Well just typed a long thread and accidently deleted it. Anyway it was a bit too long.

I took Jasper to the vet this morning .I was charged another thirty pound and the vet gave me some steroid tablets for an itching problem and his cream for the scabby lower funiture. Michelle said she is thinking of taking them to the small claims court. But how do you prove they did Jaspers injury only my word against theres. They say they did not.

My mum did me cheese and beetroot sandwiches but I used to take off the top piece of bread and remove the beetroot and liked the taste of where it had been on the cheese. what a waste of beetroot.
Oh the very mention of prams and being put outside. My mum always told the story of me strangling the kitty that jumped into my pram from the small wall where I had been placed. I was three years old and I choked the poor kitten. I felt like a cat murderer. Big brother threw leaves in my face also.

Alice in Wonderland Shirl cannot see me falling down a small hole in a tree. More like the Mad Hatter. Me. I would love to be the Cheshire Cat.

We have a spider roams the lounge at night and flys get squibbed and do not die right away and my ho moans that I am cruel I sould finish them
off properly .Instead of flicking them down the plug hole. I do try to get them out the window first.

Well at lloclock I went into the shop to serve for one hour .I had been in 10 minutes and a man came in with a huge tray of sausages .He tried to sell me some but none of us eat it now. He bought some cans and crisps and stuff and put in his card and I could not read his signiture so asked him what his name was it was Abdul Kookabanger. I tried not to laugh but did
and he said it s a K not a C. I said ok my ho was laughing behind him and I had a job to put the card through the machine

Kim I am so glad your blood test was ok and do hope you are not in pain today also Ros and Frank how is the cold.

Our one and only plant is still flowering a huge bush very fine with bright pinky purple daisy like flowers. Its lovely but goes on forever.

Fiona it is nice to get a bit off your hair.
Maureen it sounds interesting what you and your son are doing.

Jane hope your doggie will be ok having those lumps removed. The vet said Jasper had some sores on his ears and it was fleas so just got some stuff to spray the furniture and carpets. I managed to get a lotion also Aloe Vera to put on the lug holes.

My neighbour the rude women came in the shop and said Sheila can you look after my granson for an hour I said no I am too busy connecting with my husband she went very red and said give me some polo mints .She then slammed down the money and stormed out of the shop.

Our vet told me today that the Posh Pets grooming man owed such a lot of money he would not pay they told him not to come again .He said he was not happy with their treatment of his sick doberman doggie. That would explain his comments to me that they gave the wrong diagnosis when I phoned when he had damaged Jasper. But I can amagine if I refused to pay my bills they would sue

Jessica phoned and said Mum I want Christmas in England one last time would it be ok to stay with you with the kids until the end of January. I said yes it would ber unfair to refuse when I have such a short time with them .
April said gee gramps thats great . I hate the American brogue. I said April can we have less of the American grammer and more of the english language while your here. It went silent then she said. Wee ma petite.I said is it not mon petite and she said thats a boy silly. Does anyone know French could not argue with her. Did not have the energy.

The sun is shining so going to walk Jasper and chill out with a book when I get back. I have a novel about a women who is a ghost and how she manages to change the estate she was born into many moons ago. Her uncle Cedric is the owner . The manor house that should have gone to her and now is being run by four very old nasty sisters.

Afternoon all,

Not much better this morning, head still swimming, nose running and sore throat.

Was in bed by 10 last night, read for a while, took my sleeper, but was still awake snorting and sneezing till 2.30am Woke this morning at 6.30. with a mouth like the bottom of a bird cage. After a couple of cups of tea and my tablets, my head feels a bit better.

All showered and shaved, clean dressing gown, and another lazy day, on the cards.

I think these travellers are no more than thugs. The way they treated the police yesterday, and they were only doing their job. They are there ililegally after all said and done. You, nor I would have been allowed to stay there for TEN YEARS. Im sorry if they don't like it go back to where they came from.

As for the child beggers, I would round the whole lot up and put them on the first boat back. I could not believe the conditions (VILLAS) they lived in, We worked all our lives, and haven't got a quater of what they have, and all though working our system.!!! I would love to run this Country for 12 moths, THERE WOULD BE CHANGES. Now I have had my say, I will move on.

Clear blue sky's againb this morning, haven't been out so don't know what the temp. is like.

Have a good day out Fiona, Our little step grand daughter, was bought a new pair of wellies the other weekend when we were in Rutland. She put them on in the shop and wouldn't take them off. and it was a nice sunny day :-D :-D :-D

Ann I didn't know they were cutting the heating allowance. Our heating costs are quite high anyway, as we are both home all day, and one thing I won't be is cold.

Ros has bought me a new pillow, It's so large, she will have to get some new pillowslips as none we have got will fit it

Is Chris. still wanted for service Jane, or is that the end of it. ??

Going to make a LEMSI# and take another couple of headache tablets.

See you later.

Finally got on here. Have not been able to get to the last page for hours, keep getting the error message.

Hello everyone, been another lovely day here. The snakes are on the move already - two dogs were bitten by red bellie black snakes last week. They came across from the reserve and into the yard. Boths dogs are fine after a visit to the vet. I don't want them coming into our yard and settling themselves into a sunny spot :-S We have had centipedes, spiders and all manner of crawlies in the house recently. Not nice!!!!!!!!!

