I think I started to watch it Jane but could'nt stand all the shouting. I just don't want to see things like that. I like something I can relax with or something old fashioned.
Oh had some chicken noodle soup for his lunch. He came out after I had had my 2 ham rolls. At least he has something inside him.
I am now going in the garden as he has taken himself off to the study.

Chicken Noodle Soup. I love it. Haven't had it for years though. That would have been good for OH Mel. Back when I was young it came in a packet .Don't remember if it was Batchelors or what make. But it was my favourite.
Mel I have sent you 2 emails.
Dinner in for J&J now before they go off to the wedding do. Chris is going to take them to the venue while I cook our dinner.. I will have to remember to keep my eye on Benjy as he might be trying to find Jess ! Thomas will no doubt be keeping his eye on Benjy too LOL

Evening all
Been a lovely day here today so I've been out in the garden. The antibiotics are now working so no more dizziness :-)
That was a strange dream Mel, yes, did you get your cup of tea in the end
Sounds like Thomas is getting used to Benjy now Jane rather than hiding under the chair like he did before. Jess's dress sounds nice, is it a friends wedding?
So you had a good nights sleep finally Frank, I bet you feel great now. Let's hope you have another good night tonight. Hope your sister is feeling a bit better now.
It's been very quiet on here today hasn't it?

Good evening all
Another warm day here too, this morning I went with Paul and the girls for breakfast at the Old Manor in Bracknell it's a Weatherstones pub and very reasonable, Richard was home with Ruby then both him and Paul went to South Hill Park where they have a free Food and Folk Festival in the grounds over the weekend.
Pleased to hear you haven't got that dizziness anymore Gill, we have a lot of tubs in the garden but not as many as you.
It sounds as though Thomas and Benji have called a truce Jane, I hope he is a good little dog when Jess and James are out and they have a lovely time.. We had the same trouble with our new settee when it was delivered, our last house was three story town house with the sitting room upstairs and although the old one went in and out with no trouble this one was impossible and the only solution was to take the large window frame out and get it in that way fortunately it came from my Dad's shop and it was his employees that delivered it to us.
When I had breast cancer I had to have both MRI and CAT scans and like Jane I used to close my eyes and think of one of my favourite walks and also deep breathing exercises.
When the boys were young Mark & Paul both to suffer from motion sickness and seeing them being sick meant that Richard was also sick so we always travelled with a car full of sick bags when going on holiday.Richard still remembers being sick over his favourite Action Man when we were going to Wales.
You do have some interesting dreams Mel mine are very ordinary if I can remember them.
I hope everyone has a good nights sleep

Evening All,
Yes it has been nice today with that bit of breeze. Glad you are on the mend Gill and feeling a lot better. It is really horrid when you feel dizzy.
I imagine that the green dress colour really suits Jess with her dark hair Jane. It sounds like Benji and Thomas have called a truce although it does sound like Thomas is trying to cover Benji's scent up with his own!!
The man who was giving a quote for the pointing we need doing rang and asked to come today instead of tomorrow as his son is in a football tournament tomorrow. That suited us better too so he came and gave us a rough price but will let us know in the next couple of days. It looks like it will be around £700 as nearly all the bottom bricks round the whole bungalow need doing.
I got some silver cleaner today to clean the cup I won last year. They will be asking for it back in a couple of months and there were some bits of tarnish on it!! I put the rest of the plants in I bought this week except for the snapdragons which OH says he will do tomorrow. I told him to make sure he doesn't put 2 next to each other in the same colour. There are no flowers on them yet and he swears he won't be able to tell the difference, but you can as the foliage is tinged different colours!! :-S lol. He was very chuffed he got some praise at the meeting he went to yesterday though. Apparently he is the most knowledgeable and experienced in the county in the complaints work he does! :-)
I've been taking anti histamines this last week as I've noticed my eyes itching and nose running. It must be all the flower pollen.

Gill I am pleased you have lost the dizziness at last and are now feelin gmore like your normal self, raring to go in the garden.
I gave oh an anti hystamine yesterday and today and he says his legs feel a bit better today. They certainly don't look so red and blotchy on the backs.
Ann I know what you mean about the coluors of the leaves on the bunny rabbits being different so you can tell which are different colours. Thats what I go by too. I must get mine in tomorrow as I have had them two weeks now.
I have been up the border this afternoon and got on quite well. Sad to say that my bearded iris are now over. I wish they lasted longer but my other kind of flat iris has buds showoing colour so that will be out next. The peonies are out too, well two of them. I bought a pack of two in Morrisons I think it was and potted them up first to make sure they were going to grow and only one shot so I pulled the other one out and was just going to put it in the wheelbarrow when I noticed a little red shoot,. I had planted it upside down!!!!!!!!!!! turned it around and now its doing fine. :-D
O Jane your poor hands. They must be so uncomfortable. You've had this a long while now.
O fireworks going off over the big house. Be back in a min.

