Hi Maureen.......we have missed you too!! I thought you must be making the most of the sun on your new decking.......or painting a masterpiece on the lounge ceiling. Different to what you had I know, but I get those things that pop up telling me my computer is infected with umpteen things and used to panic. Now I just do a full scan with my own M*Afee and that usually says it is fine. Then I just close those pop ups down and they stop after a few times. Glad it's all been quiet in your area......did wonder about you.
Yes, got all your pics in the end......it looked a nice place to walk.
Loved the pics Mel, Shires are such gentle beauties. It must take hours to get them all ready.......such big bodies to wash and brush!! Hope all the walking you did hasn't upset your back too much. I spent longer in the garden yesterday and paid for it. I was all set to do a bit more today, but as soon as I headed for the back door it started pouring with rain......so it has had a rest!!
That must be very painful Pat, I know knee pain can make you feel miserable. Does the weather affect them too?
Fiona, we watched WDYTYA and thought how fantastic June was too, quite a funny lady and marvellous for 84. OH couldn't believe all the fags she was smoking! We thought her children looked a lot like her.
Mandy, I will remember that about the tides at Wells and walk out further next time I go. You wouldn't think the gazebo would have moved with the heavy pots of concrete holding it would you. I can hardly move some of ours with just soil in.
Frank, you ..... a boring life with all the mischief you get up to......I don't think so!!! lol Maybe a bit of time on your own would help while you feel as you do, you have been under a lot of strain lately. I love Maureen's remedy of a good singsong......I need earplugs when OH starts!!!! lol Now I come to think of it, we often have a singsong in the car on long journeys!
Pat, it must be lovely to look at nice fresh wallpaper now instead of plaster. I hope it is soon all finished for you.

Yes Jane I do have Arthritic knees and rather nasty varicose veins which do not help. We are due to go on holiday in 4 weeks and, much as I am looking forward to it, I am not looking forward to the 10hour flight. Will have to wear my extra thick support tights and keep moving around. Wish we could afford business class but we can't.

Oh dear Anne.I'm sorry you haven't been well.Is it Arthritic Knees?I seem to remember you mentioning your knees some time ago.How long is it before you go away? Would your OH care to come and do a bit of decorating here????I stay well away from Chris when he is decorating, especially if it involves wall paper :-S :-S I am changed and ready now,Chris is up making a strong coffee and yawning away. Frank young Miles sounds gorgeous.Ethan (in Dubai) is now a whopping 14lb (plus).Rachel says he is a monster !!!.I don't think he is even quite 3 months old yet.She is enrolling in swimming classes for Mums and Babes .That will be so good for Rachel as she will get to meet some other new Mums. Frank we are off to the Pheasant at Keyston.Hannah bought us a couple of vouchers through'Groupon" Each voucher cost £20 and normal cost for the meal would be £50.It is 5 courses(small I hope) and you don't know what you are getting!.You can say beforehand if you can't eat fish or something ,so hopefully won't get served something you can't stand. It will be interesting!I had never heard of Groupon before. Its worth having a look up to see what deals are on in your areas.Hannah has bought 2 tickets for herself and a friend to go to a Comedy Cafe/Club for a Fiver each instead of £20,and another couple of vouchers fora Japanese Restaurant. I bought a nice new top today which I have on.I think it might be a little big but have cut off the tickets now.I think it will keep slipping a bit low in the front :-S

Must think about getting washed and changed now.Our meal is booked for 7 which is a bit early really. But never mind,it will be nice just to have someone else to cook :-D :-D I think the weather is a bit stuffy, and it's making us all a bit dopey.Chris is having a snooze ,and so is Chester.James is very quiet somewhere so maybe he is having a kip too. Right I'm off for now.See you all later.

Hi Everyone
The weather here is awful, wet cold and just miserable. Sorry to have neglected you all recently but I have not been very well and do tend to retreat into myself when things are not good.Have spoken to Doc today and am having to take pain killers every few hours to keep the pain away. Both of my knees are very swollen and causing my legs and back to ache constantly ugh. Frank Thanks for your message yesterday and you made me reolise how I have neglected you all ( and other things as well ) over the last few weeks. My problems are slight in comparison to everyone else and I lose track of that sometimes but now I am back!!! I have not read all the posts as , like Maureen, it will take forever but will pick up again from now. I do not know what this country is coming too but hope some good comes out of what has happened over the last few days. We are decorating the sitting room at the moment which involves hubby working away and me hiding, usually in the kitchen, until the air clears!! Should be good when its done as I am going to replace the curtains and lamps and generally drag it into the 21st centuary ( I hope ) Mandy Read your message about Wells next the sea and can picture the little train and the caravan park.Wish we were there in the sunshine as it is in very short supply here at the moment Better think about preparing dinner now as hubby will be starving <3