Frank hope you are feeling better and your snizzle has stopped running. Too much dancing at midnight under the full moon????? That young fellow had a lucky escape - what a terrible accident!!!

Her Majesty touched down yesterday in Canberra, marvellous woman for her age, puts me to shame. Julia and her First Bloke were there to meet the plane. Isn't that a terrible title, coming from our media of course (as bad as the baby bump, a saying I can't stand)!!!!!!! The queen won't be visiting Sydney this time. She is still as popular as ever, but I thought it so rude that our Prime Minister did not even curtsey to her.

Someone asked me if my daughter is still living here and the answer is yes and she is attending her usual school and started Year 12 work. I think she got worried she might be required to help out if she lived at the other house.

Enjoy your day shopping Fiona.

I was such a screamer, they were always pushing me around the neighbourhood in my pram to get me to sleep, in any weather. My mother used to sit on the front verandah and fold my nappies while I slept all day in my pram. I was a terrible baby, lol ;-)

Hope you all have a good day, getting pretty tired so I will say tata everyone.

Morning All

Dry and cold this morning, OH left home about 5.45, am to get the taxi to go for the train , going to Crew but will be back later this evening,

I'm going out with daughter no 1& Sofia,
this afternoon
I promised I would go shopping with her for Sofia's winter boots and I want to get her wellies , we have a huge area of grass near us and it's good for playing ball on but it's soggy at the moment and you need wellies on to play.
Daughter was concerned that when I go in for my operation , it might be a few weeks before I can go out shopping again, so we better go now while I still feel well enough,

Off to wash my hair,

It has been a lovely day here today with lots of sunshine but very cold. It must be warmer now as heating has gone off.Went to visit some friends this afternoon who live in a nearby village. They were very concerned that their winter heating allowance has been cut this year ( they are in their 80's ) and were talking of erecting extra curtaining in the sitting room. They live in a lovely old cottage but it can be draughty. They were so worried as the long rage weather forcast is not good and they can get cut off for days at a time when it snows. I do not think they have gas in the village and heating is done with oil. I left feeling very concerned as I have never known them worry before and it has made me wonder just how many other people are afraid of the coming weather and the cost of their heating bills,
Frank I hope your cold soon goes. Just think you may not get another now for the whole of the winter, good to get it over with.
Yes I was put out in my pram as a child and my son also spent many hours out in his pram in the garden with the dog on guard. The house we lived in at the time did not have any heating other than coal fires and I can remember condensation running down the walls in the hall during the winter. I remember being quite cross when we moved as the next occupants had central heating and double glazing installed by the Police ( it was the village Police house) but even so it was a lovely place to live.
Hubby has been watching the football which has now just finished so will go and see whats happening :-) :-)

Square numbers here too,but yesterday I had a funny line down the screen on the right, like a crease would look.....it's gone now though.

I agree Frank and how do they afford it as well...... obviously not bothered about their student loans! The last few years I worked we started to have problems with youngsters who were clubbing in the week till the early hours and then throwing sickies and not coming in to work the next day. Angry workmates who were getting their work to do as well as their own soon let the boss know what was happening! lol

The eviction is awful Jane, but I think allowing 'retrospective planning permission' hasn't helped things with travellers and made it harder to say no to them. One thing seems clear after watching what is happening and that is that they should not allow such huge sites in future. I remember in the old days, before human rights etc, after a visit from a Govt Inspector they would vanish the next day! lol :-D

Evening All,

We were put outside in our prams too, well wrapped up if it was cold and with the pram canopy on if it was sunny. I remember my sister and brother would be fast asleep or looking up at the clouds. I think that's when mum would get the hoovering done.

Mandy, what a bargain! I absolutely love the 'Chippy' with the couple on the seat outside! lol Getting a free hoover too.......must be your lucky day! Poor Toby, he must wonder why you suddenly turn into a mad woman swiping away with the rolled up newspaper. I hate it when flies won't leave you alone.........even more when you go in another room to settle down and do something and suddenly it's there with you again buzzing around your ears!! :-S :-S

Jane, those little Reindeer for Ethan's feet sound so cute.....he will be trying to pull them off. I bet he will have grown quite a bit since you last saw him. How long is Chris on jury service for? It has been a break for him as you say.

Frank, I have my MASK on!! lol Hope you soon feel better.......early night for you I think and no trying to do too much. I like Ribe*a to sip at night when I have a tickly throat, seems to help.

That chap was so lucky he wasn't killed. I hope hope they ban the driver, there are too many driving under the influence of drink or drugs these days.

We quite enjoyed the film this morning, but we had a noisy couple next to us and OH was giving them the 'evil eye'!! Luckily they shut up shortly after the film started.

I'm still dying, :-D :-D :-D Been in my dressing gown all day, just changed from winter one into silk one, getting too hot.

Just had my tablets and a Lemsi#, still trying to get rid of my headache, I can't take paracetamo# or Anadi#.

My daughter was born in Jan. and was put out everyday in her pram. all wrapped up, in her shawl and blankets. Fresh air they say did them good.

I see a girl has been trampled to death trying to get out of a night club at 2.30am. when the fire alarm went off. As a student, I must ask, what were they doing out at that time of night on a Tuesday/Wednesday When they have studying to do.???? How can the be alert, at 9.00am for lessons.
