I've been down here for the past hour, Ant and Dec are on. I can't be doing with them. as I said before they are OTT. Did enjoy a programme on BBC 2 earlier about a chap in Australia who has lived with Kangaroos for many years. He puts them in Pillow cases to go to bed in. !!! If you get a chance, watch it on catch up. Gill, Sandra will LOVE IT ??? Yes I did enjoy my bottle of red. When in Aldi the other day I picked up 4 beers. I enjoyed them so much I asked Ros to get me some more, which she did today. I am enjoying one while sitting here.
Mandy, You will find as you clear a patch of weeds, they will start to grow again, it's a never ending circle. LOL
Mel, I do feel sorry for you. I know when I get an itch you just can't help but scratch it. You must be at your wits end.
Ann at least you know the site owners so you can have a word with them. I am sure as they know you they will try to accommodate your requirements. Lets hope so, anyway.
Not long now, when I can go and find something I WANT TO WATCH on the T.V. I think they are off at 8.30 pm.
Hope you had a nice evening with the family Jane.
See you all tomorrow, behave yourselves ;-) ;-) ;-)

Its better than nothing. No it was our local 100 club at the village hall and we have done it for years but this is the first time either of us has won anything. I was delighted as oh pays the premium!
I shall take another anthistamin before bed but when I wake up my mouth is as dry as a bone and my tongue sticks to the top of my mouth. It must be the antihistamins that are doing it as some nights I don't get up for a w**.
I am now going in the shower as there's nothing on the telly but football. :-P

Morning to the Millionaire and all, Evening Kim.
Mel a Tenner is better than nothing. We have a similar scheme in our village, I think we have won ONCE. £10.00. It pays for a years subs. lol
Dank miserable morning here, don't think we have rain yet. but I am sure it won't be long. :-( :-( :-(
Bacon roll with my COTs this morning. There doesn't seem to be the flavour in the bacon these days, like it was years ago. Ros always pays extra to get a better bacon, but still not as good.
Most leg of Pork for dinner tonight. Ros bought some new potato's for a change from Roast. I will start to get everything done a bit later.
I don't feel as I have lot of "get up and go" this morning. I need a kick up the bum. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Anything planed for today ?? like flying to the MOON. or deep sea diving ??
I'll get through the paper the best I can with my old glass's.

Afternoon Everyone
Well a tenner Mel :-D..Thats better than an a slap in the face with a wet fish LOL.I haven't used that expression for ages. I had a fiver on a scratch card :-)
Last nights meal was Simply the Best.(who was it who sang that song?) We all really enjoyed all the food and the wine. The place was full. Not a spare table .So I am really glad I booked ahead. We got home just before 10 and i expected Thomas to be waiting near the back door. Not a sign. Not in the summerhouse either. I stayed up until 11.45 but he still didn't appear. Then I woke at 2 ,so came down and went outside to see if he was there. NO. Looked out the bedroom window just after 7 and could see him asleep on the settee in the Summerhouse. So I felt relieved and went back to bed for a bit longer. But when I went out to call him in I noticed he was limping quite a bit on one of his front legs :-(.. Then he was holding his leg up .He is still fast asleep now on the settee in the lounge and whe nhe moves to turn around he is not wanting to put all his weight on that leg. I just hope it is a sprain and nothing worse.Lord knows what he was up to last night. I will keep him in now I think for today and see whats what tomorrow .
Hannah and Gareth have just gone.Hannah did Bacon and Eggs for them both so they won't need to stop off for lunch on route .We didn't cut her little Birthday cake yesterday so that has gone back with her.
Ann, I do hope that you will be able to get that week in May now for your lodge witout having to pay any extra. The price might be a bit higher in May. But really they should just agree to swap weeks. You have been a regular customer for many years there now.
Frank you sound quite chipper and appetitie much better.I reckon remembering to get that injection of Testosterone is doing the trick.Don't forget next months !!!
I think this afternoon is going to be a lazy one.I have the potatoes ready and veg for tonight.Defrosted some Chicken Breasts with Sunblush and Olive marinade. So nothing else to do now until it all needs cooking. James won't be back until this evening .It is Jess's Grandma's birthday so it is another family meal !. James not impressed LOL.They had one last weekend on the first anniversary of Jess's Grandpa's death.I think James has had enough of all the family get togethers there. He says there is always a bit of drama and tension with that lot LOL

I can well understand how James must feel, especially as he isn't family. God you all enjoyed your meal out.
Conrad is home from Spain, and rang us this morning. He is insistent that we go down to Devon for Mothers day, as he is coming home to see his MUM. So it looks like we will be going down on the Thursday before and come home when we are ready.
I spoke with my sister this morning. She is very poorly. Got taken into hospital yesterday morning unable to pass water again. They fitted another catheter and discharges her at 4.00 am this morning. What a time to throw an old women out of hospital. I think her sons taking this further.
Madam has been waiting for the drizzle to stop so she can plant up the little baskets that hang on the fence down the drive. She's happy now as she is out there !!!
I am just going to settle down with a beer to watch SPURS play MILLWALL in the cup.
Dinner already prepared, so the afternoon in ALL MINE. !!!!

