Evening All,
What a lovely sunny day it has been. We had fun in our class this morning doing a corded necklace. I had major problems as my cord wouldn't go through my beads and I was under the table chasing them a lot of the time!! lol The girl next to me was the same and we kept banging heads. I ended up borrowing a couple of beads from someone else and doing a 'simple' affair!! Next time I shall take ALL my beads. We did some crocheting wire adding beads to practice for the bracelet we are doing next time. Phew.....at least I know how to crochet!!
Hooray!! :-D You have your date Fiona and not long to wait so less time to think about it. A few weeks to get back to a normal diet before that trifle appears too!! lol
Liz, what you say rings bells with me about not being able to get as much done as you used to. I look at the garden and think how fast I would have got it done once! Now I have to rest up a bit the next day if I do much!!
Frank I'm sure Ros knows what to expect when you have these 'moments' but it can't be nice for her as you say. A short walk might help relax you if it is in the daytime.
Jane you need a gas mask!! lol

Evening everyone,
Its been a lovely day here , even had the back door open again.
Oh dear Frank, poor old Ros ,has she been getting it in the ear again, hope your better now , i think we all need to let off steam some times .
Jane, that smoke looks really bad , your house is going to stink if it goes on for a fortnight !!! you'll have to get your fan out and blow it the other way :-D
Fiona, glad to hear you have your date for your op, will be good to get it all over and you'll be able to enjoy your christmas food.
Poor little Katie is still really chesty with the croup, she's not sleeping very well at night and poor DIL is tired too.
Went to Tesc*'s and bought Jake a couple of boxes Leg* for christmas , they should have been half price ,but when i looked at my till receipt they had charged me full price for them , i thought i had spent a lot !!
I took my receipt to the customer help counter and i wasn't the only one who had been over charged there was a lot of others too, in the end we got a refund for the whole cost of the Leg* ,so i got both boxes free !!!
Poor Beryl, i bet she wishes she had treated Donnie a little better now , do you think she would have him back now if he gets fed up with the other woman ?

I said no well lets change the subject April what is your bikini like and she said white with lime green polka dots .
Thats me on the right hand side. of the photo .

Fiona you will be ok for Christmas that will be nice. best of luck
Frank it does you good to blow your top sometimes and swear I say worse me mum will tell me off if we meet in the after life. But in your case perhaps its not wise to get too worked up over things but you do wonders helping your wife and the things you do.
Jane that smoke sounds awful remember when we got smoked out with that setee that got set alight.
I have to go been reading the threads Mandies and Annx very interesting stuff.Shame about the medals But all interesting hope Chris does have a interesting case .

Beryl was round this afternoon crying did console her with a new jumper I bought and did not like she loved it so gave it her. Her daughter told her about Donnie and she wanted to know what is new women was like. My hubbie said she had a ring through her nose he proberly hands her up when he s finished with her. I had to push him out the door.

Roll on the 2nd then Fiona :-D :-D.You can start counting off the days now.
I have spent more than 3 hours down with Fitz.I cannot believe he has not been affected by the smoke.I t has just about managed to bypass his house and garden. We sat in the garden for the whole time with beautiful blue sky and Buzzards flying above,I come back up the lane to be faced by choking fumes :-S :-S :-S I have just stuck some sheets of newspaper over the fireplace to try and stop the smell coming down the chimney.I dead to think what it is like for the people at the bottom of the road as you can barely see anything down there.Have sent you all 1 pic which I think will show how bad it is today. It stinks :-| :-|

Afternoon All Raining ,gray day here, Well I saw the surgeon this morning and we have made a date for my gallblader operation for the 2nd of November , to be at hospital for 6.30am on the Wednesday morning for going down to theatre at 8.00am, he says it's best to get it over and done with early so I am not having to sit around all day waiting, Now the date is set I am feeling very nervous and scared, But at last it will be over and will be hopefully back to a normal food diet for christmas, looking forward to eating OH Christmas trifle :-D :-D lol. I Will have to stay in hospital overnight unfortunatly, not keen on that but I supose they have to keep an eye on me and make sure I eat something before I can get out.
Bought some Christmas cards today, our M&S is all decorated for Christmas and the shop was full of woman already dashing about.

Hi all,
Been on my own till just a few minutes ago, have been sitting is the sunshine reading my book.
Jane, I tried ANGER management. and it cost me a lot of money, all to no avail. I keep telling myself to take a deep breath, but it won't work for me. It has to come out. I should go into the middle of a field and scream there. :-D :-D
Mel, HOW do I open my try to Ann. ???? I told you I am thick :-P :-P :-P
Liz, It's so nice to see a difference in you. You really sound that life is good for you again. I am so pleased.