They were'nt that good but a few big bangs which won't please Susannah as it upsets the horses. They are not aloud really but I suppose once they have started its hard to make them stop.
That was a nice picture of James and Jess you sent Jane. He is sooooooo like Chris.
Well I am off now for a shower and have a relax.
See you in the morning, night night.

Off to bed myself now Mel, hope you have a better nights sleep with no more strange dreams.
Just watching the news and it looks like there has been a few incidents in London. A van has hit people on London Bridge, I think they said a few people have been killed and there is talk of stabbings in the Borough Market area. There are armed police on London Bridge. It's just come on the news so I'm not sure what exactly has happened. There's something about Vauxhall Station but I'm not sure what that is. They've just said they are opening the station now, so public transport is open again. But it looks like London Bridge is being locked down. What is the world coming to, this is happening far to often now.

Good morning fair folk, evening Kim,
I won't voice my opinion on this latest TERROR ATTACH. Needless to say I have very strong opinions on the matter.
Well it had to happen some time. I had just emptied the grass box for the first time yesterday afternoon. Went to put the box back on, and lost my balance. Down I went like a sack of SPUDS. I went down on my right hip, then my shoulder and head followed. I laid there for a few minutes to catch my breath and thoughts. Not being able to get up, I called for Ros. The calls turned to "Shouts." When a neighbour at the bottom of the garden called to me to see if I was alright . Finally Ros came out. I got her to get chair so I could pull myself up. Which I did and sat for 10 minutes to check I was alright. After glass of WATER. I was able to complete the lawn.
Jane I thought of that Bernard Cribbins song last night "RIGHT SAID FRED" and that made me think of poor Hannah and the sofa. If back I had a good chuckle to myself. I have been singing that tune this morning.
Glad everyone seems fit and well now. Just take things a bit slower. We are all getting that bit older ;-) ;-) ;-)
What a way to Celebrate your Anniversary. !! We had our Chinese delivery which was excellent, it is one Martine recommended, will use it again. I then suggested that I went to the pub to watch the football while she sat in peace and quiet and watched the Finals of BGT. When I was ready to come home, I rang our number only to be told "You do not have enough CREDIT to make this call." So rather go back into the pub and borrow a phone. I walked home. Ros was not at all happy. :-0 :-0 :-0 This morning I am very sore down my right side.
Breezy morning here with BIG white clouds floating by.
Will pop back this afternoon/ evening after our meal out.

<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Happy Anniversary Frank and Ros <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Morning all,
Frank I do hope your not too sore from yesterdays fall. We keep telling you to take care even more if Ros is out.
What a terrible thing in London last night. Every time I hear there's been an incident in London I think of Hannah living there. It plays on my mind so it must play terrible on Jane and Chris's. There were so many armed police there at London Bridge. I have never seen so many police vehicles together in one spot before.
My heart goes out to everyone who was scared by these thugs and to those injured. I think last night they said there was one death but I hav'nt seen any news this morning.

Afternoon all
Sunny but cloudy too with a nip in the air. OH and I have re-potted some more pots and cleaned out the old ones this morning.
So far Mel there are 7 dead and 48 injured in London. I've been thinking about Hannah too, hope she wasn't caught up in it. Jane and Chris must be at their wits end with worry. These terror attacks are happening far to often now and there doesn't seem to be anything that can be done to stop it.
Please be careful Frank, you'll do yourself a serious injury one day. Hope you are feeling a little better today and the soreness goes soon for you <3 Was it your Anniversary yesterday or today? <3 <3 <3 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY <3 <3 <3
Just had a lovely bath so I'm off to dry my hair now. I'm going to colour it tomorrow now I'm feeling better. The antibiotics kicked in quite quickly so I'm not dizzy at all now and only have a few more days to take them then the course will be finished. The last time I was that bad was when we went to the Ruby Wedding party and we had to come home early. Hope it's not going to be something that keeps happening :-(

Suns come out here now but there is still white clouds in the sky.
I have seen a baby Robin down by my shed who is just getting his or her red breast. I definately lost my shed Robin and maybe his wife too. I am hoping that this one will get as tame as Robby did and come in the shed. I threw it some mealworms this morning but it flew off into the big beech tree.
Another thing is that the hawk has been through the garden and left me feather, guts and two legs and feet just under the bird feeder outside the kitchen window. I must sweep up whats left.
I know these sparrow hawks and other hawks have to feed their babies and it is a way of bird life but I don't like it.......Why can't they take the blimmin Jackdaws that keep eating all my chicken food. I had NO eggs this morning so no todays for the big breakfast. Just as well I only took Em a half a dozen big eggs and 7 bantams yesterday. That was the first time I had seen them all for three weeks.

