Thanks everyone. No it's nothing to do with 'us'! It concerns our two children who are sadly at war with each other over something that was originally pretty trivial, but has snowballed into a real problem. Don't want to say anymore.

Evening All,
I hope things are alright with you all Liz and that the 'drama' whatever it is is soon over.
Yes, young William looks a strapping young lad now in his Christmas jumper! That's good Chris seems to have got the leak fixed Jane. It's a good job you noticed the drips. What present did you get for the puppy? I imagine some would be bigger than him! lol. We've seen those services and used the loos but never had a meal there. They remind me of the land of the teletubbies.
I like the Christmas roses Anne, they look so bright and cheerful in the winter and would be a good choice. Those pups are biding their time aren't they? I've never had an Orchid either.
I wanted Danny to win Strictly as he was consistently the best and so bendy and all his hip moves had more ooomph to them than any of the others managed. ;-) Ore was very good on the night though, but I have found all the tear drama and praising their partners to death with them all and repeats of them doing it a bit wearing in this last series. They were doing it all the time on It Takes Two every night in the week as well. Standards were very good all round last night. Sorry to see Len going. :-S
I have a favourite knife and potato peeler too. I have mislaid the potato peeler before and it was 'agony' peeling potatoes with the spare one.

Sorry Liz to hear of your troubles, we've had problems with Michelle since her last visit and like you I don't want to talk about it, so I know how you feel. Hope things improve for you all soon.
So the leak is all sorted now Jane, I bet that's a relief? I liked Williams jumper, he's getting big now isn't he?
When you said about Chester helping with all the presents it made me laugh, he sounds like he was a right character. Our middle cat Jez was very similar and used to run around so excited like a mad thing sometimes <3 She was always getting herself into trouble too and once got her head caught in the handle of a plastic bag it frightened her as she ran around trying to get it off, it was funny to watch but not for her, we managed to grab hold of her and took the bag off.....if she hadn't of been so nosey looking in the bag in the first place she wouldn't of got her head stuck in the handle. Another time she managed to fall behind the wardrobe when we were out and we could hear her meowing but didn't know where she was, our other cat Pixie gave us a look as if to say, she's up to her old tricks again. We think she'd got on top of the wardrobe and fell behind the back, we had to move the wardrobe away from the wall to get her out, then there was the time she managed to get out of a small top window when we were out and when we came back there she was sitting on the window sill on the outside waiting for us to return, OH had to go upstairs and open the bigger window to lift her back in......she was always getting herself into trouble including trying to climb up the chimney the day we moved into our old house, luckily we caught her just in time and then she managed to get in between the gap between the cellar and ground floor, that time we had to entice her out with a bit of ham.....and the list goes on. Despite her antics we do miss her, just like you miss Chester <3
Going to bed now, see you all tomorrow Night Night

Morning all,
O Anne lovely news and I wonder how many she will have. At least its stopped the suspense as it was getting to me. Hope there's a really nice little girl for you. <3
Dull and dreary today. I shot a rabbit yesterday and Di's hubby is coming for it today late afternoon. They have them for the dogs.
I have two favorite kitchen knives I like to use and I try to keep them hidden from oh. The first one I had I lost and could'nt find it anywhere so bought another which like Mandy siad did'nt fit my hand nicely and put up with it for a while till I spied the one I use now. I can use either of these but still tend towards the newist one.

I have my favourite knife and peeler and don't like Ros using my peeler,it never feels the same after she uses it ,!
Poor old you Liz, I spent most of my life falling in and out with the family. Most of the problems were caused by my Mother adding bits to things she had heard from one or the other family member, there are only two oif left now, my elder sister who I have not spoken too I FOURTY YEARS.
Injection all done, next one 16th Jan 2017, Ros has gone off to get everything done, so I a home alone today.

So you're almost ready for the off Frank. Good idea to have Conrad take a look at your computer and the ipad . Have a great time away :-) :-)
We're just watching Scrooge, the one with Albert Finney, I love that one and it's not Christmas without the Scrooge film in this house ;-) He is such a good actor. It was on facebook two days ago that he had died, but it was a hoax........there's some weird people around isn't there?

