Oh dear! I'm just watching the 'eviction' process of Dale Farm.I 'm not sure how I feel about all this.I know some are there illegally, but it must be dreadful and scary for all concerned ,especially Children and the elderly.

Liz ,that would be great if you could use that bit of land for Merlin wouldn't it.I think now you have decided not to persue trying to get that money back you can now put that awful business behind you and not have even more worry.
Yes they have got away with it but it could carry on for many more months or longer, and I think you have had enough anguish.

Mandy, you have been a lucky girl today :-D :-D.As for your fly,it is deliberately annoying you,and probably having great fun too lol.

Chris is not required AGAIN tomorrow at court !.I just hope he doesn't get something now on Friday which might carry on into next week.
He is popping into work tomorrow morning I think just to do some paperwork.
I said to him that he has actually had a bit of a holiday these past couple of weeks.Which will have been good for him. :-D

I bought a little woolly hat, some woolly mitts and some little baby shoe things (that look like a reindeer) for Ethan as he doesn't have anything like that in Dubai.I think Rachel is worried about how cold it will be for him here. But he will be fine.
I was put out in all weathers in my pram (to get my daily fresh air ) .My Mum just followed instructions in a little book as to how to look after me :-S :-S.I think I turned out alright ;-) ;-)

Didn't make the tip this pm, rained heavily and we seemed to get bogged down making room for Merlin's winter hay which is arriving on Friday!! Rang our Sol as we are still waiting for our purchase paperwork and don't want a 'Jobsworth' at the door demanding why we haven't sorted out the Council Tax etc!! It will be coming just as soon as Land Registry send back the deeds! There is a small piece of 'land' between us and our field that our seller has looked after for the past 25 years, but no-one actually knows who owns it!!!; our seller has written an affidavit to the effect that they cared for it all these years and it seems that we shall be able to make a legal claim!! that would be quite good as it would suit Merlin well as a 'winter turnout'. We shall see! Had a chat about NFH at the same time, and decided that it would be more trouble than it's worth to pursue it, so effectively they've got away with it, but there you go, at least we're where we want to be and, thank God, away from THEM! We did decide though that they really must be VERY dreadful people to lie and harass us for all those months the way they did and that their hatred of us bordered on paranoia! Still, time to move on!

I have turned my heating right down Frank.I wonder how long it will be before one of the men notice. It's only because I got too hot doing the dreaded housework :-S.I will not be doing anymore today.

Mandy ,I often have a rogue fly.Chester will eat them if he catches them :-S :-S :-S

Fiona are you saying you have SUNSHINE lol.I thought it looked like you were in for rain today.

Still in dressing gown and sneezing and coughing. Been sucking on throat sweets all afternoon, not really helping with the throat.

Mandy, that bought back memories, rolled up newspaper "FLY SWOTTING" did it all the time as a kid. A boy down the road always had fly's, so we would see how many we could get :-\ :-\ :-\

I prepared a roast chicken this morning, with roast pots, parsnips, cabbage carrots and runner beans.

Just put the heating on, We have had rain, and it's turned very cold. There is talk of a frost tonight.

Afternoon everyone,

Been a lovely sunny day ,but really cold ,we went to the car boot today and i bought four more little cottages for £6 !! that really was a bargain , i would have paid £6 just for one of them .

Frank, that poor lad !! wasn't he lucky that he had no broken bones ,some one was certainly watching down over him that day .
AHHHHH......... Who's given you the cold then Frank ? what you need is a nice hot toddy !!

I've got a bloo*y fly here it keeps buzzing round and do you think i can get it !!!! i've had the spray out ,and that's useless ,i've tried a rolled up paper to try and swot it !! Poor old Toby runs a mile when he see's the rolled up paper , i don't know why because i've never hit him !! he just doesn't like it at all!! and even the word fly gets him in a tizzy !!

Really black here now over Wills mothers :-S

Sausages tonight with mash and beans ,nice and easy .

ALLRIGHT OWN UP. who has given me the rotten rasping cough and headache.???? Woke up this morning feeling a bit iffy, Now I am sitting in dressing gown with large box of tissues, sneezing and coughing. (MAN FLU)
I hear you say. Come on a big AHHHHHHH. I need some tender care :-( :-( :-(

Ros is dusting and polishing the lounge, The hoover will be out next.

Liz, At our local tip they have special areas for "WHITE GOODS" to you should be allright. Glad you are getting sorted out.

Yes Jane they got the driver, arrested for drink/driving. He was from Leeds. Must be working down here, not for long by the sound of it.. The lad wasn't dragged he was pushed. Smack in the middle of the front of the van. The van is a total right off, The young lad is built like the perverble brick SH#T house so I can imagine what the van would be like.

Going to ask Ros for a coffee, and put my feet up again.

If I can manage it later I will be back. later. LOL LOL

Morning All
Quiet today isn't it.
Frank, that man was so lucky not to have been killed. As you say it wasn't his time yet.Did they get the driver?

I am still in my nightie but have been having a good old hoover through.Just stopped for a coffee and a cool down before starting the next bit.

It is a lovely sunny morning.I think an afternoon in the garden is called for.Mind you I have just looked out and it seems like there are some clouds about :-| :-|.I hope they are not rain clouds.

Lovely bright sunny day here; done ALL my chores and am planning a trip to the tip this afternoon. We have to take an old fridge, washing machine and other bits and bobs, what do you bet that they are' iffy' about taking this sort of 'rubbish'! we shall see!! Last night computer behaved SO badly that I had to give up in the end! it was that or throw it out of the window!!!! Frank, I am sorry that Ros still seems to be 'under the weather,' and frustrating that the problem can't seem to be properly 'run to earth'. I think she is very lucky that you look after her so well, 'Gold Star' standard, I would have said! That 'young' man was VERY lucky not to be badly hurt/killed. I hope that they catch the driver responsible and throw the book at him. (Sadly, a tap on the wrist is more likely !) Ian is fiddling with his computer! Apparently it hasn't got any sound, which is causing consternation (?!) and rather a lot of swearing!!

Morning Frank
Morning Mel

Wow Frank that fella was lucky, He must have been terrified being dragged like that, I would be having nightmares for a long time after, and his poor friends having to watch that happening too.

Lovely bright sunny COLD day here, great change from all the wind & rain we have been having, I think I will walk down to town today before I meet up with friends, need to go to the bank etc, TV bill due to be paid,

Catch up later :-D

MORNING, LAZY BONES.

Another bright sunny morning, without a cloud in the sky.

Found out last night a a lad in the village (37) was walking along the road, on the correct side , when a van travelling at (the police think 60 plus) lost control, and hit him full on frontal and carried him 50 yards throught a hedge and into a field. His girlfriend and another couple were missed. He is O.K. with lots of bruises but not one broken bone. His time wasn't up. Home now, from hospital,

I has left Ros in the land of Nod, while she's sleeping she's not in pain.
