Hello everyone I have just read my threads that kept flitting from place to place and it was hard reading .I hammered on the table computor stay still and bless it did. Otherwise it would have gone out the window.
Well all is calm here at the moment the othe man who was burnt is not expected to live over the week end .Theres been some flowers attached to the letter lamp post from the family of the gent who was killed and it seems like they may have been distilling there own liquer . It is all very strange and still the police have suspects.
My little April was very naughty poor pussy cat being tied to the swing and scared by two little innocent dogs who were most anxious to have a cat supper. I phoned April today and she said Gran your in my bad books so there. I said Oh well poor Gran will have to try and do better next time if you do not upset the cat .April said you made my head ached and my eyes cried all night and the next day and the next day suddenly I heard Ryan shout you little liar April you did not cry at all. Suddenly the phone was plonked on the table and I heard her going off. Later picked up by Jessica who said Madam went out to kill Ryan marching along with her hands on her hips .I said to her do not kill him before you get your pocket money. Then I heard Ryan shout boo hoo I am shaking all over April. I said to Jessica the best of luck for later. Ryan is so funny with April I often giggle. He said the other day I am going to get a good behaviour box for her .
Gosh Jane that dinner sounded brill you went to such a lovely selection of weird things would have loved that. Sophia brought me up some Lamb soup yesterday for my tea but I think she must have forgot to put the lamb in it. it was more like washing up water. I am afraid it went down the sink and today she came in really early to see me and decided to wash my pans I had left and there was my soup all stuck in the plug hole. bits of lamb and onion. Not a lot but just enough for her to know I did not eat it. Up went her arms Oh my soupie of the lamb goes down plig hole Sheila . Michelle choked and said mum Sophia said you soupies goner down the plig hole. Les was standing close by he said whoes gone down the plig hole Sopie she is too big. I had to go outside to stop myself bursting a gasket.
Dinner was nice fish and chips.
Santandair bank was struggling to put another cash thingy in the hole today where the other one was removed and Mrs Hubert up the road said she was in town on the riot day and she fell over some hangers from the clothes out of the sports shop that was nicked. her ankle was all bound up. She is about eighty that lady.Three men died also it was sad run over by someone trying to rob them .
Glad Maureen was ok. Best to stop away from the shop if you can under those circumstances.
I remember we had tea everynight dead on five oclock when I was little my dad came from the office and there it was .I used to get a rollocking if I was late. I loved the orange Jelly wibble wobbling on the plate it was always my job to break it up and I am afraid a lot got eaten before it arrived in the dish. War years were hard but somehow my mother managed well bless her. I remember once getting her clothes coupon book out and playing post offices with it and cut out all her coupons she never spoke to me for a week. I was sent to my auntie Gerts in Wolverhampton and then it was wees in the bucket all week at night which I hated because everyone could hear me tinkling. I used to run and hide when it was time to be taken down stairs I could see myself slopping it all over the best room. my couson Al and his girl Rita used to cuddle in that room and I used to spy through the key hole I was a sweet sole really.
Well had better go and brave half hour in the shop while ho gets a shave. He went to a Raf meeting last night for ex Cyprus buddies there was him and another man he was cross. I said maybe they have all died.
Kim sorry you are still not good have beeen thinking of you. I see you enjoyed your shop in Sydney yonks ago how is the family .I showed my brother your brothers photoes.
Pat your be great soon when everything is ship shape. Anne I get bad pains in my hands and they feel funny like the lifes gone out of them some days.
We sat and looked at some old radio mags anyone remember Dagwood and Kenneth Horn and Whats my Line and Womens hour and the Clitheroe kid. Jimmy Hanley there were lots will have to dig them all out we had a lovely afternoon browsing the oldies. Gilbert Harding looked just like my uncle Jack. We being me and my brother.
Beryl and Don are in Western Super Mare. its been so peaceful but miss them somehow. I wonder if they have killed each other ?????

Evening all,
Another busy day i've only just sat down !!!
DIL came with the little ones and Chelsea wanted to stay here ,so we been making buns !! we covered then in icing and she wanted to put sprinkles on them , but she also saw the silver balls in the cupboard ,so they had to go on too !!!
What a nuisance about the cooker Jane, you'll have to use your slow cooker a bit more !! Your kitchen will be hot with all the heat from that plate going on and off .
Mel, your poor back, i think resting is the only way to get it better , hard for you as your always on the go .
Frank, you'll have to use a water pistol on those cats , that might stop them . Glad Ros is eating a little some thing now , sitting out in the sun and getting a little air will do her good .
Son got me to get all his Beano comics and little comic books out of the cupboard , he thought he might sell them on e b*y ,so got the big pile out ,then he decided he'd look and see what they are sellling for first .....so back in the cupboard they went !!!!! just when i thought i'd get a space in the cupboard ,back they !!!!!

Spent a couple of hours yesterday bagging stuff I got round to admitting I'd no use for. Took it to the tip.The hard prt was doing it.Stuff I'd been clinging to for months, maybe years. The place looks roomier and tidier in its absence. Might become ruthless and visit the tip more often.

Mel ,the tatties are in the oven!.The ring is turning itself on and off every minute or so.it is a Halogen Ring.I have the fire extinguisher at hand lol I think a takeaway tomorrow and the next day. Can't be doing with being on fire watch all this time lol
David.I quite understand you being emotional .it was just the relief knowing it is nothing 'nasty'. I kept wondering if there was something bad causing my jaw ache.Mine is apparently grinding and clamping my teeth.I have to go tomorrow to get the bite guard!.That will be fun (not) :-S Are you nearly sorted now in the new bungalow?