4am is a disgaceful time to discharge an elderly lady who has had a stroke and living on her own !!!!!!!!. I have heard of this happening too often. Frank maybe it is the effect of the stoke which is makingit difficult for her to wee.Or maybe the Catheter was blocked.Whatever ,someone of her age and disability should NEVER be sent home at that time of night. SCANDALOUS.
So off to Devon again :-D Nice to be back beside the seaside :-D
James is home !!!!! He got it wrong ..It is Jess's Grandma's birthday next weekend. But he isn't going :-) So he says at the moment.
It looks like it is brightening up a bit here now.

Afternoon all,
No sun today it's been cloudy all day,we had a little drizzle first thing but it's seems quite mild out .
Frank that's just awful sending your sister home at that time of the morning what were they thinking ,i hope she's feeling a bit more comfortable now . That will be nice to have a few days by the sea ,you might be able to have a little walk out when you go this time if the knee is ok .
Jane what a lovely photo of you and Hannah ,it would be a nice one to frame. How is Thomas now ? do you think he'd been up on the roof again trying to get in when you were all out last night ?
We're having a lazy day ,we seem to do that on a sunday now :-D the family came this morning so all the toys were out ,Max is a monkey if he can grab one of the toys and run off with it he will :-D at the moment he is dreaming and keeps giving these little barks and his legs are running i you know what i mean .

Mandy I love to see dogs in 'dream land' . I can just see him running off with the toys too.Chester used to be just like that.. I don't think Thomas would have been up on the roof.More likely he has done something to his leg climbing a fence or jumping down and landing awkwardly.Who knows what he was up to :-S He definitely isn't his normal self. I thought that pic of Hannah and me was a nice one. You should have seen some of the other pics :-S Got a nice one too of Gareth and Chris..I will send that one.

Yes smashing pic of Hannah and you Jane. What a lovely remeberance of her birthday dinner out with the family.
Sun's out here now the tractor run is over but there's an awful cold wind. Makes you want to stay inside in the warm.
How on earth can they discharge an old lady at 4am in the morning. Her house would be cold for her to go back into and how did she get home at that time anyway? That is utterly unacceptable and they should be reported for an act like that.

Lovely photo's Jane, they're certainly ones to keep. Poor Thomas, will you need to take him to the vet?
4am Frank what a silly time to discharge someone, your poor sister. How is she now, she must be shattered, I don't suppose she got much sleep. So you're off to Devon again, that'll be something to look forward to.
Oh how sweet to see Max sleeping Mandy, he's probably dreaming of running off with the toys :-D :-D
That's nice to win a tenner Mel, don't spent it all at once LOL ;-) ;-) Hope the itching isn't to bad after your tablet.
We had sun all morning so decided to cut the bush down, it looks so much brighter now, but the hedge behind it has died away with having no light on it for so long, we're going to see if we can put something in front of it to hide it. When we cut the bush down there was a lovely large Camelia behind it, with pink flowers and lots of buds. It looks so pretty. We timed it just right as it started raining just as we'd finished, just the fine rain but at least the job was done by then.
Watching the final of "The Jump" tonight. Sandra likes that programme, must be all the snow LOL :-D ;-)

Evening all
Those photos certainly showed you were all having a good time Jane, nice to hear you enjoyed your meal. You made a good choice of booking. I do hope Thomas hasn't seriously hurt himself, perhaps he needs an xray just in case
Frank I can't believe the treatment your poor sister had, I'm glad that her son is taking it further, no matter what age you are 4 o/c in the morning is an unearthly hour to be discharged. people wouldn't be discharged from prison at that time of night, So you have another trip to Devon to look forward to Conrad sounds like a really caring son.
Ruby has been a right little bundle of mischief today she is always over excited when the girls are here. I taught her yesterday to retrieve her tennis ball and bring it back to me after I had rolled it across the floor for her. We had roast lamb today and the usual veg and Yorkshire puds
I had a smile about Max pinching the girls toys, Amy use to that when our two were a lot younger, I love watching dogs dreaming with their legs in a running motion and little low barks it makes you wonder what images they are seeing in their sleep

