Afternoon all or it will be by the time I post this.
Suns out here and oh let me sleep till 10 to 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I said to him why did'nt you wake me up and he said he had tried three times but I looked so comfy he left me. It was nice and warm though as he had had the heating on for me.
I had a very strange dream last night, or should I say this morning. I was going to collect my nan who had been to some sort of class. I was in a car and waiting outside when this young boy came up. I asked him if he was meeting someone and he said yes his nan. I asked him if he would like a lift back and he said no he would be ok and was soming on his byke tomorrow. The next day there I was again outside waiting for nan and up the road riding his byke was the young lad, but what a byke!! It was tubular steel and the front wheel was a bent siral with big gaps and bent sideways and dented you would'nt have thought it would gon in a straight line. From the back there was a large steel pipe that just seemed to come from knowhere which must have had the saddle on. I could'nt tell you what the back wheel was like as I don't remember seeing that but it must have been there as I watched him ride away from me in a perfect straight line up the road. Then I woke up.

Late on Parade this morning/Afternoon almost. Good day to you all.
Ros had a phone call from Margaret last night to say she had caught her thumb in a food mixer and damaged it rather badly. She lives next door but one to the Doctors, so she wrapped it in a tea towel and rushed round there. They have patched her up with needle and thread, and bandaged it all up. So needless to say she didn't go to "LINUS" this morning, and won't be at "STITCHERY DO" tomorrow.
I did a silly thing for supper, I ate a tray of mussels with vinegar and pepper. They were so tasty (throughout the night) and made me cough quite a lot, which didn't please Madam. So this morning I just have some Weetabix.
Ros went off about 9.00 am this morning, she didn't think she would stay for the day. So will drop off her and Margaret's Quilts and pick up more material for the months work at home. She's then going into Town to get Grow Bags, shopping then home. We are going back into town to pick up my Glass's. This evening she is going to see Martine as it's her 60th Birthday. We have bought her some lovely GOLD ear rings. THEN she has offered to take me to our little eatery for a meal. I must be in her good books. !!!
As it's Martines birthday tomorrow, we have been invited to a party at Brian's Rugby Club on Saturday evening. Won't be our scene, but we will stay an hour or so. The MUSIC will be driving me mad by then.
It's lovely to see dogs that are well trained as those three must have been Anne. I always spent time with all my dogs in the passed, training them to behave and to come on command.
Many years ago I went to Amsterdam on my own (after separation from my Ex) It was a ticket I had over for prizes for anyone who bought a car that particular month. A weekend in Amsterdam or Paris. The one over was for Amsterdam. I flew from East Midlands to Amsterdam. Bus to the hotel, on the canal side. I walked almost everywhere. Anna Franks house, the flower Market on another canal, the Royal Palace.I had a evening meal on the Canal Saturday and Sunday evening and flew back Monday. Most enjoyable time, at a difficult time in my life. I DIDN'T GO TO THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT. (too far to walk) LOL LOL. I hope they enjoy their trip Jane.
I had a turn this morning while in the shower, I felt faint, grabbed hold of the two hand grips on the wall to steady myself. I opened to shower door a grabbed a bath towel and sat on the toilet. I sat there for 5 minutes and went to lay on the bed. Head feels a bit dizzy, so I am taking my time with what I do.
See you all later.

How lovely was that from Sandra <3 <3. You are very good Mel. Making that sewing box for her.
Sun is shining and I can feel the warmth through the window, in fact I think it's warmer out than it is in.
Ros came back with a loaded car of Grow Bags. In the passed I could pick one up throw it over my shoulder and walk it down the garden. This time Ros had to get one end and me the other and we have stacked them down the side of the drive. I will get the barrow up tomorrow and try to move them down the garden. They will need to be opened and put into my Potato Bags, ready for my seed potato's.
Ros altered some curtains for Tracy next door. She has just come in with a beautiful display of lillie's in a bowl. When they finish flowering Ros will dry them out for next year.
Oh Mel, Fancy your OH letting you sleep that long. Were you VERY LATE to bed last night. ?? What a STRANGE DREAM. I can remember some dreams, and some are so weird. ;-) ;-) ;-)
Well Madam has had a drink, and is now ready to take me to get my glass's. I will SEE you all LATER.