Hi All,
Not raining here either and sometimes bright. Washing nearly done!
Ann I have pm'd you.
Frank hope you feel a bit better today and have clamed down. How is Ros this morning, has she managed anything to eat.
Fiona will be at her appointment by now and I hope she gets her op date soon as she can.
Frank can you please open your tree to Ann so she can have a look to see if she thinks the same as me?
Ann good that the patio is now down and you are getting a bit strighter now with the garden. Bet you are looking forward to next year now when you can finerly get it planted and set out how you want it. We shall be expecting great things from you in the way of garden pics next year you know. It will be a very peaceful place to sit in your summerhouse with the water trickling outside onto the pebbles. I hope you get some time to spend in there together instead of slaving away to get all the gardening done!!
Liz you do sound a lot happier now you are away. It is always like a holiday when you move to a different area and have new places to visit and explore. I really must clean my windows too!!!!
Hope our Kim is feeling a bit better today. Think of her a lot.

Frank, try not to blame yourself for your frustration temper turns, having been through our trauma's I do sympathise as I think you just get so overtired and then you tend to take it out on the person closest to you and hate yourself for it afterwards! I'm sure Ros understands that you don't mean it, and that it is more rage at yourself not at her. The thing is too, that none of us are as young as we once were and are just not able to do all the jobs we once did with ease, without feeling exhausted; that in itself is infuriating and faintly worrying! so don't be too hard on yourself! Today is a lovely sunny morning, washing out (!!) and windows cleaned!!! I have to do these jobs (windows etc) while I feel motivated, as that maynot happen again for sometime!!!

Morning Frank, Fiona and all Oh Dear Frank. It's probably a good idea you have a bit of time on your own today to let things settle. I have a friend whose husband had a stroke when he was just in his early 40's.He had terrible temper flares, and in the end decided to go to Anger Management.I know he is glad he went as I think it has helped a lot.It may be worth enquiring about that. It's worth looking into if there is any chance it will help.
It is a lovely day.I think Fitz has the smoke down with him at the moment.I am supposes to be going down at lunch time, but if it is bad I will suggest he comes up here.
I need to do some food shopping this morning so better get a move on. I spent 30mins trying to find Chesters collar earlier :-S It had slipped down between a pile of shoes.James found it in the end.
See Ya!

Morning all,
I was in bed by 9 pm last night, had one of my bad temper turns, and took it out on Ros, I must get back to the Doctor, to see if there is anything he can do for it.
I know I worked myself to a stansill yesterday, and I am not as young as I used to be. But feel I should be able to do more. Frustration creeps in, and away I go. My head was pounding, and the right side of my body, twitching with the nerves. I couldn't settle. So Bugger## of to bed and read for a little whilw and was asleep before 10 pm.
I was awake at 4 am laid till 5 am got up had breakfast and teas before 7 am.
Ros is out this morning at 10.00 so I will have most of the day to myself. No Tele, might put the Radio on instead, and read my book.
Sorry to go on about myself, but I feel so bad after theses blow up, Ros just dosen't deserve it, she's done nothing wrong.

Glad you are pleased with your new Patio Ann.Deep Breath when you write that cheque ;-) Chris has gone off to bed with 'the case ' buzzing around in his head, plus I think an infected elbow. It is really hot.He has a bite on the back of his elbow ,plus scratches from brambles.Luckily he has antibiotics in his Doctors Bag,so has had 2 tabs. Just Watching Johanna Lumley(sp) in Greece. That will take me back to the days I lived there working as a Nanny.(when I was 18) :-D :-D.Happy days!

Liz you sound like a different person being able to relax and have fun looking around the area!
That's good Fiona, it sounds like tomorrow you may have a date for your operation. I hope the date is soon. :-D
I bet you feel nice now your hair is done Jane. It is nice to chill out while someone does it all for you.
Anne, I hope you have good willpower with all these meals coming up. It can be a rocky road if you are like me..........those puds you think you won't have can be very tempting. Nice not having to cook though.
Hi Kim, what a nuisance them not being able to find your blood! You must feel like a pincushion. Our surgery doesn't put plasters on for blood tests anymore.....they just stick a bit of cotton wool on and some of that micropor* tape.
Patio is all finished and looks a treat, but until we finish the rest of the garden we will have to keep off it with muddy shoes!! No excuses for us not getting the rest done now and tomorrow I can put washing out. :-D . Now I just need a steady hand to write the cheque!! lol :-S
Meant to ask, is damson cheese like lemon curd Mel? We have to pull the neighbour's ivy off our concrete fence posts where it comes between the fence and the post. It is surprising how hard it clings on and would rather break than let go.
Have sent you a PM. Mel.
Off to bed early now to watch the WDYTYA that's recorded. See you all tomorrow...nighty night.

Ann, sounds as if the work man are getting on well now , looking forward to seeing the finished result and the master piece of jewelry tomorrow.
Fiona, hope all goes well tomorrow ,who knows if they can get things moving quickly by this time next week you might be in hospital !!
Jane, fancy the fire burning for a fortnight or more , it must be really compacted together to burn like that for so long .
Has the shape round number of the pages changed ? i'am sure they were little square boxes the numbers were in.
