Morning Frank
Glad you are ok after your fall yesterday. I tripped yesterday in the back porch , we have a long carpet runner on the tiles which is put down in wet weather so the tiles don't get slippy anyway ,one corner was sticking up I didn't see it and I tripped and fell against the wall and banged my shoulder, a bit achy this morning but will be ok,
suns out but windy , Daughter no 1 not working today so I have no Sofia to babysit. will see them on Sunday for dinner.

It's the 6 o'clocker. Something in my brain(yes I have one lol lol) just sets of an alarm, and I am awake, wanting the toilet. So once up I stay up. Had three cups of tea, and just sitting, thinking of times gone by.
Pleased to say no real after effects from the tumble yesterday. Sore arms and legs. I didn't tell Madam, or she would have gone mental at me for not kneeling down, but then I have to get up, no mean feat.
Very cloudy here, and rain is just around the corner.
The heating came on this morning, and the boiler is set at 18 degrees. so much cooler than of late.

Had a look in at a grave yard in Newbiggen by the sea recently. St Bartholomews Church at the point.
Many graves have sad storys. The occupants being the victims of drowning.Often more than one generation in the grave.
All the Jewish graves are together on the south side of the grave yard.
One grave has a poignat stark memorial stone bear only two words

Dinner is now ready and I suddenly don't fancy anything.James is dishing his up and had said he is not very hungry,so I think Chris will end up with a HUGE plateful.Les hope he doesn't decide he isn't very hungry either :-S :-S
I do know someone who demolish any left over sausages,(my four legged friend).he is sniffing around with a hopeful look on his face.Well he will be out of luck .He has had all he is having today and I don't need to be dealing with a dicky tum :-| :-|
Frank I see in the paper that our county is the worst in the country for response times for emergency services :-S :-S :-S.
I will be glad to get the new Sk* box thing tomorrow.I am fed up having to get down on my knees to change channels on the old box.My nose is nearly on the floor when I do it and even then I can't really see what I'm doing lol

That was nice to see Kim earlier. :-D :-DHope the painkillers keep helping Kim
Oh no Frank! not again :-| at least it wasn't off the ladder.
I have felt really sleepy this afternoon.I think it is all the disturbed nights catching up.Seems there are a few of us having sleep trouble at the moment :-S :-S
That wind is really gusty and it's not too warm now.Still haven't put the heating on though.Last night I got out of bed to put the fan on and it went PHUTT!.Probably is worn out after all the use lately. Chester is asleep on the rug in front of the fireplace.(wishful thinking me thinks)it is just an empty grate lol
Chris starts his 2 weeks of Jury Service soon.He is not looking forward to that.I wish I could take his place. I don't suppose anyone has heard from Sheila.I hope nothing bad has happened as it is weeks now since she was here.
Liz you sound so much happier now. That is so good to see.
Not a very exciting dinner tonight.Sausages (I bought at a lovely Butchers in Northumberland),Butternut Squash and Sweet Potato, and Ratatouille. I do get fed up trying to think of meals to cook.I remember Mum saying the same thing.I could never understand why she said that ,BUT NOW I DO !!!

Frank, Do be careful, losing your balance and going over is so painful and shaky (!) making. Like my unpacking and getting straight, doesn't all have to be done at once! mind you I could do with finding Millies brush and comb, she does look a very raggitty dog! Ian not too keen to turn out boxes just to look for that, so her grooming will have to wait! Sunshine and showers here, VERY blustery but not cold. No , I don't think that I'm a butterfly, more an old boiler!!!! but at least I'm a contented one! ;-)

Thats me for today's planting. Bending over in the front garden, planting wallflowers, and over balanced. Landing full length in the flower bed. Left me all shakey. Going to sit and have a rest, and a cup of tea.

Hi Kim, PAIN,!!!! I know how that feels, I am on a bland diet too, fed up of Chicken & turkey, but OH is great at trying to liven it up with mushrooms and other veg, my pain dies down at night Kim, I did really well yesterday and had no need for pain killers. thankgoodnesss as the ones I take make going to the bathroom very difficult (will not go into further details) and I have to have at least 2/3 glasses of prune juice a day Don't know how long it's going to be before I have to go into hospital.
Managed to get into town and pay the bills, still raining but we do have the sun off and on.

Kim, so nice to see you posting, even though you are not well. We all think about you, and hope you soon start to feel a little better.
This sleep business, gets on my nerves. I sat in the armchain and nearly dropped of to sleep and only 10.30am in the morning.
Ros is in the shower, and washing hair. I will go in after her. and get shaved. two days growth. starting to get stubble. It's so nice not to have to shave everyday.
Whats your plans for today LIZ, cleaning or unpacking. Take it easy, it doesn't all have to be done at once.
Might do a bit of planting later. If I feel like it, if not, it can wait.
See you later.

Hello everyone, just a quick visit as I won't be able to sit here very long. Another day of this terrible pain, but the painkillers help. I need help getting out of bed around mid afternoon. It seems to ease off at night and then starts again the next morning. On a really bland diet, need some food to take the pills.
Hope everyone is well, Liz glad you are away from those people and settling in.
Thanks for your well wishes. Cheers, 8.52 pm EST

Morning All,
Turned very windy with our rain last night and this morning is still windy with a little rain.
Could I go to sleep last night?? no I tossed and turnedand kept thinking about things. I expect that was the trouble. Got up at 7.30 for a leak and told oh not to let me sleep too long. He did'nt wake me up and I awoke at after 10am!
Library comes today and I must'nt forget. I took out two talking books a while ago and I had read one already. That really made me mad as I have to pay for them.
Nice to hear from Liz this morning. Hope all are feeling well today or as well as they can be.
OOOOh sun has just popped out. Perhaps it will be nicer today after all.........
Watched Len on WDYTYA last night and it was very interesting. Fancy him finding he was of Polish descent a way back. You would have thought he was cokney through and through.

Morning All Queenie's fine thanks Frank ;-).Have had a nice walk this morning and disturbed 2 grave diggers preparing for a burial maybe later today. It is just my kind of day weather wise.Sunny and a bit breezy with lots of Autumn leave to scuff through.I thought they would be very wet but they weren't too bad.
I have a really itchy scalp and it's driving me mad.I am going to go and buy the new H&S's one for itchy heads.I have used it before and found it very good.
it makes all the difference to get a good night's sleep doesn't it Liz.I go through spells where I keep waking up ,but then I will settle back to sleeping through.
Fiona I hope the sun keeps shining for you .You haven't had a lot of it recently have you.
I love all your garden pics Frank. That tree is quite a whopper isn't it.
Must get on ,as nothing much was done yesterday with Fitz being here all day. A quick cup of coffee I think to get me going and I will BBL

Morning Liz. Morning Frank
Glad your settling in to your Bungalow Liz. I grew up in a bungalow because my mum was unable to climb stairs due to ill health, I liked it being all on one floor. my MIL has an old saying at bedtime "well I'm away up the hill meaning she's off to bed. sometimes when I'm really tired going up stairs is like climbing a mountain, lol :-) :-)
It has been a wild wet & windy night here and is still raining and blowing a gale. Need to go into town and pay a bill , and do a bit of shopping in Mar*s,
whoops!!! sun has just come out, we might be lucky and it will stay a while.