Morning all
Another sunny morning here today, although a bit on the chilly side. OH has just raked all the dead leaves onto the front lawn and is using the lawn mower to get them all up, it saves time in picking them all up and can now just go straight in the bin.
How lovely to teach Ruby to retrieve the tennis ball Anne, they'll be no stopping her learning now as it sounds like lots of fun.
Nothing much planned for today apart from taking a look at the car for sale next door and ringing the insurance to see how much it'll be. The MOT runs out on our car in three days so we need to buy a new one by then or we'll have no car. Our old one costs more than the car is worth to fix it, so it's time for a change. The car is smaller than the one we have now but the price is good and there's only 26,000 miles on the clock which OH said was very good for it's age.
I watched the first of Gardeners World yesterday off the planner, but with Sandra putting in a few films it stopped before the end. I'm hoping it was just on for half an hour so I only missed a few minutes and not more. I've said that'll we'll having to be careful not to do the same thing this week as Monty Don said that they will be doing a few hour ones, but didn't say when.
I'm going to take another look at my family tree today, I seem to be on a roll so thought I'd carry on and finish off the line I'm on to the present day if I can. What is everyone else up to today?

Good morning all, evening Kim,
We have a clear blue sky morning here. With the yellow thing in the sky. It was so warm in the bungalow this morning, that the HEATING didn't come on.
I have had to change my eye appointment at the hospital which was 12.40pm 26th March. Now it's sometime in April at 8.30 am. What a time, when all the roads around the hospital will be packed with works traffic !!!
I have to be a Supersavers at 11,40 this morning, but don't really want to buy new glass's until I have seen the hospital, so I could be another month without glass's.
Conrad caught a flight back to Spain at 7.00 am this morning so he will be landing anytime now, Gawd knows what time he was up this morning. He should sleep well tonight.
Madam was in the garden again yesterday, and no doubt as soon as we get back from Town she will be out there again.
Dogs do make you smile when they dream. They lay and whimper and have the twitches. So nice to see and wold love to know what's in their heads. Bless em!!!
I had better get my skates on and get showered. See you later.

Morning all,
Nothing to report here today but its dry and the sun is trying to come out but the skies are grey out the front so I suppose they will be the same out the back.
Not been up long. Had another night when I could'nt go to sleep. Kept thinking of Frank and the things he says aboput your mind going round andround. Then I heard oh get up and then back into bed again and heard him get up this morning early.
He is out on the mower somewhere now as I can hear it. He is probably going to look and see what the top field looks like after all the tractors were parked on it yesterday.

Good afternoon All
Lovely sunny warm today
Amy had an appointment with the veterinary nurse this morning, she had the advocate injection which prevents parasites all but ticks so that comes later, she was very good and had put on 500 grams in 2 weeks and is the correct weight for her age and breed. Two weeks time back to see the vet and another 4 weeks the nurse again,
How is Thomas today? I hope it isn't a break as he won't like being confined to Barracks bless him.
Saturday the local gutter cleaning firm came as arranged to clear the gutters, I mentioned when on the phone the down pipe leaked when it rained so they were going to fix that at the same time, the chap arrived on time with everything he needed, after he completed the task he said the down pipe was ok, however when it rained hard yesterday we still had the leak, I rang them this morning and they are sending someone else next week. The chap's name was Rafael and with me trying to explain the situation, just try to imagine Manuel from Fawlty Towers :-S :-S.

Afternoon from a still very sunny Northants.
Had a thorough eye test this morning. Ros thought we had run off together. It took well over an hour. It was greed I only need reading glass's. I picked out some frames £25.00 plus the reading lens £10.00 So all done and dusted for £35.00. Last time they were nearer £400.00 They will be ready next Monday when I have to go and have drops in my eyes for her to see round the back of my eyes. She wants me to attend the hospital Appointment, as she thinks they are keeping an eye (not a pun) on something in my eyes.
Ros is in the garden as expected. Having a tidy up round the arch, Honeysuckle and Passion flower. Prawn and Chicken Curry tonight. I have just sat and peeled a box of prawns, to go with the cold chicken that's in the fridge.
Anne, What a job trying to explain yourself to Manuel. LOL LOL. Hope they find the reason for the down pipe to leak. It might need a new one.
How is Thomas today Jane, ?? less limping I hope. xx
Mel, I was in bed by 10.20 pm last night and still awake at 3.00 am then again at 7.15 am So I didn't get a lot of sleep either. Lets hope tonight will be better.
Might go to the pub tonight Man Utd V Chelsea. It's on BBC so I can watch it at home if I don't fancy going out.