I've caught up with some of the posts now, it took a while for Sandra to type what she wanted to say, I helped her with her spelling and how to use the laptop, she put lots more kisses for you Mel, but when I posted it for her it stretched right across the screen and you couldn't see half of what she'd written so I had to go back into it and delete some of the kisses which seems to have solved the problem.
It's gone really dark here, looks like we might get a bit of rain and after such a lovely sunny day yesterday. One of OH's work mates husband came round yesterday with his chainsaw and took the rest of the apple tree stump out, OH was struggling with his electric saw, so that was nice of him and it's all done now. It only took him half an hour, the stump was a lot bigger than OH first thought.
My favourite colour used to be Royal Blue, but is now pink Mel, although I do like red too. I DON'T like Green or Orange though. :-| :-| That was a good lie in you had this morning you must of needed it. What a strange dream you had.
All these Ghost stories, when we first moved in here I had a strange feeling when I went in the front bedroom and once I saw a young girl about 9 years old with long black hair and a white sort of nightie on, Michelle saw her too. Mum is very religious and gave me some sort of prayer she had on a piece of paper I've put it in the room and ever since, all has been quiet. I still don't sleep in there, it's supposed to be the main bedroom but we use the other double room instead.
How good were those dogs you saw Ann, like you said most dogs would be running off as soon as the lead was taken off them. She certainly had them trained well didn't she? You plants sound nice, pity about the tree that's being knocked all the time though.
Sandra and I like your story of Max with his bowl Mandy. He's sounds quite a character....bless him.
Sorry to hear about your funny turn this morning Frank, was the shower to hot that made you feel faint? That sometimes happens to me and I have to go outside to cool off.
Sandra's just shown her dad the present Mel sent her and he said it's lovely. She didn't have a nice sewing box and now she has <3 <3

I'm so pleased Sandra liked it Gill.
Tell her many thanks for all those kisses and the love she sent me.
I told you in a post that you would definately see what I was crafting and now you have in the flesh so to speak. The box looked a little plain but I found the pretty label and thought it would look nice on the lid which I think just finished it off.
The only person who knew what I was making is Mandy as I needed someone to tell me what she thought of it. I am now going to make myself one of the scissor holders.
Oh in from mowing so be back later.

I have sent you all pictures of what I made Sandra. The pics of the finished present I took on my old camera by mistake as they are so alike and I have to ask oh to download those for me as I can't. When he does it I will show it wrapped up with its bow.
I did'nt take a picture of the mouse but you have seen those before.

I've passed your message onto Sandra Mel. You are clever making all those little things inside the box, I had to explain what a few things were like the threader to help her thread the needles and she loves the book to put the needles in as well.
We've just finished watching a really good true story film I recorded, Sandra said I chose well.

I knew Sandra would be pleased with her stitching box from Mel when i saw it , there's lots of work gone into making it so pretty and you've Sandra a happy bunny Mel .
Hope you soon feel better Jane ,nothing worse than feeling sick. The puppy sounds lively but then the Cocker Spaniels are and she's still very young ,i love the name Ivy :-D
Are you feeling better now Frank after your funny turn ?, hope the reading glasses are right this time so you can read with them ok.
DIL's birthday tomorrow so i've made a pretty flower arrangement for her this time i've done it in a large mug so when the flowers die she can have the mug for her coffee . The parcel arrived with the Crocs or DIL they are a size 6 but they look really broard across the front so i have a feeling they will have to go back !!

Evening All,
Sorry you are feeling icky Jane and I hope it soon passes. I think there are lots of bugs around just now. I have had tummy ache the last couple of days and we have both felt so tired today. OH went for a lie down for just a few minutes after lunch and didn't surface till gone 5.00pm!! Little Ivy sounds lovely! :-)
Well, what a lovely present you made for Sandra Mel!! It was a great idea and looks so nice in Sandra's favourite PINK! It is unique as no-one else will have one like it and useful for her to keep things together for her sewing too. You have made a lovely job of it and I like that it has her name too. :-) :-)
I have sold one of my cameras with the adverts I did recently and the lady's address is a watermill in Devon. I googled it and found that she and her husband have spent 10 years restoring it back to working order!! :-) I must check if it has any times it is open.
Still no window cleaner today so it looks like he isn't coming this week.
I have sorted another drawer today, so the bedroom is almost finished now. Then there's the next things on the list!!
I hope Frank's ok now..... I hope he's been reading and resting.

