Oh has just got home after dropping his footie pal in the city. He had just got in when he got a text from his pal to say it has kicked off in Leicester.....riot police everywhere. I thought I had been a bit silly thinking it hadn't been a good idea for him to be going in the city tonight.......seems I was right! Where will it all end.
Night, night everyone xx.

Evening All,
I think the thing I find most disturbing is the way none of them seemed a bit worried or frightened or to have any conscience or shame about what they were doing or any fear of anyone. The way they just smash their way in to grab the fancy trainers, tvs, gadgets and fags and booze........just pure greed and getting kicks from wrecking other people's lives, livelihoods and homes. I'd send them abroad to fight, marching in front of our brave troops to shield them!
Sheila, it must be quite worrying for you......keep safe won't you.
No need to apologise Liz, we all need to let off steam at times. We have had to say how far we are from the river for our insurance. It is stupid really as like you, we are uphill from it. I just hope everything is back on track now and all the signatures will be there next week. I hope you have a nice day at Exford tomorrow.......think I said before I had a nice stay at the White Horse there. It is where I first tasted Venison !! lol Yes, a piccie of Merlin please.
Ros has eaten quite a bit today Frank, so that is good. I think you are right about her being better at home with 'nurse' Frank in attendance!
Jane that seems a fair price for the car, so I hope you soon get a keen buyer and at least the washing machine has gone.....more space for you! After what Frank said, I just had a vision of you as 'Auntie Wainwright', boobytrapping the garage so 'customers' couldn't escape!!
Well, we definately have a new colony of bunnies at the back of the fence as they were lying out there sunning themselves this afternoon!!
We have booked ourselves a little holiday in Cornwall in September, down near the bottom end. OH is quite thrilled, started sorting what books he will take to read already and has found a footie match to go to at Truro the day we travel!! Talk about being up with the lark!!

Evening one and all,
Good news on the food front. Lunchtime I managed to tempt her to beans on toast. Just one slice. This evings it was two slices of chicken, three small potato's ans four springs of sprouters. A Magna# Ice Cream. She has just had a bit of stilton and three little biscuits.
You want a lot Jane, Sell the car, table and chairs to the poor old bloke who only wanted the washing machine. Made me think of Thora Herd in "Last of the Summer wine" :-D :-D :-D :-D Nobody goes into her shop without buying something.
Glad Brum is O.K. Shelia. We have had a bit of trouble in the rough area, on the Eastern side of Northampton. But that's normal anyway.
It looks like the Police are ready for trouble tonight 160,000 police on the streets of London. If they don't get control, I can see vigulantie groups starting up to protect their homes and business's. Those poor Jewellers, their shops compleatly emptied. There'll be some cheap goods on sale around that area. I am pleased I am not still working in London.
No football tomorrow night. It's the safest thing to happen, why look for problems, when you can prevent them.
Shirl, I trust you are well, and the sun is not too hot for your TOMATO and RUNNER BEAN. :-D :-D :-D :-D
Jane I have been picking runners for a few weeks now. I picked another two/three pound yesterday and prepared them for the freezer. The little tomato's from the seeds, are almost ready for picking. I picked a dozen or so on Sunday, and sent them back with Jan, together will a few potato's and very unripe pear,. which Conrad loves. He skyped me this morning to say he would like another Cuecumber and more courgettes. Saucey little Bugger. I won't have any left for us if he has his way.
Liz, Glad everything is back on track. Hope you enjoyed your afternoon out today.

Hi lovely people how are you. I am still in Birmingham and these riots are not a joke really getting out of hand. Watched telly last night agog at the appalling riots in London and then saw Brum was under attack in the city .Bull ring area .I had to go to town today to meet my friend Helen from the station she is visiting her mum and she lives in Harborne in Brum and tonight they are rioting there a really nice place where I grew up and I dread to think what will happen. The city was swarming with police one who said to me go to where you are going quickly and head straight back home . I did after meeting Helen she caught her bus and I mine we were going for a meal but did not bother. I phoned later and said you can come here if Harborne is having a problem .I do not think they will bother with this area there is nothing worth pinching. One hint and we will close.Helen said it was just some problem in a radio shop.
My thoughts are with Maureen over her computor and these riots. It is getting out of hand .I did see two youths beating the life out of a news stand on my way out of the city and dozens of riot clad police walking towards the city. why he was hitting a newstand I will could not understand unless he was trying to nick the papers to read how clever he thought he was.
Thanks Jane for thinking of me .I think Brum is ok now just a few single youths kicking off in various areas. Twitter and Facebook are making it worse Facebook showed a picture of a bull without its head not true the old bull is still intact. Having a business and seing that funiture shop burn down in Croydon that belonged to a family of three generations made me really sad for the guy , I used to work in Croydon in George street many years ago and it seemed unreal that happening there.
I want to emigrate the worlds gone mad. my nephew the one in Australia has gone down in my estimation also he left his wife and bought Farrari after getting a good job and moved into some posh apartment. What is the matter with young people. He said he was fed up of having no money My brother is annoyed. Aprils gone home we just could not handle her I packed her off when she decided to tie nextdoors cat with Jaspers lead to the swing so those two dogs of mine could scare the little thing to death. It scratched me she said I said i will scratch you if you do anything else and phoned Jess . Ryan stopped her pocket money for a week and she had to do house chores if she wanted to go out. Jess said I think she is jealous of the baby and wants attention. I am going to catch up on the threads all take care love to all from SHEILA. hope everyone is ok and happy. I have been catching up on house chores.

Evening everyone,
Another lovely sunny day , been shopping and then down to sit with the little ones so DIL could go to her dentist appointment for a clean up.
All these riots !! poor people losing their homes ,did you see the young lad who was injured and the scum behind him started going through his back pack ,one lad went off with something out of the bag !!!
I hope Sheila's ok , having an off license might make them a target !!!
Glad to hear Hannah's come home early , i'am not surprised she's bricking it !!! It's also good that she's not on her own and has others with her , would be scarey on your own !!!