Dentist was a traumatic experience today. Still have the chronic ache from R eye socket to my neck. She recommended I get my ears seen to as that and sinus blockages could be the cause of the symptoms.
I told her I was worried that the amalgam tatoo on my upper gum was the cause of it. She said it's not and it's not cancer. As soon as she used that word I felt very emotional. I must have been worrying more than I would admit to. :-S

Put s big pot of water on it Jane and then you will remember it is on. Or you could do what I do and do the baked pots in the micro and then just give them 20 mins in a high oven to crisp the skins.
Have'nt done anything today, just fed the chickens their corn and fed the fish.

Frank ,it is good to hear that Ros has felt like doing a bit in the garden and that hopefully those stronger patches will help keep some of that pain at bay.
Fiona ,not long for your OH to be away now,At least it isn't a whole week(like sometimes). It's nice that he has done the casserole for you.Where did you say you have to go for your appointment.?
Off to put the dreaded oven on now.If I could disconnect that ring I would.I'll just have keep my beady eye on it and make sure nothing is anywhere near it.

Hi Jane, Feeling a little low today, OH gone away till Wednesday, daughter no 2 and boyfriend decided to stay home for dinner, so I am on my own. OH made me a chicken casserole before he went so all I have to do is put on some new potatoes and some cauliflower for dinner. Suns out now, I think I will have a walk round the garden I've been inside all day, could do with some fresh air.

I just realised I am doing Baked Potatoes tonight. That means the oven will be on for ages and the dodgy ring will on and off .I know I could use the Micro wave but I don't like my pots done in there as I rub the skin with olive oil and salt so it goes crispy in the oven. Sounds like you had a good weekend Maureen and more to come at your Daughters! At least you have a bit of time to recover lol
Pat I'm guessing you will not be recommending your 'workmen' lol. Is it a company with a website. If so there will be sure to be a bit for customers to add their bit as too how satisfied they have been with everything !I would have a look and see if I were you.
Fiona .How have you been this afternoon? Not long now for your appointment.Same day as Ros I think. Oh Ann you are going to have a grand day on the 23rd.How exciting!
Kim when is Joel's 21st? I'm sure you will have said ,but we seem to have so many posts I think I keep missing some :-( :-(
Maureen some of your emails are brilliant lol

Hi All, I'm back after a very indulgent weekend. Lots of food and drink, went a bit mad on Saturday so slowed down yesterday. It's so nice to sit out in the garden with family having dinner. I don't bother here, seems a bit 'billy no mates' sitting out there on your own.
I've got to get back into my exercising and healthier diet now, but only for a couple of weeks, then I'm off to the other daughter for a weekend.
Hope everyone is feeling better.

Afternoon all..Thank you for the comments about my kitchen
Painter arrived at 8 finnished off his bit in the kitchen and done some more painting in the bathroom..I keep having different crews.
How the one before this one could tell me he had put 2 under and 2 top coats on when the top paint is still tacky from this painter...after 6 hours... Alan will finish off giving the last wall a coat of red paint,,we had to wait for the top half of the wall to be done again.. then another day it will havew another coat....I am waiting for the carpenter to arrive any time now to fit a folding door that goes under the stairs from the kitchen...then the kitchen will be done..
I have been down the road to get 2 cards while waiting 1st class stamps 46 p...I got a card weighed ready to send to my son for when he arrives in France..£1 to post that....airnail I didnt realise it went that way lol..
Frank glad Ros is feeling abit better and is able to sit in the sun,, Jane...I always keep the knobs on when cleaning lol.
Just waiting for the dispute over the bath now to be settled...I hope the weather is good when I am at my daughters...She is poorly at the moment so I dont suppose I will get much rest with 3 grandchildren..But it will be a nice break..these paints fumes are getting me down now.
Mel the pain killers I have been taking for my back have upset my stomach now..Hope your back feels better soon.

Mel, We use to have lavender plants up the front drive, but they got so big and overgrown. That year she made loads of lavender bags, sold them fot the Tapestry club. also sprigs of lavender, and all the bushes. !!!
Ros has just had a small bowl of vegeatable soup, andI am done for the day, is now sitting outside on her "SEAT" trimming up the boarder of dead plants etc., she must be feeling a bit better. The freash air will do her good.
I am done for the day, have cut and trimmed front lawn, put a barrow load of compost round the beds. and picked cuecumbers courgettes. and a few more tomatoe's. Can't believe how dry the ground is, mines like powder in places. Still looking for sprouters to put in, the ones at the Garden Centre are so small, I don't think they would stand being trans planted.

Morning to all friends and foes !!!!!
Nice morning here, with lots of fluffy white clouds.
Mel, Ros has to go back Thursday am to get the MRI results.
I had words with the insurance co. this morning. Their approved repairers for jewellery, have be messing me about. NOT A GOOD IDEA :-D :-D :-D :-D. I rang them first, and complained about the service they have given me. "We have been very busy" the old story. They have now agreed the repair cost, and sending the ring back today, The insurance Co. is transfering the cost less excess to my bank today. It pays, to stand up for yourself. !!!!
Pat, I hope you get a few days of decent weather, so you can relax, and forget the builders. !!
Liz, NOT LONG NOW my love, Just keep your cool.
Annx I am sure you will have a good day with your friends, whatever the weather, but sunshine will make the day.
I had a full monty this morning, Eggs, bacon, tomato's, mushroom, toast and tea. Ros had one shredded wheat. But I think she looks a bit less drawn around the eyes this morning. The patch she has now is stronger than the last, and seems she is getting a bit of relief. Thank goodness.
Will cut the front lawn today, and clear up after the neighbours Bloo# cats, I have put loads of different stuff down, but they still keep coming back to the same area. I know it's not mine., he always goes down the bottom of the garden. ANY IDEA'S HOW TO STOP THEM> PLEASE> !!!!
