Kim, glad your tests went well and that they were all clear , you must be relieved .
Mel, whats this bird on your table then ? is the robin still about ?
Frank, fancy throwing your self in the tip !! you trying to recycle your self :-D
Ann, hubby had to leave the work for son to do , he did go and keep an eye on him and sort out any problems ,but son was quite capable ,he managed ok ,i had to drive him as he couldn't drive for a while ,then he just did half days to break his self back in !!
Bought myself a pair of black Jeans today and a new top , haven't had a pair for ages ,but i thought they might be warmer for my legs this winter , if i get on ok with them i'll get another pair , bet hubby will say jeans!!

Oh !! it's still pouring down here and dark ,what a day I choose to go to the hairdressers, I really don't think it matters actually looks like were in for it all week. Weather man said last night we were due for some really cold weather, lots of rain and could have some frosty nights, I think we are to have another early winter, we have snow already further up in the highlands of Scotland, Brrrr :-( :-|

Morning All,
Another sunny one here.
I bet Janice is fed up with her knee Jane. It is so limiting when you can't move about so easily. I ought to get mine checked again I think as I don't really know what is wrong with them! The xray showed no arthritis but they crack and grate something awful, but they aren't stiff in the mornings. I have wondered if it is the ligaments or something as the pain I get if I bend them very far is mostly on the insides and just below the joints. Mandy it must have been difficult for your hubby with his work before he had his hips done.
I was a bit achey this morning so haven't been out in the garden, decided to clean the conservatory instead. We are off out to have a carvery soon.... no brekkie this morning to make room for the pud. I think it is difficult whether you are under or overweight. Some people seem to think it is easy to lose or put on but it isn't always the case. Why people have to comment as if you are blind and can't see yourself in a mirror I don't know, all it is is hurtful.
Better go and get the lippy on, OH will be back soon from his errands. BBL

Ah, there it is, couldn't post.
I've been out chopping up branches since 9am. Taken 3 loads round to the tip. As its so deep, I try to throw the branches down into it, threw one armfull and went with it. Not all the way down, but what a job pulling myself out. I could have been down there forever. Won't go so close next time. :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0
Neighbour came out this morning (While i'm cutting up branches) OH perhape you could push some of the smaller bits down the side of the skip. I said "DON'T BOTHER"" I would hate to take up space that you might need. In doors he went. with a flea in his ear. !!
What a rough old night, that wind really got up, not a lot of rain, but softened the ground a little, Beautiful day out there again, Bright sunshine even though the wind is chilly, just right for what I am doing.
Ros is down the Chapel this morning (Coffee Shop) on Tuesdays. They have a sale of all kinds of things, for funds for the Scouts. She has knitted about six scarves, childrens hats, cardigans, Our lounge is like a wool shop. and all you hear is click, click, of the needles.
Trust you are all well, and coping with your ailments. Also the dogs are allright.
Is Chris back at work today Jane, or is it another day in the garden ??? He can always come over here to help me :-D :-D :-D

Morning Kim Morning Mel Morning Jane
Another wet, wild & windy day.
Kim, I know what you mean about people saying hurtfull things, I have been quite thin most of my life, even as a child the teachers would contact my mum and say , " we are concerned over Fiona's health she looks so thin is she eating properly you better take her to the doctors." and mum would say " she is well ,she is always like that and she eats properly too" really anoying, the only time I ever got up to a size 12 was three years ago , I just seem to get bigger , I hated it because it was so uncomfortable to bend over, and when I look back at my daughter no 1 wedding pics I look huge, everyone said don't you look well. it suits you,
I am happy when I am size 10, and as you say Kim it may be a long time till we manage to put the weight back on. But I am happy that your tests went ok, the last few years I have had blood tests done every 6 months, I FELL LIKE A PIN COUSHION(sp) :-D lol
Decided to go to the hairdressers today at 2.00 and get my roots done, that will make me feel better when I get out of hospital and can't do much about the house at least I will feel good about myself when I look in the mirror, :-)
Whoops!!!! Forgot to give SIL his birthday card it's his 31st birthday today, my mind has been on other things , just seen it sitting on the shelf in the diningroom, will text him and give him his card tomorrow when he comes to pick Sofia up after work.

