Afternoon All

Yes I managed breakfast this morning and snack at 11.oo ,one of the ladies came and and took me in the car to the coffee shop to meet the other ladies, and it was good to get out and she brought me back , trying to keep in some of a routine while I can,I am usually ok through the day, and the pain only gets worse around tea time.
so I have decided to have a larger lunch while I can, and not eat after 6.00.

Windy & raining,
Jane hope you go on alright at the dentists,

Hi Everyone! Back again after a muddle up over dates with BT. The move here was nothing short of a nightmare owing to our charming NFH! I think that I told you all that they had written to our agent saying that there were two legal matters unresolved between us? well our Sol had to pass this onto our buyers Conveyancer who, although she was well aware that there had been problems on the boundary, and the fact that the buyer said that he was not worried by this, sent said letter to the litigation Sol, who, of course had a fit, demanded ALL paperwork. The other matter was the fact that way back, before our present neighbours, our soakaway was in neighbours field, neighbour than was OK about it. N.F.H was also OK for 6 years, till we cut down two trees (on our own property) which they were furious about, compromised their privacy etc!!! that led to the query on the boundary, which led to NFH to have a fit about the soakaway, so we put a new system into our own garden to solve problem. Apparently we were told last week that old soakaway had caused her field to become contaminated!! (she wanted it to be tested!!) and was causing a trespass. We were nearly on the verge of a breakdown by now. All these accusations and no time to defend ourselves (I wonder why!!) in the end we had to pay her £10.000 or lose the sale of our house and all the financial disaster that would have caused us. Not only that, NFH rang our agent and our removal people pretending to be my niece wanting our new address, in order to send us some flowers to welcome us to our new home!!!!Can you believe ANYONEcould be so awful. Our children were appalled, as were all our friends! Anyhow to say that we are relieved to be here is an understatement - NEVER again!! I will be sending piccys soon!
Am now going to go through my 45 e-mails!!!!

Hi all.

Mel, keep your cold down there, I bet we will all have a spat of it in the coming weeks It's that time of year.

I've been up since SIX on the computer, and the Family tree. Will have to get more paper and ink for my printer. It becomes very addictive. I've started a bit more on Ros's tree. There's not a lot of info on her Dad's side of the family.

I am being draged to town in a few minutes. Ros has to pick up her new glass's, then to Matala#, and Garden Centre. (MORE EXPENCE)

Hope everybody is well, hope you get on allright at the "TOOTH PULLERS" Jane, better you than me. :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

LOL Frank .You have just reminded me of the time when James was about 5or 6 and I found him weeing in the desk drawer in his bedroom :-| :-|.I had to buy a load of new crayons and pencils .(he was fast asleep at the time). Why is it that men and boys do that???? I have never heard of a girl/lady weeing in strange places in their sleep.

I hope all our absent friends are ok.It is a bit worrying not to hear from them.

Will say Night Night now.I just need to let Chester out for his last wee and then I will be away to bed with my book.Chris has turned the alarm off on the bedside clock and I have no idea how to set it.So hopefully I will wake early enough to take Chester out before my Dental appointment.
Sleep well everyone xx

Antnx, I have all my little plug violets coming out at the moment. Ros is taking the ones in flower and planting them in the boarder. We have dozens growing in the stones at the bottom of the garden. There is a liner under them, so should be easy to pull out and trans plant.

I love your expresion for your electrician. :-D :-D :-D

Thanks Mel, will get onto it tomorrow. Ros is a bit miffed that I am not working on her family tree. So have started that as well. What have I let myself in for !!!

Sold my old Dyso# on Gumtree. The lad came this evening, just moved up from Cheltenham, he has a flat in town. Should do him a good turn only been used by us, since new,

Hissing SID was a name we gave to one of our friends, but it began wiith P. He would P in the walldrobe or down the stairs when he was drunk. His wife had to tie a dressing gown cord to them, so if he went to get out of bed she would feel him .

Of to watch a bit of tele, I have been on here all day. :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

Jane

Jane Report 4 Oct 2011 21:30

Oh Ann I think you might be right with Hissing Sid.Did he have a lisp???I really don't know why I suddenly thought of that today. It 's so weird the way something pops in the mind for no apparent reason :-S :-S
OOPS! looks like your OH does the kind of thing I have been known to do Ann.Pull up things that SHOULD NOT BE PULLED UP !!!!! :-| :-| :-|

Pat I hope your throat and cough are easier in the morning.Sorry I can't help with the 1911 cencus, hopefully someone else can.

I have the bed all to myself tonight :-D :-D :-D.I am looking forward to it lol.Just to be able to spread out and not be kicked back, and have a hot body next to me.I might be able to sleep with the fan OFF tonight :-D

Hi Everyone,

Happy Birthday to your hubby Mandy.......at least he got to stay at home on his birthday, even if he had a paintbrush in his hand! :-D

I'm glad they found the problem Fiona and I hope your appointment comes through soon. Fancy it being your gallbladder that has caused the trouble.

Our 'talk for England' lovely electrician has been here all day fitting a switch for the pond pump and lights (should we want them) and taking up the path and digging an 18" deep channel for the cable. He has to take his time with the digging as he has had heart trouble but he wasn't keen on OH helping so we ended up just saying give us a shout if help was needed. He will be back tomorrow to dig the rest of the channel and across to the pump. He already has his eye on my bright pink Michaelmas Daisies and Banana Custard Verbascum, so he's bringing envelopes for seeds off the verbascum and I'll dig up a root of the daisies for him tomorrow.

Being a lot cooler today meant I managed to clean the kitchen and bathroom and OH has finished weeding everywhere. I pointed out 3 seedlings of a pretty violet verbascum last night and told OH not to pull those out whatever he did. What did he do this morning.......pulled the lot out!!! :-S :-S Honestly, what can you do!! lol I've told him I'll have to mark any seedlings with a stick (or mousetrap!!) in future.

Wasn't Hissing Sid in the Jungle book?? I loved his voice.

OH digger packed up as the starter would'nt work. They have been trying to get a new one!!

While he was in on the phone to a chap in Hatherleigh there were two rabbits out on the front lawn. There not there now, they are round Graham's for his wifes dog who will only eat pork, rabbit and chicken.

The sun came out for about a quarter of an hour but now it is raining again :-|

Happy Birthday to your Hubby Mandy.Enjoy your Chinese this evening.

Frank it is never too cold for me.I am much happier to be cold than too hot.I never wear gloves or hats and scarves in the winter.Maybe a scarf around my mouth if it is a biting wind.

I am just about to take Chris to the Station. He is staying in Birmingham tonight as he a conference that starts early tomorrow morning.

It's got cloudy now.I wonder if we have any rain coming. The garden is desperate for a good downpour .