Afternoon All
Oh I wonder how many puppies there are now!!!!!.. Anne that little fellow is soooooo cute :-D :-D..Have you heard yet if there is a little girl? I did have a bit of trouble opening the pic but got there in the end. So I hope everyone else can open the photo.Liz if you haven't deleted it have another go and see if it works. I hope you are able to not worry too much about the 'drama' going on <3
Gill I am sorry that there has been problems with Michelle and that whatever is going on can be sorted and it all works out for you all <3
Well all I can say is Water,Water everywhere !! :-S :-S..... Not in the house,,,,but my car .I think I might have mentioned the other week how the insides of the windows were all soaking and misted up every morning.Well I discovered this morning that the floor from the front passenger to the back passenger side is sodden..You could have a paddle :-S :-S I probably havent noticed it earlier as there has been no passengers in the car for ages. So off I went to the garage .I have to take in it first thing in the morning tomorrow. Honestly what is it with water with us????? It will need industrial dryers to get it all dried out!.. They said it could be something blocking the grill bit at the top of the bonnet near the windscreen or maybe a loose hose... I am wondering if it started after I had that new pump or whatever it was to do with the aircon fitted. So I am not in the best of moods to say the least. Chris has wrenched his shoulder getting the side of the bath back on so he isn't the most happiest of bunnies either. What a b****y day.
FRank what time are you off in the morning?. I hope it isn't foggy.

So sorry to hear about your car Jane, how long will it take them to fix it, hope it doesn't cost to much for you especially at the most expensive time of the year. Poor Chris too, you're not having much luck lately are you?.
How many more puppies are there now Anne? Love the photo it's so cute <3 Has a girl been born yet, I bet you can't wait to see them?
OH will be at the hospital on Boxing Day as the doctors isn't open and they don't want him leaving it to long between dressing's. Luckily he doesn't have to go on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day so that's good. He is so bored and can't wait to get back to work. He called in work today and everyone was asking when he's going back. He had another two weeks sick note to hand in and at the moment he doesn't know when he'll be back. The redness has finally gone and he said it's not painful anymore, just a bit uncomfortable so hopefully it won't be to long now before it's healed completely.
Looking forward to my new cooker arriving tomorrow, I got a text saying it'll arrive between 7.50 and 11.50am, what strange times :-S at least they won't be turning up while I'm trying to make dinner. Sandra said she wants another shepherds pie as she loved the one I made last week, so that'll be the first thing my oven will be doing, then of course the baking on Wednesday which Sandra and I are looking forward to doing together.

Car still under warranty Gill :-D.... I just hope that is covered if it is found that leaves or something like that has blocked things. No Mel I don't think it is anything to do with the back screen washers.. I am not kidding when I say you could have a paddle... I took the mats out when I got home and Chris couldn't take them through the house .He had to take them in through the back door over the tiled flooring and put them in the garage. They were like taps running :-S :-S
OH's back sounds like it has healed well now Gill.I can understand how bored he must be feeling though .He is not one not to be doing nothing is he (just like you :-) ). It is soon going to be the big Bake off in your house :-D :-D..Bet you can't wait to get the new cooker switched on :-D
I did have to laugh at the antics of your cat Gill !!!! :-D :-D..I had a cat called Jerry who also fell down behind a wardrobe. He got completely stuck .This was when I was a childrens Nanny living in 'The Big House'. My wardrobe was such a huge one and so heavy I had to call the Gardener and the Cooks husband to come and help shift it enough for Jerry to get out.!!!!!