Morning Kim and all,
Well it was a bit wild last night with rain lashing with the wind. Today there is blue sky with white and grey clouds.
Kim good that your tests went quite well and yes we all think of you and wish you well.
Silly old me saying Red Cow but I do think that may have been what the cheeses were called a while ago. Laughing Cow was the ones I meant. If I remember rightly they were about half the size of the Dairyl** triangles but a bit deeper.
I don't suppose any of you remember the Effal Tower Lemonade Crystals that came in a long glass bottle. This bottle was also in a box. It made a pint or so of lemonade which you then diluted for a drink. It was sort of see through and not cloudy like bottled lemonade.
Hoping all the dogs are comfortable this morning. If it not one of us being ill it's our faithfull friends.
I had a bird on my bird table the other day that I bet none of you have had on yours. If the pic comes out I will let you have it along with the other little visitor to my old bird table. Cheeky chap.......

Hello everyone,
Back in the land of the living. Tests all ok, everything went well. Still no explanation for these episodes of pain, but all areas checked have been clear so far. The blood work is a worry still, something I expect that will have to be checked on a regular basis. Staff at the hospital were wonderful and the food afterwards was very welcome (I was starving) and fresh.
Sorry to read some of the little ones have croup. I remember sitting in the steamed bathroom with the hot shower going with my two. Miranda got it worse than Joel - she used to wriggle around and wouldn't sit still to get the benefit of the steam. It was a horrible cough. Hope they are better very soon. I got whooping cough when I was 40 at the school, reading with the children. The boy was fully vaccinated, but he was sent to school so ill. He also gave it to his mother, who had a small baby at the time. I think that really sent me into a nose dive healthwise.
Fiona good you found some clothes that fit. I am Size 8 at the moment and have a wardrobe full of nice clothes I can't wear used to be 10/12. I am taller than you, but I still have a skinny, boney look about me, makes me feel self-conscious. People say "don't you eat or what?" They can be so rude. Looking forward to getting some new tops for the warmer weather, I can't see myself ever putting that weight back on.
Mel I used to love the Noddy books as a child, then I used to watch the videos with my son when he was little.
Liz sounds as if you have settled in nicely. Good that you are not stressed any more and enjoying the new location.
Frank thanks for the photos - your neighbour was busy with that tree. No don't get up any ladders!!! Sorry to hear that Ros is off colour and off her food. Hope she comes good again soon. Can't cope with the mention of Christmas yet, can't believe it is nearly with us again
And the canines are not well either. Jane good luck with Chester's surgery, it sounds like they are benign, but they do bleed terribly when knocked. Zoe had a few on her during her life and we had some taken off. Poor little Jasper too. Hope you can get the cream on his unmentionables Sheila so he is more comfortable (and not get bitten at the same time). Your neighbour was so rude about that parcel , silly old moo - I would be telling her where to go in future.
Hello to Pat, Ann, Anne - where is Maureen? and anyone else I have forgotten. Thanks for your well wishes, they mean a lot to me.
Off to watch the news, what have the pollies been up to today
:-0 6.00 pm EST have a good day all.

How dare you mention Christmas Frank :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S.We have barely finished summer ;-) ;-).I see they are selling the big tins of Choc's half price now.You know the ones. They do it every year. I do think it is a good bargain .But if I were to buy a tin now ,they wouldn't last until Christmas ,because someone would find them.(not me),before you say anything Frank :-P :-P
Mandy ,I am assuming it is arthritis that Janice has.I know she has been complaining about this knee for yonks. She did read me out the results of her Xrays over the phone. But some of it I didn't quite get.I have been out of nursing for so long now.I think hers is all wear and tear. My right knee cracks everytime I move lol.It is very loud!!
I wonder if Red Cow is the same as Laughing Cow.You know how they change the names of things (like Marathon ....to Snickers)......Ulay ....to Olay...etc.

Mandy, I've never heard of RED COW. I know you got the Kraf# cream triangles. My kids loved them.
Have I missed something about knees ??? That is young for a hip replacement Mandy. A friend in the villiags had both knees replaced but he is in his 70s. Now walks unaded and runs his allotment.
I have just got the circle around the page Nos. Is that why it's been playing up.???
Ros, went out for a while this afternoon, with her friend Caroline, bought a few xmas presents, including a Chess Set for Lewis. Hope you know it's only NINE WEEKS till Christmas. Just to cheer you all up. :-D :-D :-D :-D
