Happy Birthday to Mandy's OH.
Been a horrible wet day here and still very windy, Daughter no 1 & Sofia came for a couple of hours after playgroup & had their lunch , then went home, I have done well today, I had rice krispies for breakfast, Toast for snack, salad & a baked potato for lunch, rice pudding for a snack and so far the pain has been very slight, I think that is all I'll eat today, as by the time it gets to about 5or6pm the pain gets worse.
off to watch a bit of TV before OH comes in from work.

Still here, No walk yet.
Been trying to fathom out how to use ancestary. Just found my gt.gt. Grandfather had a daughter Penelope. Will have to try to put that on ,my Genes tree.
Ros has been asked to be a Trustee for the Tapestry project. Carol has just been up to take photo, which Ros hates more than anything. She would never go near a camera if she had her way.
Fiona, Glad you are being sorted out. What good is the gaul bladder to us ??? apart from getting stones :-D :-D :-D
Mel, I didn't know you were getting rain today, that means we are in for it soon. Down to 15/18 degrees today. Soon be to cold for Jane.
YOU must be a real pain in the bum JANE, can't reach your windscreen, and you can't get your leg over. :-D :-D :-D :-D Never mind it comes to us all sometime in our lives. Glad I am still fit ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Ros has just made coffee, so I weill be off for now.

Morning All
Fiona that is really good news.Hopefully now you will get a date for the op asap Are you still going privately ?
Frank I can just see you in Superman Pants lol
It is a really nice morning.Sunny, with a breeze and still quite warm.Had the fan on all night again. So did James, and that is most unusual for him.
I need to nip over to Market Harborough and I think I will visit the great Butcher's Shop while I am there. They make up their own Stuffed Chicken Breasts with all sorts of nice things, plus lots of other really tasty things.
I have just had to ask James to clean the inside of my windscreen. It was filthy and I can't reach to do it properly. My car has a very deep Dashboard and my arms can't stretch far enough.
How is KIm this morning .I hope she is still at home and not been whisked off to hospital.
I'm off now so BBL

Morning All
Frank thanks for the Autumn Card & Pics of your garden everything looks lovely and thats one big tree.
Well good news, received a phone call from the consultant this morning , he has had a chance to look over some of the moniter results, and there is no sign of Acid reflux so it certainly looks like it's the Gallbladder, so I am now to waiting for a phone call from the surgeon at the hospital , he will probably give me a date as when I can come in and have the Gallbladder out.
It's really windy here today, glass bin blew over this morning , what a noise!!!! it made. one of our neighbours is having a new bathroom put in, out came a green bath in went a new white one. she'll be really pleased it was wonderful to get rid of our primrose yellow one. we decided on pergomont which is sort of a pale creammy colour and then tiled the bathroom pale pink tiles edged with gold and gold accesories,

Morning All,
Not nice today, wet and very dull after the nice weather we have been having.
Frank thanks for the photos that is a big tree :-S I am surprised you got up as far as you did.
The pics I took of our last tree coming down were not too good.
I must say that Pat's pic of the robin was really good. Thanks to Ann for sending it to me. That came up as normal and I was able to open it in the usual way.
I have had that with the car parking and had to climb over from the passenger side but have also had people park right up the front and back of the car and you just can't move at all. I had to wait over half an hour once :-|
A friend has called this morning. I think he may be here to help OH move some of the tin sheeting that came off the garage. I have given them coffee and left them to whatever they are doing. Not going out yet in the rain.

Morning all,
Cooler here this morning, but bright sunshine. Just right for a nice walk down the canal, perhaps later.
Sore arm and neck this morning, from the injection, i suppose.
Mel, the old cat would lie on his blanket on the back of the chair, looking out of the window for hours. He is still going into the shower on a regular basis. Now I have to towel out the bottom of the shower every morning and evening, so he doesn't get wet lying there. SPOILT OR WHAT.I have decided that when I get up to the top of the tree, I will tiw myself to the trunk. That way if the ladder spips I will be safe. I would hate to be caught out, in my "SUPERMAN PANTS" and screaming for "JANE"
David, didn't you know the bloke was cleaning your bin. They come round here every week do bins. I do my own. Give them a goodd scrub with the yard broom and a hose down. Bit of JEYE# in the bottom when I am finished.
Have decided to take a two week Freebee.with Ancers###. Will need to be told how to use it, I have only every used GENES.
In future Jane if your picture freezes on the TV. turn it off at the mains and wait 5 minutes. When you turn it on, it's seems O.K.
What and who have I missed this morning ??? Hope you are not offended. See you all ater.