hoorah, I'm back, computer fixed at last, I really did miss not being able to use it, a bit like being without a phone.
I haven't had a chance to catch up on all the posts, I'd still be here next week, so be patient if I ask things that have already been answered.
Did you all get the photos in the end? Think the computer must have been on the blink then and I'm pleased to say it wasn't my fault in the end, although the keyboard didn't help, everytime I switched on the internet this notice came up about viruses and did I want it fixed, I thought it was all part of my anti virus thing but it was actually a virus, so anything that comes up now I just click cancel, s-i-l had to pass it to one of his friends as it was even too much for him to fix.
All quiet in my area, I don't live near any high street or shops but Ealing took quite a battering which is only about 5 miles away. What an earth makes people go on the rampage like that. Glad you were okay Sheila, I did think of you when I saw Birmingham was another target.
Frank, are you on medication, maybe that is what makes you feel down sometimes. I tell you what works for me, singing, I put a favourite CD on and sing at the top of my voice :-D
Have seen lots of baby Harry lately, he is another little smiler just like his cousin Finley, although he is going to be as dark as Finley is blond, must take some photos next time she's over.
It is good to be back, have missed you all <3

Lol Frank ,Did you say something? I had trouble yesterday with posts appearing more than once. But I think I managed to delete before anyone saw them. I think you have been under a huge amount of strain worrying about Ros Frank, and have coped brilliantly. This will be why you feel like you would quite like to have a bit of time to yourself.I think if Ros understood ,then she might be happy to go to Conrads .We know what you can get like sometimes :-S :-S :-S and I don;t think either of you could do with any major blow ups.A little bit of space can do wonders.
Mel ,love the Horses.Aren't they beauties. It looked quite breezy with their manes blowing .I hope the weather is good for Bude today.
Just going to start some ironing. No cooking tonight as we are off out.James will cook his own.

Well I never. It looks like Ros will go to Conrad and Jans on her own. I am trying to get her to stay till next Friday. Jan can take her to hospital on Thursday, and it won't be as far for her to travel. Then she can come home, either Thursday evening or Friday.
I am feeling so down, I will be best, left to my own devices. I won't starve, and I will find things to do, to pass my days. Would love to know why these feelings come over me.
Sorry Mandy, I left them on ,so you can see the trouble I am having with the site.
Trying to post. But still getting ERROR PAGE

Morning all,
You are a busy lot today. All this going out. I have no plans for anything, other than, perhaps getting a few bits again from Tesc#. What a boring life I lead. Am thinking of asking Ros if she would like to go to Conrad's on her own, I feel down today, so would like some time on my own. I bet when I mention it she will say, "I'M NOT GOING EITHER" I can never be right. !!!!
Pat. Conrad is Ros's youngest son,42 years of age and lives with Jan. in Edith Weston, Rutland. He's very good to us. Has taken us on all sorts of Holidays over the years, when his business was doing so well. He and Jan paid for us to go on a World tour, with all spending money included.. That was Feb/March 2007.
You girls are real little short ars##, 5'2" eyes of blue. etc etc. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
Saw the SAGA advert on T.V. about Genes, It made me remember that I was named after the MILKMAN. I don't think for any other reason, that they couldn't think of a NAME being the last one, of 10.
Hope you all have a good day today, and miss all the showers/rain that we are expecting.

Morning All,
Back in the land of the living now after a nice sleep.
Rained here earlier on and it is overcast now. BIL going fishing today so not sure what Chrissy and I will do.
Yesterday OH stoned some more of the wall but his waiting in did'nt get the tin delivered. Goodness knows when it will arrive.
Pat a little more progress then at last with the paper going up. Lets hope it is all over soon and you can get back to normal.
Fiona sorry to hear that you are still feeling sick, I do hope they can sort this problem for you soon.
Ann, how's your back this morning, a bit easier I hope. Had a bit of a twinge in mine again yesterday after all the walking we did.
I must just say again I have never seen a shire horse with so much tack on as the one at the show yesterday. I have a pic to send you taken with BIL's camera as my card filled on mine. I did'nt take the big camera, I took the one that I have lost the downloading lead of as the pics are smaller and I can send them more at a time instead of waiting ages for one to load.
Sheila, April is a naughty girl doing things like that with the dogs and cats. Hope you are keeping safe in this crazy world.

Good night Mel or good morning.
Morning Pat. Still feeling yucky this morning , mainly when I have to pick anything up, I am using an old walking stick , a friend from church gave it to me to help with my streaching exercises, it's handle is ideal for scooping up the clothes of the floor lol :-)
Missed WDYTUA last night, so have just watched it on catch up while having my breakfast. June Brown is a fantastic lady for her age. and to travel around finding out her family history that like. a very touching programe.