I like most people feel absolutely devastated by what went on in London last night. Ros often asked why I don't take her to London to see the sites that I knew so well, having worked in the City for many years. I said when things like this happen, you know why I don't want to be going round in crowds. I know if everyone took that attitude travelling to London or any major City would stop. I know we must beat these terrorists, but not to risk your own lives. The times I have walked over the bridges of the Thames is beyond numbers. But of course it was safe to do so in the 50s and 60s.
Ros did a bit of hedge trimming this morning until the rain stopped play. It is quite persistant now. Pam the neighbour blamed Ros for the rain as she was doing a bit of trimming !!!
Had a message this morning from an old school friend in Australia, she asked how my sister was. I explained how she had had a Stroke and a fall, and said I would keep her informed.
Our Anniversary was Yesterday, but today we are going out for lunch to celebrate, if you can call it that. Ros doesn't drink, so I will have my usual couple of pints.
I am a bit tottery on my feet this morning, so there is no chance that I will go out without my stick. ;-) ;-) ;-)

What's happened to Robby Mel? Have I missed a post about him not being around? What a shame lets hope the new Robin becomes tame for you. We've been watching the baby blackbirds looking for worms in our garden. We called one, a female, wonky as her tail lent to one side. I was a bit concerned for her as she kept falling asleep on the grass and we have a few cats that come into our garden. I've not seen her for a few days so I hope she didn't come to any harm and learnt not to sleep on the ground.
I'm like you Mel, I don't like seeing birds being killed for food, but like you said it's the way birds have to be to survive.
Good idea to take your stick out Frank, do be careful and enjoy yourselves. Sorry the happy anniversary was a day late. Hope the rain stops before you go out for your meal.
Just going to watch Gogglebox I recorded last night, Sandra and I love that programme, it's so funny sometimes.
The sun has come out again here, but the wind is picking up and it's not very warm. We're suppose to be getting bad weather tomorrow, which is why I've decided to colour my hair as I won't be able to do anything in the garden.

Afternoon All More horrenous atrocities in London last night :-( :-( :-(. I was just thinking of goingto bed when the news broke.I ended up going to bed just after 1am. I tried to contact Hannah to check she had not been in that area but got no reply until this morning. I think she had been asleep when it all happened so didn't know until she got up. It is such a worry but I always tell myself that the chances of being in the wrong place at the wrong time is so remote.I can keep myself sane that way.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY FRANK AND ROS. <3 <3 I hope you aren't too sore ans shaken up Frank after being in the wars yet again !!. Hopefully now you are both enjoying your Anniversary lunch xx
It is looking like rain might not be too far off so I won't be putting the washing on the line now. It will have to be the drier
Benjy was quite good for me last night but he did a poo on Thomas's food mat :-S :-S.It was just after J &J had gone so it might just have been a bit of stress. Chris noticed it but left me to pick it up :-P
Jess will have to change her route in London getting home tonight as she would normally go via London Bridge station. She changed her mind on wearing her green dress last night (as you will have seen :-) ).She did look lovely .
Lunch now I think .I can feel my tummy rumbling.

Pleased to hear Hannah is okay although you must of been worried when you couldn't get through to her on the phone.
Poor Benjy missing Jess like that. It would of been nice if Chris had cleaned it up though.
I meant to say how nice the photo was you sent but with all the news last night I forgot to mention it. I thought you had gone colour blind with saying her dress was green ;-) ;-) They both looked very nice, did they have a good time?
Hope the rain stopped before Frank and Ros went out, there's nothing worse than rain. Mind you us Brits are used to it aren't we?
We've watched one of the Googlebox's and are about to watch the second one now. Then we are going to watch some films that are on channel 5. OH has just nipped out for some chocolate as a surprise for Sandra as she always says "You can't watch films without sweets"......I'm sure she thinks this is the cinema...bless her <3 He's getting us some too, yum yum :-)

I too thought the dress was'nt green as Jane had said. I thought it was just me but now realize why she was in a black patterned one.
I am so glad you have heard from Hannah and she has put your mind at rest.
Poor Jess having to make a round a bout route home tonight. Keep safe.
Suns still out here and after my dinner has gone down a bit I am going up the boarder.
