No Mel nobody seemed to be taking any notice of it so perhaps it was a malfunction on the van ,it was going when I was at the bottom of the road and by the time I had got nearer it had stopped,I crossed over and went to the butchers in the precinct and it was gone when I came past to go to Boots .

Suns lovely and I hung Max's bedding out and it's all dry ,first lot of washing out this year.

Iv'e been in the garden this morning. I did both pond filters and started to sweep the upper deck by my pond. I is so covered in moss I am having to scrape it off before I sweep it. My back started to ache a bit so I have come in for some lunch and will go back out afterwards.

Mandy did you speak to the driver in the van? or did anyone call the police?

Nice bright sunshine and I've just been into town ,it was quite chilly walking in the shade but nice in the sun as I walked up church street I heard a siren sound it was coming from the security van saying " call the police this van is being attacked " no one was taking any notice and I was a bit weary just incase it was as it was delivering to the bank ,it just kept repeating it over and over ,just as I got near it it stopped and I could see the driver in the front seat .
I went to the butchers to get meat and saw Jake ,went to boots for our tablets and called and got Colins glasses as he couldn't walk up today as he's pulled a muscle in his leg doing some jobs outside.

Now having a coffee before doing some more jobs ,not going out in the garden I need to break myself in ,don't want to get backache .

Bit misty here this morning after a frost and there's hazy sunshine pc low temps to drop by next Monday and its 7 degrees here now.

A beautiful morning here after a chilly night.

I'm thinking of taking a trip to a country park not too far away, as I haven't been there for ages. We have had fine days for a while now, so hopefully the muddy paths will have dried up a bit. I will chance wearing stout trainers, as I don't really want to wear my wellies, which are great and cosy, but more cumbersome when on and off the 2 buses to get where I need to go.

I just found the previous post sitting waiting for me to post it when I opened up the PC this morning. I am amazed as I switched the PC off and pulled out the plug last night and it ran an update when I switched on this morning. I had obviously forgotten to post it, but I am amaazes it didn't get automatically deleted.

slept ok right through until 0430 but then couldn't get back to proper sleep, just dozed I suppose my body thought 4-5 hours was sufficient.

Being picked up at 10 O'clock. so had better get on now.

My back door is set back from the outside of the bungalow so there's a covered bit but it is open to the outside. I once had Blue Tits nesting in the extractor fan in the kitchen.

Mandy, I think Mel said the blue tit was behind an outside plug. I wouldn't fancy it in the kitchen.

I'm OK but I've had 2 attacks of ocular or retinal migraine today and I can't see the screen properly so I'm signing off now. Hopefully will be back tomorrow.

No no no the plugs are outside in the porchy bit to the back door I'll send a photo tomorrow. Its a line of plugs oh cut to fit under the porch to plug the pond filter in and an outside light I can turn on from indoors with a special switch. Its sort of triangular with the plugs on the front but there is a gap in the back one end and thats the end the birds goes in. I have heard it pecking about in there .

No pancakes for us tonight as we had pasties and mixed veg so after having pastry we couldn't have eaten pancakes so we'll probably have then tomorrow.

We've not heard from Vera today hope she's ok.

Well tonight I went out to feed the girls their corn had a little walk up the back field but when I went out the back door I thought I saw the blue tit which I think is roosting behind the outdoor plugs for the pond light etc. When I came back and took my boots off and wshed my hands I went for the towel on the cooker and saw movement and there was the little Blue Tit on the wires so I waited very still and low and behold I saw it go behind the plugs. So I was right and Robert said it could'nt get in there.

Iv'e made my pancakes and a cherry pie and with the left over pastry did a turn over thing with cheese bacon and tomato and I had that for a late lunch.

I can eat four if they are nice and thin and it has to be lemon and sugar for me too.

Picked up a few sticks of the orchard grass and opened my shed top door so Jenny Wren and Robby can go in and eat the dead flies up and Robby has fat sticks and sunflower seeds in a dish in there.

Shopping came one sub and that was the celery which I am not really happy about but need it for some soup and a casserole so I kept it. Thing is its the celery sticks and they all look like outside stalks no heart sticks at all plus they charge you more for that!!!!

Hope you walk tomorrow dos'nt tire you too much Anng. If you have others with you it won't be so bad cos the chatter will take your mind off the tiredness.

Right pill time and lunch time and I need to make some soup and a cherry pie and a casserole but I may make that tomorrow..

Well I am not sure that it was a good idea having to be reasonably fit for tomorrows walk through the park and museum, however, I am just back from walking round to get my prescription and coming back the long way round including a visit to Tesco for a few bits. Two small bags to carry home with the prescriptions, not too heavy but I feel tired now. Luckily I slept a bit better last night. Still woke several times but went straight back to sleep after a loo trip. I should think it was just over a mile walking, plus walking round Tesco.

Lovely sunny morning again after a slight frost ,I've just come In for a coffee after doing a bit in the front garden ,going to stop now as I've dons a good hour and I don't want to aggravate my back.

Yes Mel pancake day , how many can you eat :-D they do freeze well so any spare you could freeze for another day .
Got to be Lemon and sugar for us on our pancakes .