Better news on the house front! Apparently our buyer has his insurance in place, signed his contract and is ready to roll! BUT although his buyer, has his Insurance in place, his Sol is STILL popping up new questions, so he hasn't signed yet until ALL queries are answered! Our buyer has told his sol to tell his buyer to get his finger out as he wants to get on - we shall see! It now looks as if we shall exchange next week!! Talk about frustrating, Ian not a happy bunny, but there you are, not much you can do except be patient!! Better day weatherwise, managed to dry washing outside! Tomorrow out for the day as it's Exford Show, shall take Merlin and have a good day out! Ian's just come back from riding. Apparently Merlin behaved beautifully, so that's one good thing!!!

Oh there is William!.Where do you live William? You may have said but I missed it. I was thinking on Sunday what we used to do on a Sunday. Sunday School for me and my sister under protest. Then Roast Dinner at I 'clock sharp.Woe betide if we were late.In the afternoons it was either a family walk, again under protest from me and Janice.A drive up on to the Moors maybe with a picnic tea or if the weather no good enough just an icecream from the van .Always a 99 for me.Or it would be visiting Mum and Dads friends.BORING!!. I always took myself off to inspect the toilet and would report to Mum (to her embarrassment)that it was nice and clean lolol.I don't know why I did that. But then it was the child's place to embarrass the parents. My mum always told me about the time on the bus when I asked her why there were Penguins on there.(in a loud voice). They were Nuns ;-) ;-)

Afternoon all! (Best Dixon of Dock Green vice).
Frank,it was Patricia Hayes I think who was with Arthur Haynes. And Mel, Max Wall was hilarious - and similar was Billy Dainty. My wife has gone mad buying fruit, I think she believes she's a wasp at this time of year! Maybe she'll turn into Carmen Miranda!!!
It's hard to belive that one incident in London could spark off National lunacy. We just visited a small shopping area on the outskirts of Coventry this morning and there it was. The RSPCA charity shop had the door totally destroyed, the huge plate glass windows damaged so they will have to be replaced, mindless. They didn't steal anything, just trashed the place. The only other premises affected was the bookies, where they smshed the door and windows. I overhead a member of staff on the phone in one of the other charity shops on the phone. It seems like other shops in the Coventry area had also been targeted. Two Community policewomen were going round all the shops to warn them to be on the alert. And we worry about other countries?
Yes, water cannons, I agree. All I heard last night and today was emergency vehicle sirens, because the main dispatch police station is nearby.
Let's go back to our memories, it's less harrowing than living in the present.
Off back to my family tree folks. Catch you later

I'm here Frank.Just picked another load of tomatoes. My runners should be ready to pick later this week.Yippee!!!!!!!!
Hannah is back at her place,They had an email at work to say Go Home Now.She thinks they have left the computers on .They just left immediately.Hannah was concerned that the tube might be closed, but it was ok.She actually said she felt quite scared as there are groups begining to gather again. She knows that at least a couple of her clients have been arrested, and others haven't turned up for their scripts for Methadone. I think her expression was she was Bricking it !!!!.I know I would be too. Hopefully she will relax for the rest of the afternoon out in the garden in the sunshine I think Ros will feel happier at home Frank just now.As you say she can do as she pleases.Hopefully she will have something to eat today.
I think I am going to go and put something a bit cooler on and do some weeding. So BBL

Washing all dried, and towels tumble dried, smell nice from one of those sheets, you put in. !!!
Just posted a letter for Ros to her Godmother in the I.O.M. bben out there for about 40 years. Tax haven in those days.
Turned out to be a nice sunny afternoon, the breeze helps to keep it cool. Everything seems to be drying out in this wind, so watering tonight.
Conrad wants us to go up to Rutland for a few days, but as Ros is at present, the best place for her is at home. She can do as she pleases without offending anyone, and hasn't any stairs to worry about.
Where are you all this afternoon, shopping, cleaning, or just sitting in the sun.

Max Wall, That's him Mel, my old brain can see things, but can't put names to them. :-D :-D Glad everything is ready for your "Holiday Makers" How long to they stay???
So pleased that Hannah is safe and sound. I did laugh at James's remark. my sence of humour.
Have got a coloureds wash on the line and the towels in the machine, they will go in the tumble dryer. Madam, won't put them on the line, she says they dry hard. !!!! Who an I to say :-( :-( :-(
Still no good news to report on the Ros side of things. Nothing to eat yesterday, and only a cup of tea so far today.
I decided to roast a small chicken, she can have it Hot or cold with Salad or hot veg. Have tried her on Jelly, rice, tapioca, custard Have bought plenty of fruit juices, so she got plenty to choose from.
Liz, what a performance. Flood risk and half mile from the river. It's like saying we will have flooding from the Grand Union Canal. :-D :-D :-D :-D What the devil do these insurance companies get there information from,. I was not saying we would want these Bastar## to defend our country Liz, but it would be a way of setting them some disipline. I really don't know what's happened to our lovely Country in the passed 30/40 years. NO RESPECT FOR MAN NOR BEAST. I agree will Ian, and I would be the first in line to do the deed. SCUM SCUM SCUM.
Kim, I am pleased you are getting some results from your Ebay efforts. Who knows. "Tomorrow we might be Millionaires" DEL BOY TROTTER.

What about Max Wall he did a backwards dance in those funny tight trousers. My dad always called me if he was on the telly.
Just have to have a shower and clean the table in the kitchen. Have'nt caught up with all your posts yet.
Suns out with a bit of a wind up but at least it's dry.
