoyable meal at a very old pub in Bracknell named the Old Manor. I had chicken strips with a spicy dip, coleslaw and chips, Paul had a large mixed grill.
I bought a potted Christmas Rose, just like the one in the photo to take to the crematorium, I wish I had bought a couple more for the garden now.
Liz I am sorry to hear you have had a worrying time and I hope it get's resolved very quickly so you can enjoy Christmas with Ian, Cas & Merlin
Jane loved the photo of little William in his Christmas jumper . I''m pleased that the leak wasn't a big problem and you can relax now it's sorted,
Checked the emails as soon as I got in, still no news.
Richard bought me a really pretty orchid yesterday but as I have never had one before wasn't too sure where to put it, at the moment it's in the conservatory just hope Toby doesn't take a fancy to it