Hope you feel better tomorrow Jane. Its horrid when you get a day like that and you keep thinking of all the things you should be doing but don't have the get up and go to do them and then they are still there the next day. <3 <3
Thanks for the comments about Sandra's sewing box and yes it was a lot of work but I really enjoyed doing it and to have a girl to do it for as I have the two boys next door but of course they don't like girly things so it was a real pleasure to do for Sandra.
I did put a load of cotton reels in it too so she has most of the colours she likes to use on her sewing machine.
<3 <3 Happy Birthday Pat <3 <3
Has anyone heard from Fiona? I hope she is getting on ok and is feeling better. x

Evening all
That is a very pretty sewing basket with all the sewing extras to go in, I can understand how pleased she is with it Mel and a nice idea having her name on it.
Hope you feel better tomorrow Jane, little Ivy sounds like she would be an ideal playmate for Ruby, my Mum's name was Ivy but was always called Bobby.
I wonder how long it took the lady to train her 3 dogs to have that many they do need to be obedient when out and about.
Did you get your new glasses today Frank, if so I hope they make a difference. No more feeling feint hopefully, it could be low blood pressure,
I had to smile visualising young Max shuffling on his bottom to his food Mandy
Just starting to watch Me and My Dog on BBC 2 one of them looks like Max
Happy Birthday to Pat <3 <3 <3 <3

I had an Aunt called Ivy, mum's next older sibling and 13 years older than her. Her eldest sibling was born in 1899, 28 years older than Mum who was the youngest of 9. Her eldest sibling had 12 children, some of my many, many cousins that I have never seen.
Fiona posted on FB yesterday that she had just had her hair coloured by her daughter and wasn't renewing her Genes subs. She hoped we would keep in touch by FB or emails. I thought she looked brighter than before and she hadn't posted on FB for ages so it looks like she is feeling a bit better now. :-)
It's good you have taught Max to wait for his food when you tell him to Mandy.........it seems he loves his grub though and shuffles towards it. :-)

Just done a fresh count of my first cousins as I knew I'd found a few more since I last did it. Two of my uncles never married or had children, but the rest produced 65 that are my first cousins!! Imagine getting all those presents and cards at Christmas and Birthdays if they had done that sort of thing!! My parents only had infrequent contact with just one or two though so there weren't even any cards sent.

Good morning to you all, evening Kim,
Yet another bad night. was tucked up by 11.00 pm. Still awake when Ros came in at 12.30 (Early for her also)
My sister was on my mind, and I laid thinking of how I could be more help to her and her son. I am thinking of ringing a niece or nephew to see if one of them would come and collect me, and I would stay with her for a couple of weeks. When I spoke with her yesterday afternoon, she had just got back from Hospital. She was admitted on Sunday morning with a KIDNEY INFECTION and more water works problems. Her sugar levels are very high I think she mentioned 19.8 if that makes any sense to anyone. Her weight is going down, she weighed under NINE STONE with her big dressing gown on. So she is not well at all. I must have woke 10 times in the night thinking of her.
Disappointed with the service at the pub last night. We were there at 6.00 pm and never got our meal till almost 7.00 pm. I made my thoughts known to the staff, if they had been busy, I could have understood, BUT THEY WERN'T.
I have had to promise Ros that I won't try to move the grow bags on my own, they are much bigger than the usual ones we get and twice as heavy. If I see a couple of teenagers going by, I will offer them a TENNER to more them for me. I can't have Ros trying to move them on her own. I DON'T LIKE THIS AGE THING. :-P :-P :-P
Going to sit and rest for an hour, while everywhere is quiet. Dos won't be back till 2/3 pm.