Evening All
Just came to say hello and goodnight before going to bed, had to take a couple of pain killers about 7. and I now feel dozy.
Jane saw my GP at 3.30 told him about the pain and my visit to the hospital last night, he says if I can it will be better going private to get the gallbladder out , would only take a few weeks, but on the NHS could take months, the thought of going through this pain for months is awful, also spoke to the doctor at the private hospital today, wants to get the results about the low white blood cells first and see the results about the acid reflux which hopefully will only take a few days to sort out, then arrange another appointment to see him. so it's just a matter of waiting till I get a phone call from him.
Well I'm off to bed, struggling to keep my eyes open.
night night, xxxxxxxx

Just popping in quickly. Ann I had that problem with someone parking to close to my car.I struggled to get over the gear stick from the passengers side, but did in the end .As I was catching breath ,the driver next door arrived.I put my window down and said I had had to climb over and into the drivers seat ,and how brilliant his parking was .He just gave a rather sheepish look and drove off lol My gear stick is situated very high so my leg is just about on the windscreen to get it over(pardon the expression)
Mandy I had no idea about the button where you can move channels up and down on the Sk* Box .it's been there for years lol Must go and dish up.Late dinner tonight

Do you think he'd be shouting for JAAAANE if he got stuck Mandy!!! lol
I thought it seemed a lot hotter today Jane........I did nothing but wilt all afternoon, no energy at all. We had a lot of trouble with the old S*y box in the lounge and even the new one plays up at times. We always try what Mandy said......works 9 times out of 10. The one in the bedroom plays up at times too. Trouble is I got the plug socket for that one put in the back of a built in cupboard underneath it and have to empty the shelves to switch it off. If you do get a new box, we noticed our new one seemed to have more recording space than the old one. :-D :-D
Our neighbour was telling us about the appeal last week concerning building the houses on the field near us. Instead of being on 1 day like we were told, he said it ran 3 full days and into the evenings. He said the builders were arguing everything. Goodness knows what the outcome will be.
Off to get a cuppa now. I took one to bed yesterday and was really enjoying it but it seemed a bit strong.........then my lips touched the teabag!!!!! Yuk.

Ann, i was going to call Frank TARZAN !! i could just see him swing in the tree if the ladder went !! People have no consideration for other people when they park , as long as they can get out their side they don't bother to look at the passenger side !! i had to struggle over the passenger seat the other week :-S
I had to smile today little Chelsea was so pleased she had been invited to a birthday party ,Hatty May a little one at the nursery had invited her ....she told me that she had an .....inbertation :-D :-D :-D it sounded so funny i made her say it again !!!

Jane, i didn't know you could change channels with the button on the box !!
I'am going to have a flu jab this year ,don't want to end up in hospital again , hubby had his done in Tes*o's , do you have to be 65 to have them done at the doctors ? Those gripper things for the snow sound a good idea , we did have a look for some last year but they had all sold out ,so maybe now is the time to buy, plus if we get a lot of snow they'll put the price up !!!
Frank, have now got two more photo's of your tree , are you taking it all down?
I carn't believe its 9 weeks since you moved in David , you've done a lot of work on the bungalow ,so you should be all straight before Christmas .

Evening All,
Have EM you Pat's pic Mel. Yes, what is Homety Pie??? Sounds nice as does the crumble and cream! You should have taken your torch with you......can imagine it would be pitch black where you are.
Hope your ears are painfree now David.
Mandy, I bet Frank puts his 'SUPERMAN' pants on for going up the tree!!! lol
What a horrid afternoon you had Fiona, hope you get on well at the docs tonight and that they get things moving for you.......sooner the better!!
Thanks for your photo Frank, your border looks good and healthy with all the work you and Ros put in. That is a nice Yucca you have with the flower spike coming. Thanks too for your e-card, it was really lovely.
Poor Chester, sounds like the spirit was willing, but legs not up to it today!!
Anne, I would hate those snakes more than the spiders!! Look forward to any pics you send.
Had my blood test this morning and flu jabs are friday. Couldn't get my prescription as no Pharmacist had turned up and they were waiting for another to come......wouldn't even let us in the shop. I decided to nip to Hinckley then as there is a shop there that sells craft stuff and beads! I always try to park on the ends of rows in carparks as my doors don't have much protection. There were hardly any spaces today so I parked between other cars but in the middle of my space. When I came back a car was parked right close on the line on my driver's side so I couldn't open my door enough to get in!!!! Even slimmer OH wouldn't have squeezed through the gap! Being a 2 door car the doors are longer and need a bit more room to open anyway. I ended up sitting in the passenger seat for 20 minutes as with a low roof I decided it was not worth the effort in the heat to try and climb over the gearstick. :-S :-S A lady about my age came and moved it then........oblivious to any problem she had caused.

David.I can't believe it is 9 weeks since you moved in.I bet you can't wait now to get the kitchen done and then you should be back to normal.
I wonder how Fiona has got on this afternoon at the GP.
SNOW! Mandy ,not here surely :-S :-S.Chris and I were talking the other day about buying some of those ice gripper things that clip on the bottom of shoes and thinking it might be worth investing in some.If this winter is like last then they will come in handy. There do seem to be lots of red berries on the hollys.
I spotted a Pheasant in next door this morning and it was a beauty. It looked almost Black.I have never seen one as dark as that.I have a horrible feeling that the Pheasant shooting time is here :-S