Evening All,
What a shame.....I can't open the GIF file either and as far as I can see I need to open it to save it in another format like JPEG.......computers eh!! :-S I wonder how many puppies there ended up being and how many, if any, were girls? I bet Anne is looking forward to making that trip now!
Not another thing leaking Jane! How annoying it's your car this time. I remember the Renault Cabriolet I had being sodden from a leak from the roof. It soaked all through the seat and onto the floor so OH had to sit on a plastic carrier bag till it was fixed!! lol. They fixed mine FOC as it was under warranty so hopefully it should be the same with yours. It's just the inconvenience though, especially when you don't want your car of the road just now and all the steaming up for a while. No wonder you are fed up with all these watery things happening!
Well I came across one of those big suction cups for wreaths at The Range today and decided to get one! It even had a choice of hook you could put on it and one was a large one that would cradle the wreath well. I decided in the end that if this worked it would be better than the wreath swinging on some ribbon the way OH flings the door open!! :-0 Well, once I was home, I just popped the wreath on it and pressed the suction bit onto the glass and it is holding really firm, the foliage even covers it all, in one word BRILLIANT!!! I don't think it will be, but first job tomorrow will be to check it isn't on the floor!! lol. I did have a bit of a shock when I was paying for it though. I had some loose change in the bottom of my handbag and decided to fish that out and use it. Well I don't know about you ladies but I seem to have no end in my handbag, spare plastic carrier bags, tissues etc. There I was yanking things out quickly at the till so as not to hold everybody up, when I nearly pulled out some cloth that I thought must be the blue duster out of my car. No, it was NOT the duster........ it was those spare pants I'd stuffed in my bag Friday morning!!! lol I soon jammed them back in the bag but at least they were less flimsy than the ones I wore in my twenties!! :-0
They also had some different designs of those long mirror jewellery holders you can get on a swivel stand. I've looked at them a few times in magazines and fancied dismantling one from the stand to replace the long mirror in the bedroom that's fixed to the wall. I think I might get one if OH will come with me to get it. The one I like has little lights around the frame , lit by a battery. It would hold lots of jewellery in an organised fashion and free up some space elsewhere. Two young women there were looking to use them to store their makeup.
Gill I bet you and Sandra are keen to use the new cooker! It's good your hubby's wound is healing nicely. The rest he's having will do him good and recharge his batteries before he goes back to work.
Frank I know just what you mean about your mother and causing problems between you all. Mine was the same and I know got great pleasure from setting one against the other. It was so hurtful and upsetting I used to keep away.

OH said it might be the radiator on your car Jane, something to do with the heater and a pipe at the back of the dashboard. He's out at the moment so I can't ask him exactly what it was. He did say it was a big job though, but it would explain all the water on the floor of your car. Hopefully it'll be covered by your warrantee and they won't have your car in the garage for to long.
Cats hey, they can get themselves into all sorts of trouble, luckily our wardrobe was only light so didn't take much to move. I'm surprised she never did it again as normally she used to do the same things over and over again.....silly thing. I really do miss her, she was such a character and loved OH so much. She used to sit on the living room window sill waiting for him to come home from work, I always new when he was home as she meowed as she ran from one end of the room to the other where the kitchen door was, then she'd meow again knowing he was coming in that door. OH was so soft with her and would give her a cuddle the minute he walked through the door.......good job I'm not the jealous type as I used to have to wait for my cuddle until Jez had had hers :-D :-D ;-) I remember when we went to the recue home to look for a cat, Jez was right by the door and meowed like mad at OH, he didn't even bother to look at any other cats as they clicked straight away. I always laughed and said she chose him not the other way around LOL.
Yes Sandra and I are looking forward to the big bake off on Wednesday. I noticed the weather forecast is rain so it'll be nice to stay indoors and do some baking. I'll be doing some more on Christmas Eve as I like to make a lot of nibbles so I'm not stuck in the kitchen all over Christmas, that way we can help ourselves to anything we fancy when we want it. I'm hoping I can buy the chocolate trifle Sandra likes this week, if not then I have a couple of trifle mixes in the cupboard so I'll probably make one of those up too. Baking is the one thing I do look forward to doing for Christmas and it'll be nice to have Sandra helping me this year.
The mirror sounds just the thing Ann and the lights all around the frame sound nice. Good idea to use it for your jewellery to free up space else where. That's the kind of thing I would do. Pleased to hear you found a suction hook for your wreath, lets hope it doesn't fall off on you. I'm sure it won't if that's what it's made for.
OH and I have decided to re-paint the walls in the living room, OH painted them magnolia but unfortunately with it being a north facing room and us now having chocolate brown sofa's the room is quite dark, so much so that we're having to have the lamps on all day, so OH has decided to paint it white again to try and make it brighter in here. We have picture rails around our walls with having a 1930's bungalow so it's not full height walls so shouldn't take long to re-paint. He'll probably do it tomorrow or Friday so its out of the way before Christmas, he said it should only take a couple of hours to do, so not long. If he needs help I can help him so it should be done in half the time......he must be really bored if he wants to paint again.
Anymore news on how many puppies there were Anne, hope she had a girl or two. It won't be long before you have your little Ruby with you. The photo came through okay for me and such a cutie too.
Going to watch the second Corrie now with Sandra, I recorded it earlier.
